Review La Vera Pizza - Bribie Island

We had takeaway pizzas on the weekend. The large pizzas were a good size and toppings nice however bases were cooked slightly under and our New Orleans pizza did not have one prawn which was disappointing. A tad expensive for the quality delivered.

Very clean and well maintained restaurant the has a small but intimate eat in area offers inside and outside tables. Diverse menu that offers something for all tastes. Garlic pizza was amazing and the pizza we chose was absolutely delicious. It had actual topping with real Flavours. It was a real treat

This place was good, the chicken salad was very nice and it was fresh and plentiful. It was great for a sunset meal!

Best pizza on Bribie. Pasta dishes are awesome, never had a bad meal here. Staff are awesome too. No more dine in, takeaway only. Definitely worth a try 🍕🍕🍲🍲

Fantastic place to sit relax have a drink, have some food and look at the scenery. Pizzas are amazing, beer is cold, staff are friendly. One of my favorites places on Bribie.

The best pizza I have had in a long time. Beats the well known brand pizza hands down. FYI the gluten free pizza was excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Thank you for a great experience.

La Vera is a great place, they have the BEST pizza & Rissoto is superb & I have told pretty much everyone I know about the place have to say, the young lady that served us was very accommodating & naturally friendly

Visited on Friday. Would recommend you make a booking. Especially if you prefer to sit outside. What I love about this place, as well as the awesome food, is the atmosphere. Seated inside you could be anywhere in the world. A real restaurant feel. We took our own wine (wine snobs) and corkage is $5 per bottle, very reasonable these days. Yum!

Love, love, love this restaurant! The service is always friendly, setting is great most importantly the food is devine! We go there quite regularly, however my bestie had not been and it was her birthday. (I mentioned the bday, while booking a table) To my delight the lovely staff had put a huge happy birthday sign up. Always amazing! Thanks guys!

Service was ok, we were a bit dissapointed by the shredded ham on the Hawaiian pizza as it didn't taste very gourmet. It was more like the stuff bought over the counter from the local supermarket.

Wowsa! Called and ordered takeaway pizzas (pig and prawn and a Moroccan) 15 minutes later we picked up two extremely delicious pizzas! 10/10! I wish I was local to be able to get these pizzas all the time!

Absolutely loved it. Quick service, beautiful view and location and the food was delicious. Each pizza was so beautifully presented with a crunchy pizza crust and gourmet fresh ample toppings. Salad was fresh and dressing delicious. Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be going back. Well done to the La Vera team👍

Dishonest!!!!!!!!!!. Whilst waiting for our meals to arrive i overheard the waitress say to the table next to us "sorry and wrong". Immediately my attention went to that table. The waitress removed their partially eaten meals and apologised to them again. The order looked similar to what we had ordered. I said to my partner " i bet they gave them our order". Sure enough 5 minutes later 1 of our pizzas arrived and we were told the second one was on it's way. I looked down at a misshapen pizza and immediately knew what they had done. Two slices of pizza didn't fit into the shape of the circle! My partner took the pizza up to the counter unhappy that we had been served a pizza that had sat at another table for 10 minutes and had been picked at by another customer. He was told he was wrong that hadn't happened. The manager insisted they go talk to the other table to make sure the pizza hadn't been touched! Can you believe that? The manager thought it was okay to serve it to us as long as it hadn't been touched by another customer....The other table said YES they had picked at the pizza that sat at their table for 10 minutes...... OMG they tried to serve us a pizza that had been "fixed up" to look freshly cooked, picked at by another customer and reheated..... We cancelled our order but they still charged us for our drinks! <br/>Bribie is a small place and we locals talk.......

A excellent experience on Bribie. We have visited this establishment a few times, evenings and sat & sun lunch<br/>its just a great place, food was tasty and the menu interesting<br/>the staff we very pleasant

We have been to La vera many times,try to go every sunday, I cannot fault this Pizza bar, the food is allways perfect, the taste is everything we expect,from a beautiful pizza,the staff are allways lovely,and go out of there way to make you feel, comfortable,and welcome.I would give this 10 out of 10.and hope it allways stays here on Bribie.

Pizza bad service. I visit bribie on a regular basis and have frequented many cafés and restaurants over the past 10 years. With my family we booked into La Vera for 2013 New Year's Eve dinner as we believed that with new owners it may have improved our dinning experience. Making the booking was quick and efficient. The pizzas which are their main meal were mediocre. The service from the staff was unacceptable. They didn't smile, were not accommodating and we felt like a hinderance to their evening. I cannot see me returning and this is more due to the customer service rather than the meals.

Delicious Pizzas. Fantastic flavours and consistent quality. My go to takeaway option on Bribie Island. I do wish they had a thin base option though - they'd pretty much be unbeatable in the greater Brisbane region.

So so delicious! I'm a complete pizza snob, but I had by far the best pizza here. Add in the terrific service and an A+ experience all round!

Real surprise to find such great pizza at the end if Bribie Island . <br/>On a busy road but opposite the beach and park. Modern & open kitchen and repeating it has really great pizza

The search is over for the perfect pizza!. I think I have just died and gone to pizza heaven! <br/><br/>Just been treated to a couple of slices of Prawn and Pig and the Moroccan Lamb burger! Now at $20-22 a throw these boys aren't cheap (you can get 4x as much pizza for that at Dominos/Eagle Boys) but blimey they sure do fill you up! Every bite was greeted with a smile and ended in a Mmmmm. <br/><br/>Just found my new go-to guilty pleasure!

Best pizza on the island by far. The camembert and chilli jam pizza is a must. The rest of the menu is awsome.
