Gorgeous little cafe. I ordered the grilled fish and though the portion was quite small, everything from the fish, to the salad and the chips were delicious, as well as the coffee.

Very quick and friendly service. The atmosphere is calming and low key. The food is amazing and presented well. Very comfortable seating outside. I have been over 20 times and have never had anything to complain about. Great service, would recommend to locals, tourists, or anyone passing through town. Thanks

So the Flying Duck is a local oechid! A Colourful quirky cafe with friendly service. Excellent healthy wholesome snacks & beverages. Expect to learn a little about the local orchids too. The pics on the wall & table numbers will add to the interest.

Recommended by a local hotel to visit this cafe. So off we walked and discovered this friendly almost mini cafe. Nice and woody with real chairs..not those bloody awful chrome things and tacky tin stools so common in city places. I ordered the brekky roll special with a large green tea, my partner two poached with smashed avo as a side. Arrived very promptly, my roll was soft and fluffy and fresh. The eggs the semi solid yolks required for the best brekky roll. The bacon was undercooked, tasty and as I didn't ask for crispy...my bad. It didn't spoil the deliciousness. My partners eggs perfectly cooked on fresh bread toast. The smashed? /creamed avo pronounced delish . Service was prompt friendly and the beverages high quality. Love this place and will return next trip down.
