Unexpected Treat!
Morning stroll for a coffee/ croissant lead to an absolute cracker brunch... Greeted by a flamboyant Englishman who had an admirable zest for life (I’m not typically a morning person) we were welcomed inside to place our order. Ms’s standing by shivering our barista and I assume Manager asked the waitress to up the thermostat. This kind of energy and immediate attention to detail was refreshing so we decided to hold back on the take away order while we sit and peruse the menu. Sufficed to say we left nourished and thoroughly impressed!
We’re booked in for date night next week, can’t wait to experience the dinner menu.

Cafe Neptunes is a newly renovated Modern Australian restaurant by Brighton beach that serves Modern Australian cuisine including a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The ambiance of the place is open and fresh, fitting as its right across the beach, its the perfect place to visit on a summers day. We came here for the launch and tried a range of their dishes.
Neptunes Brighton Le Sands is a bayside favourite that has recently reopened from a multi million dollar refurbishment. Offering panoramic Botany views to La Perouse and Kurnell, this bustling Grand Parade cafe specialises in understated and contemporary cool. Friendly and relaxed with a touch of sophistication, the outdoors have been brought inside by the understated green and neutral palette and abundance of potted and hanging plants.
This restaurant is located at Brighton Le Sand with amazing view on second floor. The food and cocktail is worth coming back🍤🍸🍹🍽 highly recommend the fish, so fresh and large serving🐟
Spectacular food; the staff were very friendly and polite.
The food tasted divine and the restaurant is very modern with a great space.
Being summer it was good to escape the heat but have na amazing view of the water .
The drinks were very tasty and satisfying for a hot summers day.
A beautiful cafe located right opposite to the beach at Brighton. Comfortable seating and very polite staff. Food was great , mind your appetite before ordering anything. They have generous servings and you could be full quite quickly.
The hot chocolate and chai was a bit watery, which I guess was due to the technical issue on the coffee machine. They acknowledged the issue and quickly made me a take away hot choc.
I would surely return to this place.

Start the night with a Passionfruit cocktail and a Smoky Escobar.

-gnocchi with truffle oil
-sweet potato
-fried cauliflower
Pizza dough here is thin with a slightly chewy base.
Will definitely be returning here for a night out with friends.

Located in an ideal position with beautiful views of the beach yet mostly not used to its advantage.
The service a little rushed and disorganized IMO. The food was good and satisfying but a little steep for what you get
Wow! After getting poor service at Mezes (we arrived at 1140 but apparently you can only have breakfast up until 1200 SHARP 🙄) , I decided to explore more of Brighton and discovered this place! When I asked about the lunch menu it was no problem at all! Service and food were both amazing! Bye bye Mezes hello Cafe Neptune 😍
Decent quality food and a cozy ambiance (on a weekday) makes this Cafe' stand out in Brighton Le Sands. I had the 120-day grain fed Eye Fillet which came with sauteed potato, baby spinach and my choice of the dianne sauce. The steak was cooked as requested, was tender and juicy. I enjoyed the spinach however the Dianne sauce was too sweet for my liking, whatever base Worcestershire sauce used was too sweet. I also tried the Greek salad which was fresh and tasty but lacked the ample Feta that would typically pepper the entire salad.
On the plus side, the staff were attentive and polite, orders were carefully taken so no points deducted there.
We finally finished off with some house blend coffee which was fairly good, but I've tasted better around the local area.
Overall a good experience, and we can't complain about the price premium given the top location.
High quality fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the 'something different' breakfast menu, especially the breakfast salad (quinoa kale avo pomegranate tomato feta poached eggs)... I'm not usually keen on kale, this was great!
We stayed nearby for a week, and I chose to eat here for a breakfast and a dinner. I enjoyed both meals. The staff were friendly, helpful and available. The feel of the restaurant is modern but comfortable and unpretentious. I had lamb shanks for dinner and an unusual but delicious breakfast: Neptune Stack-poached egg, haloumi, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach and Olives. The olives added an interesting element.
Best coffee you'll find in the area, friendly service and excellent food
Went here today with a group of 8 for lunch, glad I booked as the place was pretty busy for a Sunday. Portions were massive! Pricing was good, food tasty and coffee also nicely done, only bug bear is that the waitstaff could be more attentive (got my own table water, should ask how meals are going and continue to check on drink orders) otherwise good little spot.
The BEST seafood platter I have ever had in Sydney by far. Shame about the location with the front opening up right onto one of the busiest arteries of Sydney roads but the great service and fantastic food compensated for that
Went for breakfast Sunday stood in line for a table. It was worth the wait, in 15 mins when we sat the food was in front of us. Hard to find a cafe that serves good food n at a reasonable time give them 9/10 I know where Togo every Sunday morning now

A pretty and modern restaurant right in front of Brighton beach, this place has deliciously cooked food and great service. We were seated reasonably quickly, though we were waiting for a while to be given menus and anything else. I was a bit confused since the waiters were serving other people, and I thought that they must have forgotten to tend to us. A while later we were given menus and apologies by one of the other staff that seemed to be a manager of some sort. He tended to us the entire night without any worries and was quick to help us out. After a while of deciding through its pretty big menu, we had the garlic and cheese crust, diavloa gamberi pizza, fries, and a lava cake for dessert. I must warn you to not make the same mistakes we did, because we were not expecting two pizzas at all, that the garlic and cheese crust is mores a garlic and cheese pizza. It was delicious for sure, though we weren’t expecting to eat two pizzas tonight. It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrived and it looked so good. The fries came first and it was really well cooked, it had a crispy outside and a nice crunchy texture, while also remaining soft inside too. The garlic and cheese crust arrived with the diavola pizza and I was pretty shook when i saw it. Both pizzas were fantastic, with the dough achieving the perfect texture and it was very nice and soft to chew on. The garlic and cheese crust was very garlicky, so we had to pace ourselves a bit. The diavola on the other hand was quite interesting. We usually get the diavola flavours when we order from restaurants and so far all of them have had its own unique tastes. This one was quite good and had the perfect amount of chilli and flavour over it.
We only ate half of each pizza so we had to takeaway the rest, and the lava cake came after we were done with the savoury. I had most of it, since I would very much like to call myself a lava cake connoisseur and order one where they sell it. This variation of the lava cake would definitely make it onto my list of one of the best restaurant made lava cakes, it didnt taste bland or market-like, and actually had the lava in the middle.
The experience here has been well, with great food and service. After paying, the staff who tended to us all night had sincerely apologised to us for the wait when we seated, and offered us complimentary drinks on our next visit. It was a very thoughtful thing to do, so I suppose we are obligated to return at some point!
Every time I visit Neptunes I leave with the best impression - always happy with the food and service. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with happy friendly staff, and the ambience is nice with soft lighting. Arthur was great! He made us feel very welcome and he looked after us throughout the whole night. His hospitality is absolutely amazing - honestly the best service I've ever received from a restaurant. He has a great personality and big heart. He'll leave you walking out with a smile on your face. The food was great and very well presented. Finishing up with a Nutella pizza for dessert topped off the experience. The pizza base was super fresh and soft - hands down the best base, very good job guys. Thank you Arthur, chefs and staff for making our experience at Neptunes fantastic and memorable. I'll definitely be bringing more friends and family back to share the experience with.
We enjoyed the best Melbourne Cup lunch today at Neptune’s Brighton Le Sands. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were amazing and the staff were so friendly and professional! I can’t wait to take my friends and family back there
Love the ambience of this place and the view is amazing 🤩 I would definitely recommend! Staff is very friendly and accommodating and even through the phone customer service was great.
The food is great and the seafood platter was delicious. Location is great too with very close parking available on the street.
Oh my god such an amazing place amazing for entertainment bridal showers engagement parties birthdays it’s the way to go one of the best locations in Brighton food absolutely amazing and really really good highly recommend this place for everybody

Besides being fully booked Arthur still managed to find us a table to get us in.. he was great! He made us feel very welcome and he looked after us throughout the whole night. His hospitality is absolutely amazing - goes over and beyond to ensure his customers are happy, even by making me a cocktail that wasn't even on the menu! He has a great personality. You will definitely leave with a smile on your face and very full. The food was great and very well presented. Will definitely recommend to go there again and ask for Arthur 😊
