Absolutely delicious burgers 🍔, great menu, great customer service, great price and friendly staff.
Absolutely love this place 😍
Great food, one of the best burgers I've eaten, and chips, not to mention those sweet chilli chicken tenders. Where has this place been all my life? <3
I've always came here as it's quite local, however the team here always make the best burgers. Hospitality is also on point to, just a great place to go for a feed and good vibes.
OMG what delicious burgers ... awesome service & onion rings to die for! Glad we found this joint! Ps. Coffee was amazing too!
Simon and the gang are awesome. Food amazing and tasty. Highly recommend anyone and everyone try it out. You won’t be disappointed or hungry
Thanks Simon, friendly staff, great service & my burger was great. We put you under pressure with 26 of us turning up at once & you guys handeld the prssure with flying colours
Brilliant burgers, fantastic expresso martini, great music, wonderful staff, lovely afternoon with friends and family - what's not to like!!
Been once after getting a menu from one of the workers/owners and was very impressed with the taste and friendly staff will definitely be returning
The burger was delicious, plenty of sauce (which I love!!!) the beef was perfectly cooked and that pulled pork😍😍😍😍
Kids loved it, can’t wait to tell their friends and the service was great! Samuel was keen to please and created a repor with the kids they thought he was great along with the food!
Have been here three or four times now and thought it was time to pull my thumb out and drop them 5 stars. Consistently delicious... perfectly cooked, juicy burgers. Crispy bacon... none of this warm ham shiz. Plenty of flavour options to satisfy everyone's tastebuds. Great chips... crunchy outside, fluffy inside. And all for more than reasonable prices. Service is always friendly and fast. What more could you ask for... swing by and treat yourself. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome burgers with even better price..to top it off as soon as they saw our dog offered to get us some water. .big winner in my book..we'll be back for sure...
Famished Wolf serve the best burgers and American sides in the Mordialloc area. On this occasion, I had ordered a cheeseburger and Wolf Wings. The cheeseburger was very good, but my only criticism was the bread is too thick. I enjoyed the Wolf Wings, but it could have done with a tad more sauce.
Somewhat surprisingly, their onion rings are actually the headline dish, in my experience – some of the juiciest, tastiest, generous onion rings I have ever had.
Great flavours. Gem for locals!
thefamishedwolfburgers hooked us up with some juicy buns and sides yesterday and I can honestly say the burgers were some of the best I've ever had! -

My favourite was the You So Nasty. The beef patty was so juicy and so tasty, the combo of sauces and the potato cake all together was that good I still havent shut up about it! I also loved the onion rings because Im a big onion ring fan!
I like the food here, it is cooked fresh and tastes pretty good. Sometimes I eat in as the place is pretty tidy and the music is good. Sometimes I grab a take out. Music choice is good and the staff are friendly, plenty of choice on the menu. There are a selection of beers. I'd recommend it as a place for burgers. Probably not date night material but maybe that works too.
Visited here for the first time last night with friends and our kids and loved how chill it was. Was a bit surprised by the cafe/take-away vibe but that totally works with toddlers. I ordered the Merv with pickles and wolf sauce instead of BBQ sauce and it was filling, tasty, and excellent textures. Friends all enjoyed their burgers. Chef very accommodating to additions and adaptations for all the burgers. Onion rings were perfectly battered and fried. Chips were crispy and potato-ey. Wolf wings were sweet and sour and perfectly cooked. We all agreed we would come back, and with such good prices it's hard to beat!
Hidden in the industrial back streets of Braeside, the burgers here are well worth a visit. Burgers have a great flavour, are big and juicy, and cooked well. Buffalo wings are a must as well, although they are not as spicy as I would like them. The owner is up for a chat, and has a nice selection of craft beers to compliment the food. I have been back a few times, and if they keep up the quality, I'll keep going back.
Cool little burger place hidden amongst the factories of braeside. Very chilled, quiet atmosphere. We both ordered the Duke with a large fries (which was massive). Awesome burger, probably up there with the best you can get in the area. I look forward to returning soon! Definitely worth checking out.
I called with enquiries for dietary requirements and the staff were so helpful. Put me on to the chef who answered my questions and helped immensely. So greatful for such amazing service even when I am such a difficult customer. The food was great too! Great combo deals.
Whilst it doesn't look like much from the outside, this burger restaurant serves up high quality burgers with value for money. It's definitely up there with other local offerings. The outdoor seating area is a nice upgrade from the last time I came here. My only suggestion is to offer some healthy options to keep up with the health trends such as being able to replace chips for salad and lettuce wrap instead of the bun. My flathead tail burger was awesome!
yum yum yum yum. Amazing tasty burgers, so happy that the buns weren't brioche! Ordered the USA, so good. Crunchy crispy chips and really nice chicken strips! Have already ordered twice, will definitely order again!
Producing really good quality burgs in the outer suburbs. Reasonable price, good variety and done just right. Highly recommend the beef with some extra jalapenos 🙌🙌🙌
Best beat I’ve ever had 👌🏼 really enjoyed the famished wolf, their service and atmosphere ☺️ I would definitely come here when I’m craving their famous brats and onion rings
Was surprised by this little gem. Nestled in an industrial estate my expectations were not too high, however was very happy with all aspects of the meal. Burgers were juicy and well cooked and sides (fries and onion rings) were also good and crispy. We sat outside at the front as it was a nice day, so kids were free to play also. Service was also friendly and fast. Will be back.
This unassuming venue in the heart of industrial Braeside is pumping out some banging burgers and hot dogs. I didn't know it existed until I saw them pop up on my Facebook page. Clever marketing Wolf, you got me!
Great little set up away from all the madness in neighbouring areas. Fair & competitive prices
The burger was amazing! A little too much sauce but that was the only critique, the overall burger (bun, patty, salad, egg, cheese) was so fresh.
Onion rings were very average.
Will be back!
Heard some really great reviews about the famished wolf so went to check it out. Quite an unusual location, we thought we had the wrong address at first. Some signage could help! We had the ranch burger, loaded fries and the original bratwurst sausage. Excellent service, good value for money and quick service we would definitely return. Highly reccomended!
It's a nice little place tucked in a quiet little street.
The burgers were generous and cheap for its price and I wouldn't mind popping back in if I'm in the area.
Way down south amongst the urban sprawl, wetlands & waterfowl in sunny Braeside, exists a gourmet burger house that serves up one of the best burgers in Melbourne. After a quick chat with the owner, I surmised that quality comes an absolute first here at "The famished wolf", and I was determined to sample a little more than I could digest normally, as my mouth was watering at the numerous selections on the menu. In the end I chose a "Pure brat", bratwurst sausage with four cheese blend, a basic cheeseburger and a legendary batch of "classic" loaded fries. Digging in I couldn't help but notice the size of the patty in my $7 cheeseburger - it was massive - likely 4 times the size served at Hungry Jack's (but we don't dine there any more do we). A very palatable taste without overwhelming additives - just great quality beef - and the added special sauce, cheese, tomato and lettuce was a fresh and delightful combination. The buns are just perfect! I thought they were brioche but alas I was told they are a local quality product. And the home baked sweets tick every box. In my book these sorts of eateries serve an example to all the other die-hard burger joints, who struggle to understand that quality must come first. The loaded fries were a tasty trip down memory lane as I remembered how I enjoyed these with every meal as a teenager in Chapel Street over 25 years ago. A part from the hard to find location and a little excessive sauces in the burgers (of which u can ask for a reduction on your next visit), I cannot fault this excellent burger outlet. Enjoy the drive as you work up the appetite, but for those hungry wolves out there hold on, don't divert from the path, you won't regret it! 4/5 from this satisfied wolverine!
I loved this little burger joint tucked away in the industrial estate. It wasn't too busy on the Saturday we went and the service was great. I had the gringo and my partner had the Merv plus a runny egg. The patties were juicy and the egg runny. The onion rings were delicious too!
Worked in the area for years, but didn't go looking for a good place to eat until I moved here recently. This was the first place I tried, and I am only disappointed that I didn't find this place sooner!Have had the Naughty Brat and a few of the burgers, so far all have been great experiences, and great value for quality.
Good to have great places to eat without having to go into the cbd.
Had seen much hype about this place so I thought I'd check it out. Tucked away location. Good to see a burger place in this industrial area. Service was friendly and ordering was easy. Prices are very competitive and fair. The burgers we got were good but not amazing. I think the buns got a little soggy due to too much sauce. Flavours were good but meat was a little dry perhaps. Bacon was a little too crispy for me. Overall worth the price but maybe didn't live up to the hype for us. Still probably early days for this place. The chips were underwhelming. Well cooked but seasoned in salt-not chicken salt- which made them a little bit boring after a while (considered asking for chicken salt but was hard to attract staff). Nothing bad about this place but I may need a second try to gauge a better opinion.
Did Melbourne really need another burger joint? Probably not, but I'm glad it's here.
We ate here on Saturday afternoon in the ambience of Breasides factory area enjoying the winter sun, but honestly it was quite nice. The shop was previously your run of the mill factory tuck shop until 5 months ago they changed into more of a burger store.
But let's not waste anymore time, how was the burger? The meat was good and cooked well, all ingredients appeared fresh and the bun was fresh and not too invasive to the overall burger.
Also had a side of chips and onion rings. The onion rings were great, not overcooked and not greasy. As for the chips they were probably the weakest part of the meal, lacking any flavour and still soft they just didn't have that crunch.
But if all that wasn't enough the value was the real clincher, we fed 2 people for $35 and that got us 2 burgers, 2 sides of chips, 2 cans of drinks and some onion rings. It was worth every dollar and then some.
Definitely worth a visit if you like burgers and like supporting some very friendly staff.
Loved loved loved this place. Best burgers- so delicious, great price and laid back atmosphere. Took our toddler there and we all had a great dinner. Friendly staff too and very accommodating!! Will be back!
BURGERS! AH that got your attention!
So recently we won a giveaway from @DamoForce - we'd like to say thank-you once again! 😊
As we are both very busy with work and live on the opposite side of the city it was difficult choosing an appropriate time to head down and try some epic burgers, but we decided to rush out of work on a Thursday and get down there as soon as possible!
To eat we had:
• USA Burger (Beef, double cheese, double bacon, mustard, lettuce and bbq sauce).
• Menchi Katsu (Crumbed beef, Japanese coleslaw and tonkatsu sauce).
• A side of onion rings and fries of course!
To drink we had:
• Iced Coffee Big M's (keeping it old school!)
• George had the Apple Juice.... (Intaking those Vitamin C's)
Since we battled Melbourne's hektik traffic, we arrived just before closing and the staff member who served us was more than happy to chuck on some last minute burgers for us, considering we'd made such a long trip getting there! We wanted to personally say thank-you to the legend of a dude (Sana) who went out of his way to ensure we had an epic experience considering we were running late!
Hands down, brilliant burgers!! Best onion rings we've had in a long time too! Worth the 1 hour drive 100%! We'll defs be back soon!
Great burger place in the bayside area. A must to all in the area to give this place a try, if you like burgers they have plenty of choice and sides to try
New burger place fast moving up the chain of the burger scene
The famished wolf is tucked away in the industrial estate of raw side
But are pumping out some amazing quality food
Delicious burgers
Bratwurst hotdogs
Loaded fried
House made desserts and cakes
They cover it all
I strongly suggest everybody try them out!!
Burgers that are full of flavour, served in a casual setting. My choice was served with a meat patty, salsa and avocado. The staff were lovely and the value for money is great, only $3.50 to add a drink and fries- I couldn't finish my whole meal!
Tucked away this hidden gem is a great find!! The range of burgers and brats are something to behold! Beef seasoned nicely and cooked juicy. The sauce and cheese are on point!! The burger had a high flavour impact!! The brats are proper brats, no fake cheap stuff. Highly recommend!
I do love a burger and who doesn't? The burgers coming out of this little unexpected cafe are outstanding. I got my burgers delivered through Menulog and after trying these guys multiple times I must say they are one of the best I've had and even delivered no sogginess or anything, even the fries stayed crunchy. Worth a visit if around the Braeside area.
A very unexpected high quality burger joint in Braeside. The Famished Wolf is situated in a heavily industrial part of town, this hidden gem is producing a damn fine feed.
Their menu consists of food that is right up my alley - Burgers, Chicken Wings and Loaded Fries amongst other things :P I really enjoyed everything about my feed here. Sauce was on point. Bacon Crispy. Soft Quality Beef. Melted Cheese. Pickles. All quality!
That is really a hidden gem. In the middle of an industrial complex we were searching for building materials and found out one of the best burgers in town!
Friendly staff, absolutely fantastic burgers; tasty, juicy, freshly cooked, quality ingredients; super fresh and crispy chips....
I wish they were closer to my home but it worth the drive for sure!
Double D's never disappoint. Second time having burgers from this place and it's been amazing. It's also the second time getting the Double D burger which is the double patty, and so far consistent. Ingredients were juicy and full of flavour, if anything, the bun was a little dry, maybe could have been done with extra toasting with butter, as juice heavy on bottom.
One of the best places to order onion rings as well, they're crispy and pretty large compared to some others places. Like all loaded fries, you want to be eating these almost straight away.
Pictured is the Double D burger, onion rings and loaded fries.
Decent service and food came quick. USA burger super juicy and full of flavour. Onion rings OK. Mac and Cheese was just missing something but again was OK. Definitely try some of the hot dogs next time. Few of the other burgers also deserve to be tried. Generally pretty good value and clean dine in. Staff friendly.
Nice location, only real ozbargainers will know what I'm sayin. Got the wolf combo and was thoroughly impressed, perfect burger and chips at a great price. The Famished wolf is truly the pinnacle of burger joints...
...sorry got distracted thinking about how good the burger was...
Well worth a visit! (Perhaps multiple)
Fabulous food, taste, serving size, presentation and service. Lucky to find it during our trip to Garden World.
