The best and only burgers we get nowadays! Have never looked back after trying Sue's takeaway!

Will not be returning. Went into this takeaway the other day and the owner was being very rude and abrasive to her staff, this has happened on a few occasions. One poor staff member looked really upset and all of them looked really stressed out. I also have noticed that they go through staff as fast as fire burns paper. It was nice food, but will not be supportive of a business that’s not willing to treat staff members with common decency.

Very disgusted in the service received by the owner here tonight, as I was waiting for my order I overheard the owner yelling at her staff, being very rude to them, then having her yell out my name many times asking about my order and telling me rudely it was my job to ask questions on the phone if I hadn't been asked. When I finally received my order the poor kid that handed me my food looked almost in tears and just kept apologizing and their other staff looking very embarrassed. After receiving my order, leaving the shop I had the owner follow me out and try tell me I hadn't paid for my order which I had indeed, that was when I witnessed her going off at her staff. As regular customers who travel over here at least once a week, we will not be returning as I do not condone treating staff in such an awful manner and not being polite to customers. I would be feeling very embarrassed in myself if that were me.

I received a raw burger but the chips were good 3/10

Please tell me why at 725 pm on Sunday 5th June Sue’s was not open for business. Doors were closed and they were cleaning up. (Sue please tell me how to contact you privately)

Hello I enjoyed some fish and chips there and thought the food and helpful

we as a family have been here on a few occasions and then went and had it on the beach front such great food and a great place to grab fresh fish and chip's pricing is a lot better then the in-town prices for a very similar quality of food so better price and great to sit and watch the wold go by such a beautiful place to visit......

Sue you better get back to run your cafe quick. It was the best cafe on the Island with great burgers and perfectly cooked chips.....but now is reverting to a greasy spoon joint. your amazing chicken burgers and chips are now sloppy greasy messes I'm sad to say. Last 2 takeaways were realoy poor. I'm hearing the same disappointment with other regulars...Im giving it a miss until I hear it has improved as we threw our last meal out as inedible.

Easily the best take away shop on bribie island and surrounding areas. Always cooked perfect and tasty. Service great as well.

Our go to takeaway � food is fresh, delicious, and soooo filling! Just yum � and the bar and grill is just as good as we recently found out. Keep up the good work �

Fresh fish, American style food for the binge days and burgers to top the list cmon�� can't get much better

Pork belly burger was delish. Cooked to perfection. Only thing I would add is some sauce to the coleslaw to balance the Asian sauce on the pork belly. Rib filler burger was also perfection. Big burgers. Great prices, Great service ����

Me and my wife had the Joseph jawbreaker and have to say it's probably the best chicken burger we have ever had, we will certainly be back for another one.

Really disgusted in the food and customer service my family went there today asked for chips 3 burgers and two fish and chips with salad plates was given no salad and for the fish we asked for cod not flake, then when we rang they tried make out we didnt order it then tried to cover up by saying we are training the girl who served us,the food was not edible my family is not impressed at all you need to get your act together your food is disgusting

1st time and will not return, very disappointed for a burger was over rated very dry & no salad.

Just order southern fried chicken and half scoop of chips for our dinner...THE BEST�...So tasty so crunchy and sooo filling...No more KFC chicken for this family...next time will add colesaw and gravy to our order. .maybe you guys could do buttery mashed spud...��..usually we go to sues on sundays its burger nite for us..after work...and.i am eating my way tru the burger menu so far have tried at least 5 or 6....They are delicious and huge..so keep it up chefs you are all doing a great job...

My husband and i travelled from the glass house mountains to try sues cafe and i can tell you that it was 1000% worth the drive the burgers were amazing chips delicious and the staff and owners the friendliest people i have come across for a very very long time made us feel right at home. We will be going back alot. Thank you again.

The 'plain' Burger should lose the plain moniker. All fresh ingredients, fried onions on top and the Beetroot for fresh tang, toasted bun and the sauce was just right, nice size meat patties for $7 this represents excellent value anf flavour, this is a classic, in fact rename it the Classic, cos there's nothing plain about it.

Always delicious, friendly staff and fast service. The burgers and home made dim sims are stand outs.

Sues is usually our go to, yet today we received over cooked fished that was unable to be eaten due to the chewiness, and also missed our gravy. We were too far to go back, but quite disappointed with the service we received today.
