Review Cafe Bliss - Brighton

Coffee, fantastic. Food, so good! Staff amazing! Location, the best! If you’re after a cosy tucked away cafe opposite a park then look no further!

Great coffee and very friendly service. Although we didn't try the food menu, it looked great with plenty of options, both for vegetarian and vegans too. The cafe is located across the road form Landcox Park, which is ideal for walking with a takeaway from Cafe Bliss. Prompt service and a nice looking venue.

We had a lovely brunch here. The staff were incredibly friendly. I had the omelette which was delicious. Everyone was happy with their food! It's a fantastic vegetarian cafe. It's across the road from the park, which I'm sure would be great during spring and summer.

I have lived on the other side of North Road and was completely oblivious to this fantastic cafe near me. Pleasant atmosphere with amazing coffee. It is amazing what one will find, when they travel outside of their normal every day tracks.

Lovely find tucked in a quiet street overlooking a park. Good prices, great selection for vegetarians. Nice salads. Food made with love. There's a nice vibe to this place. Highly recommended.

What a delightful little cafe, we had pumpkin soup and lentil soup, both generous portions with toast. Both very good flavourwise. Lovely staff. Will go again. 🧡

We moved into the area 2 weeks ago and have visited 3 times since then. Sadly the food was so great that I kept on eating before remembering to take pics, so please excuse the bites in the pics lol. This place is simple at all levels but not lacking in any way. Good atmosphere, unpretentious and with a good menu and excellent food. We recommend the roti roll and the Mexican breakfast, also enjoyed their muffins and vanilla slice on another occasion. Definitely our new local ❤️

Just got back to the UK after visiting this place numerous times whilst visiting the family in Melbourne, and what I wouldn't give for a Cafe Bliss scrambled chilli eggs with a side of beans and one of your amazing coffees right now....... Awesome job your doing guys, and can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff. My kids say it has the best hot chocolate ever and after eating they ran off to the park across the road .

Best location in Brighton with its deck overlooking Landcox Park. Tsering the chef has plenty of experience at The Pantry in Brighton and I look forward to a cracking menu. Not to mention Kelsang's fabulous coffees.

I’ve given this place a chance about 3 times, it’s right across the street from a lovely park... The staff every time has been, I don’t want to say “rude”, but definitely NOT friendly. No smiles, very monotone... Some are noticeably impatient with kids. Tried to give this place a shot so many times but was let down every time. The food is really plain as well... Maybe consider getting new staff who make customers feel welcome...

This cafe has a large variety of vegan menu items and specials. I absolutely adore the seaweed salad - the peanuts add some extra crunch and the large variety of vegetables add extra nutritional value. The green juice is very wholesome, refreshing and reasonable in price. I am able to get a reasonably priced and nutritious, filling lunch on a Sunday afternoon....PERFECT ❤️

Great place for lunch, breakfast or afternoon tea. Friendly and a great location. Excellent coffee. Staff all attentive. Place is full of regular patrons who keep returning.
Love My Food
I love this place. Best Chai in Melbourne by far. Unpretentious, wholesome and tasty food. I have never been disappointed. Also family friendly and great location. And seriously, best Chai.

Poor service . Somehow managed to get order wrong three times (if you can’t remember , write it down ! ). Very indifferent and rude about the whole thing - I wouldn’t eat there again.

We had breakfast with friends. Cafe has really nice view of the park and we were expecting nice, professionally cooked food. Service was prompt and polite. When food arrived it was tasteless, portions small, price is very high for what it is. We are not going back.

A friend and I had lunch there yesterday and it was a total disaster. I ordered the Bliss Momos with Chilli Sauce, my friend Smashed Avocado with Fetta on Toast. The dough of the Momos was thick, leathery and dry, and the filling sparse and bland. The chilly sauce was in fact Soya sauce with perhaps added chilli powder (not sure), it was a salty grey liquid. My friend received two slabs of rock hard toast topped with the feta and avocado mix. No garnish in sight to improve the plate. The food is definitely not worth the money. I sent my meal back and made do with only coffee, which was okay. It is indeed a lovely spot right opposite the park but, alas, we won't be going back!

Loved my middle eastern breakfast. Hummus was zesty and tasty. Egg cooked to perfection. My decaf almond late was surprisingly well made. Most cafés do this poorly. Good price and value for money. A little slow but worth the wait. Lovely Landcox park across the road. Enjoy.

Really disappointed in this cafe. Although the young girl who seemed to be running the show on all her own was lovely. Upon entering we were ignored for five minutes. We ordered and the food and it was 100% not worth the price we paid 70 for four meals and we all left still feeling hungry. 17 dollars for a Mexican breakfast with three small pieces of avocado and inedible beans is just not on!

Would give it 100 our of 100. What an amazing place. The food is divine, the coffee superb, the staff friendly and the atmosphere organic!!!! Would recommend it to anyone who wants fantastic food and a very reasonable price. Carole

I looked up trip adviser and the internet for dog friendly cafes, found cafe bliss ( completely out of my way) when I arrived with my dog I was told to tie my dog up out away from me! I think you should say dog friendly as long as you leave your dog at home!!! A complete waste of my time!!!!

To the locals of Brighton East, thank you for keeping this gem of a place under wraps.

So so happy to have walked with Maxie our poodle to this gorgeous little cafe in a most beautiful environ opposite Landcox Street park.

I had to think long & hard whether to review this place as I want it all for myself!

I assumed this was part of the Tara Institute as its vegetarian but its not. Been here around 3 years.

The specials board changes monthly-ish but that's not exact & has a lot of other lovely choices for breakfast/brunch.

Mocha was so good, a wee bit stronger on the coffee but perfect milk, soft & silky & hot scalding. Short mac first cup a little sharp 3/5 next cup was better 4/5, more creamy less edgy.

My roti roll was so similar to Fress Cafe's breakfast burrito but with the added mushroom. It was absolutely delicious & a big serve for $10. Could have shared it with my darling who had the special Vegie Quiche with a most beautiful little salad (rocket, roast pumpkin, rice, beetroot & lovely light dressing.

What stood out on first arriving was the immediate warm welcome & quick service. So important!

I'm so happy to find a cafe that is hipster without being hipster, low key but so authentic, warm & unpretentious. Some seating inside, six seating a on the balcony (2 X 6 seats, 1 X 4 & 3 X 2 seats). Next door another 1 X 6 seats but obviously more available. Doggie friendly too!

Awesome coffee and scrambled eggs!! Great service and being next to the park is such a nice ambience. My dog enjoys sitting under the tables as well. :-)

Loved my ricotta special and my fresh juice. Friendly staff and good food. It's nice to have the option of gluten free bread. The food came quickly and was fresh and tasty
