Great Cafe with awesome food & lovely staff. It was great that they really listen to how you like your coffee & I like really hot coffee...now, I like cafe latte's, only because I dislike too much froth but still like chocolate sprinked on top...so this is now called 'a dressed latte' love it.

Zeppelin Kitchen is nothing short of amazing. I came to visit from interstate looking for a nearby café to have a meal, and my goodness did this café deliver. We were warmly greeted by front of house staff who gave us some menus to select from. I usually am quick to make a decision but everything on their all-day breakfast menu made it so difficult to choose as all items looked equally delicious! My partner and I chose the Shakshuka and the Wagyu Benedict and the first taste of the Wagyu Benedict was incredibly delicious, it just melted in my mouth. The eggs were beautifully cooked, and the sauce orchestrated such a wonderful meal experience. I also had the opportunity to try the Shakshuka which was equally, beautifully cooked. Filled with an array of spices, veggies including capsicum, and eggs, the Shakshuka was delicious. We made a special request to add rosti (or latkes as some people know it), and the chef's were happy to make the accommodation as the place wasn't too busy. We were also given little pockets of bread to fill the remaining Shakshuka with, and it was equally delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate was also delicious and beautifully prepared.

This place is very good, the food is great, portions are generous and the dishes are fresh. Prices are okay, is not cheap but not crazy either. The only thing not so good in here is the coffee.

Wonderful cafe in Brighton! Friendly service and amazing food! Had their halloumi wrap takeaway before and it was incredible. Went back again for a brunch on a Sunday morning and tried the Moroccan Shakshuka. It was so delicious! Plus their courtyard is beautiful too!
The Gollys
I had the most amazing lunch here. The chicken salad with sweet potato fries. They have an Israeli chef that they are blessed to have. Such outstanding salads. The juice was also really fresh. Service was impeccable. This will now become one of my faves. I will be back & highly recommend. They also sell amazing bread.

My experience at Zeppelin Kitchen began with a disastrous Uber which left me nauseatingly paled; even after 20 minutes of resting and walking it off. The accommodating and attentive FOH team were quick to greeting, assuring my company I would have our brunch needs catered to. The food and drinks were sublime — the lightly oiled hash-browns indicate the meticulous attention the BOH team will dedicate to treat your taste-buds. 5/5! An underrated experience conveniently located within North Brighton. Keep it up Zeppelin team, all the best over the festive season!

I went to Zeppelin Kitchen the other day and I’m so happy I did!
The owner of the cafe treated us like royalty, he was so lovely and just made the whole experience so memorable! The staff were also so nice and friendly, amazing team!

The food was just as amazing as the service! We indulged in the French toast and the magic mushroom dish as we both loved it. Very flavoursome and so well presented. 10/10
Came across this awesome artisan bakery cafe in Bay St. What a joy the food is incredible. The almond croissants are the best in Melbourne. The breads just amazing. The owner and his staff are just lovely so helpful and friendly will be back for breakfast which sounds divine. What a treasure to find a stand out place like this in Bay St Brighton

This was a straight "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" , given that over the last few years, Owner Terry has completely transformed this bakery onto a fully functional cafe which has now become the living beat of Brighton.
×
×
Not many have the courage to do what Terry did and that is to leave a fully fashioned corporate life where he headed a law firm, managed a multi million dollar budget ..to a brand new beginning, learning the art of baking, selling bread loaves from the boot of his car... and this passion for baking led him to open @zeppelin_kitchen
×
×
I won't write his story here, cos I have nearly convinced him to write a book about his journey ... as it is clearly the precipice of something exciting, and something that motivated the heck out of me.
×
×
We had :
× Zucchini Ensemble
× Chai Pannacotta Granola
× Chilli Lime Calamari

It was great to see that the whole @zeppelin_kitchen team was so tightly knit and passionate about their work. BIG Mojo Shout out to headchef Cheeni and staff Frena and Ben.

#mojolevel 5/5

Had a gem of a time at my visit to Zeppelin. I met the friendliest of staffs who took care of my bunch 100%. We ordered :

•Food
Zucchini ensemble
I loved this the most..the hidden green apple sliced were personally my favourite..i paired it with some extra chillies...it made the dish top notch.

Chai Panna Cotta Granola
Such a colorful dish. The presentation was on point. Loved everybit of colors on the plate...and the taste of chai just took the Panna Cotta Granola combination to the next level.

Chilly lime calamari
Not my personal favourite but overall loved the texture of the calamari.

Almond croissant
It was so flaky and was baked to perfection. The pastry to filling ratio waa perfect. Would RECOMMEND THIS.

•Juices 🥤

Lean & green
Beat me up
Salted mandarin juice

I tasted all three and my personal favourite was the lean & green aa it was very refreshing and an amazing combo with the dishes i had.

The overall experience was amazing and like i said the staffs are very friendly..do ask for some recommendation:)

Was walking and came by this treasure of a cafe by accident. I don't write many reviews but OMG the food here was absolutely amazing. I think because it was by accident it tasted better. We only had some foccacia's and some pastries but they were really top quality. Delicious. I can't believe we only discovered this place. Nice and friendly people too. We'll be coming back here for sure. Thank you.

Try anything on offer here and u will regret that you didn’t discover this place earlier. The owner is a very friendly chap who wants to please. Now where do u find proprietors like that these days .
@twogoodtoresist
While mainly focused on takeaway food, bakery and coffee, zeppelin does offer a sit down menu with an Israeli chef inspired menu. We ordered the shakshuka (baked eggs) and the Bircher muesli. The baked eggs were well flavoured but a little watery, the Bircher was delicious and we loved that they were so generous on the fruit. A cute place to check out when in the area! Service is quick and coffee is great
Vivian
Hands down the best pastries in Melbourne . I havnt been satisfied with a croissant since coming back from Paris and zeppelin bake house broke the chain of disappointment
The brunch items on the menu are cooked with love and come in very large in portions . The service was attentive and the staff extremely kind and warm , it really lifted my experience here up as I could really feel the love put into this establishment and it radiated throughout the whole cafe

The store is hiding at the end of the lanes, as long as u find this store, u will get amazed by this place. Their menu was so creative. Like the almond bréchet musli

I was excited to be invited to sample the menu at Zeppelin Bakehouse, a petite and cosy cafe located on the bustling festive Bay St in Brighton. When we arrived there the queues were out the door with people picking up bread and pastries, collecting their preordered fruit mince pies and waiting for their take away coffee.

As well as all the above, this little cafe also boasts a great all day menu with several classic brunch dishes and a range of middle eastern influenced dishes. Chef Yaniv talked quite passionately about how much he loves to create unique dishes for the specials menu which he likes to change regularly in order to keep their regular customers guessing.

We were fortunate to be here just around Hanukkah as there was a smoked salmon and latkes special on the menu. We ordered this along with the reuben benedict which came with corned beef brisket, sauerkraut, poached eggs and spinach all on a rye bread.

When the reuben benedict arrived It was a sizeable meal... certainly expect to be full after consuming. I loved how perfectly poached the eggs were. Check out my instagram highlights to see some amazing egg ooze footage). The sauerkraut with the spinach works well together and the hollandaise sauce, though subtle in citrus, worked wonders with the poached eggs. The rye bread was pretty damn perfect as well, so a great dish all round.

Kelisi was so glad she ordered the smoked salmon latkes (rosti/hash). This dish was also generous in size. The flavour combinations on this plate really made the dish a standout for me. Avocado mousse, tumeric cream cheese, artichoke, grilled tomatoes and a poachie all added something to this creative and visually stunning dish. The latkes (rosti) themselves were golden and tasty. If I was asked to choose for me this would be the favourite of the two dishes I tried, so head in quick before it is taken off the special menu.

We ordered coffee to accompany our meals and this well prepared and full flavoured and served at the perfect temperature, something I often find hit and miss with other cafes.

Overall we were both impressed with our dining experience and would love to come back and try some
of the other amazing dishes. We found both the owner Terry and Chef Yaniv to be extremely passionate about the food and bread they produce and observed their interaction with other customers, many clearly regulars, who were known by name.

The bakery itself has an amazing collection of breads and parties, to die for sausage rolls and the largest croissants I think I’ve seen.

Gluten Free Day was advertised as Thursday so that coeliac don’t miss out 👍🏼

A really enjoyable experience.
Good Food Good Mood
What an absolute treat to be invited to Zeppelin bakehouse today. Not only do they serve stellar breakfast fare their pastries look and taste sensational. The venue itself presents like an artisanal European bakery with the delicious fresh baked goods on display providing a heavenly scent. You can peer (and smell) into the kitchen to see all the behind he scenes action that goes into producing these little beauties.
The space is intimate but filled with regulars and locals. The owner Terry spoke to us of his previous career in the legal industry and how he left it behind for a desire to make more of a localised community contribution and channel his love of feeding people. It’s really nice to see cafes where the staff and customers are more like family and after precisely one year of being open they have achieved just that.
We opted for the shaksukha which was a vibrantly rich tomato and capsicum based sauce with baked eggs served with their phenomenal bread. A really authentic rendition of this traditional Israeli dish. We also had the almond bircher which was stunningly presented once again and not overly sweet like many mueslis tend to be. Our final dish was from the specials menu and really showcased the chefs Israeli heritage. Potato latkes were the base for the smoked salmon. Not unlike a rosti in texture if worked extremely well with the avocado mousse and turmeric cream cheese and all of the bright colours really popped on the plate. The consistent theme throughout was generous serves and gorgeously plated food.
Being a bakehouse we simply couldn’t leave without sampling some of the tempting treats. There’s an extensive array of delights displayed from brownies, to danishes, muffins to apple turnovers to the more seasonal mince tarts and some seriously gift worthy Christmas puddings. Being quite full at this point we decided on the ricotta danish being a lighter choice. I thought we’d just try it but we managed to eat the entire thing quite quickly which is testament to its deliciousness. We went away with a loaf of fruit sourdough which I eagerly anticipate eating later today!

It’s not too often that you come across a cafe that makes its own baked goods from scratch, and we are pleased to report that Zeppelin Bakehouse has definitely nailed the art of being a patisserie.
Not only does this bakery serve up a stunning variety of baked goods, from flakey croissants to house-made sourdoughs, as well as crowd favourites like brownies and banana breads, you also get the option to pick from a mouthwatering, well-executed menu and pretty solid coffees. For those looking to satisfy their breakfast cravings, Zeppelin Bakehouse is a cafe that must not be missed.

A pie and a pastie cost over $16. Ridiculous!
I am sorry but the pastry was thick and doughie inside and the fillings of both items were meagre.
I will not be returning.

A lovely cafe with lovely people. My first visit but wouldn't be the last for sure. My latte is nice and smooth. The chili scrambled egg is my favorite, nice and creamy with touches of red 🌶. This cafe suits my vegetarian days so perfectly. Attentive service is another strong key here I would say. Highly recommended 👍

Their almond croissants are a meal in themselves: very fresh, highly recommended. Also their Jewish New Year honey cake is divine: you can taste the cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger in it. I also recommend the shakshuka; having an Israeli chef there helps! And the staff are all so lovely. They deserve to be busy!

What an amazing bakery this is. Their delectable delights are fantastic no matter what your taste. Do yourself a big favor right now & try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

On my shopping strip, a few minutes walk from home. A refreshing addition to North Brighton with a young proprietor and hip staff. Tastful decor and reasonable menu. Have not eaten here yet, except for the almond pastery with my cafe latte. Impressed from 1st impression. Will return for breakfast.

Great cafe experience! Coffee was excellent and the Almond Croissant delicious! The Smashing Avocado was also very well presented. As for the service, it surpassed all expectation. The owner not only helped us with seating but accommodated my pram as well. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this cafe as the place to be on Bay St

Have visited this lovely fresh little bakehouse several times now when visiting my son, who actually is a regular and we both couldn't speak highly enough of it.
Friendly staff, excellent coffee and a fresh vibrant menu, not to mention the to die for treats.
My son swears by the Smashed Avo and i had the breakfast burger which was delicious.....those mushrooms, so yummy. Keep up the great work!

The service is excellent - engaging and prompt. I am a regular and the experience is consistently first class. Love the home made breads and the coffees are the best in town.

Great atmosphere, exquisite coffee, best bread in town. The staff are really friendly and can give you a great laugh while you enjoy the divine food provided. Will definitely make this a regular!

We have been coming here regularly on the weekend and have always had a great experience each time. The food is lovely ~ delicious pastries and artisan breads all made on the premises. The coffee is well made each time and most importantly staff that are friendly and care about their customers with warm & attentive service.
Being on the sunny side of Bay Street make this for a great place to stop!
Sarahjanegrau
I have been coming here fairly often since it opened. Their coffee has quickly become some of the best (if not the best) in the street. Their bread and other baked goods are second to none - really would struggle to fault anything, especially now that they seem to have found their feet. While the food is wonderful, it is the lovely staff that keep me coming back.
Yes it is pricey but you are in Brighton and you certainly get what you pay for.

I haven't had coffee this good in a very long time. Outstanding. Great place with a lovely friendly atmosphere, the staff are a hoot and the food is divine. Had a breakfast burger with bacon, so good I could've eaten another one. Took some pastries and bread home as well. The almond croissant was exquisite, as was the halva escargot. Beautiful seeded bread too. This will
most definitely be a regular haunt.
Ellagraceriches22
Best fresh bread in Brighton, absolutely amazing coffee and the staff are so friendly. Good spot to enjoy a divine all day breakfast and fresh pastries! Prompts to the owner Terry who has produced such a beautiful bakery!

Shocking service.
To the owner of the cafe: please fire the two clumsies serving, they're basically damaging your reputation.
All the customers left angrily.
Ms Marone
Very good coffee and the best decaf in Bay Street. Lovely staff and a delicious selection of artisan breads and treats. There are a few outside tables to sit and enjoying the sun too.
