First class French patisserie in bayside. Nancy and Fabrice the chef/owners and staff are the friendliest, caring people always welcoming. The best croque monsieurs ever, chicken leek pies, croissants, macarons and pastries are delicious. Chicken avo and smoked salmon baguettes & ready to go meals scrumptious - recommend all the food. The baguettes sell out fast need to call to hold some aside.. Have been regulars for over 10 yrs and they’re consistently top quality. Christmas time is a treat for the senses with gorgeous decorations and food!

Love moi - the pastries are simply amazing especially the croissants and the croque monsieur - a favourite when you are feeling under the weather. Grab your bread or baguette when leaving to keep the hunger at bay. Small and cozy with seating outside, make sure you pop in whenever in Bay Street Brighton and say hi to Nancy and Fabrice (chef Out the back).

Moi is heavily overpriced, however the food is of quite a good standard. The most frustrating part about Moi is the 'cash only' system, they do not accept card payments. In a world where card payments are everything, it is a massive deterrent.

We have been a regular to Moi for years. Great coffee, amazing food, baguette, croque monsieur (without equal), tuna galette, etc... getting hungry thinking about it.

It's a gorgeous little cafe, full of charm and warmth. Nancy is pure sunshine. The food and coffee are fabulous. It's always busy because it's good. If you think the staff are rude (referrring to a couple of previous reviews) it may be you...because locals and workers alike love this place!!

<br/><br/>Pastries are freshly baked and really nice, however, VERY rude and unpleasant staff!!!! It looks like they just don't want to be there. I just happened to buy a coffee on my way there from another shop but bought plenty of their pastries just to be told OFF that I am not allowed to have a take away coffee!!!!!!!

Terrible service, food is hit and miss. The cheesecake, berry meringue bites and chicken baguettes are delicious, but other menu items like the chocolate mousse cake, macarons and eclairs are completely tasteless. Management have been unbelievably rude, consistently.

Nice so far. Only tried the bread and a meat pie. Both were nice. All the food on display looks quality. Decor is nice. One of those small places that needs more tables because it gets quite busy at times. Will be going back for more tastings.

I love this place, I work close by & a few of my work friends & I go there once a week for lunch. Never disappointed, always fresh & delicious. Fabrices macaroons are absolute perfection & an amazing range of flavours - don't leave without trying one :) As another person said, he should appear on Mastercard. Decor is gorgeous & elegant - especially at Christmas time :)

I decided to go with a mini Salmon bagel. On the first bite, it was rather tough and cold. I would have preferred the bagel to be toasted or something. However, the salmon and the filling in there were fresh and tasty. There was a slight amount of mayo that gelled everything up nicely.
