Review Sylvan Beach Seafood - Bribie Island

Happened to drop in & what a find! Good Food, Great View and Excellent Customer Service. The only thing you should do is if possible book ahead to get a table along the waters edge - we hadn't booked and had to settle for a couple of metres back from the water - still an awesome view! The chips here are amazing and come in super generous servings. We tried the fish and a burger - both were excellent. Highly recommend this spot and we will be back soon (but with a reservation next time) !

Delicious, went for dinner on the last night of our holiday. Food was delicious & well priced. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Thank you 😀

Having had fish and chips at woorim in the past and loved them, we were very hopeful about ordering on the other side of the island. Unfortunately it was really disappointing on all fronts. First of all 45 minutes of waiting led us to ask about our order and the staff admitted they forgot to cook it. We then waited another 25 minutes and when we opened the food, to our disgust it seems the soggy inedible chips were frozen crinkle cut. Now we eat these at home from air fryer and they are nice but these were oily, soggy chewy and quite awful so they went in the bin. Fish was average at best. I generally only leave good reviews but this experience was so bad I felt the public should be made aware.

Been here b4 love their seafood. Our dogs are welcome, outside the front area. Looks okay for wheelchair access. Their is plenty of seating and parking over the road and around in the park for take away. They are flat chat during holidays we go in the off peak times we had great food the other day sat beside the water it was a great day to be alive. The only down side was the cool drinks fridge didn't have much of a selection. Could be school holidays emptied it??.

Lively place by the beach to have a seafood lunch with a bottle of New Zealand wine. Dolphins having a ball within 30 meters from us.

After recommendation from the lovely Italian lady at the tourism office, we went to have lunch at Sylvan Beach Seafood Cafe. Despite having to wait a little while ( peak hour lunch) our lunch was to die for. Fresh ( not frozen) Battered cod with crunchy thick chips (not green glowing in the dark chips! ) and fresh Greek salad. Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back. Best fish & chips on the island by far. Makes me wish I live on the island.

Food was amazing! Coffee was good although not hot enough and had to chase up 2 drinks forgotten about. Staff very accommodating & helpful. View was great!!

The food, and the setting, were absolutely awesome. The only problem we had, was the 45 minute wait and not much variety in alcohol. They really need to do something, about both
