Its not cheap but it is worth spending that extra little bit to get a better product. The fish of the day was brilliant, the batter was crisp and full of flavour, the fish itself was thick yet tender, it just fell apart in your mouth. Squid was a little bit chewy but it was proper squid not minced squid. The chips were great, well seasoned with chicken salt and just perfectly cooked

Very fresh seafood! Great batter on the fish. But overall seasoning lacks, definitely room for improvement even with a bit more salt + pepper.

Fish Tank Fish and Chips is a great Fish and Chippery with some really nice fresh Seafood, the Hamburgers are delicious and the value for money is pretty good, I Highly Recommend Fish Tank Fish and Chips! 👌🏼

An impromptu day-trip to Brighton Beach ended up with the best fish & chips we've ever had. We purchased the Fisherman's Delight - such superb value. The freshness of the fish & fried scallops (with the roe inside) was exquisite. A beautiful day made that much better. Quality such as this is why Melbourne is one of the most likeable cities in the world :)

Service was OK and staff fairly friendly, however they asked questions on how you would like things, take away or eat in and then forget to do them. Wasn't busy, so not really a rush hour issue. The fish and chips are good, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they are memorable. All in all, neither great nor terrible, unfortunately forgettable.

Ordered half dozen oysters, but two of them are smelly and didn’t taste good, only three oysters tasted good, the last one tasted weird but I sallowed it; the staff explained they are all arrived today and unwillingly gave me a new one; they should have done proper quality control when severing; Won’t recommend to have oysters there.

Nice fish and chip in Brighton. The portion is reasonable and price is bit pricey, but worth it. Love the wide range of selection available .

FAVOURITE FISH N CHIPS HANDS DOWN ! ...so far. This place is my fish n chips cravings safety net at the moment. Everytime i get that fishy feeling. I head here and get treated for my addiction. These guys serve up the best fish n chips in the area. You will pay for it $$ but its worth it. Also very diet friendly here. Its easy to locate and easy to find parking. A short stroll from the water. The staff are great here . Greeks love fish n chippies and this gets the chocco tick of approval! Keep up the good work Fish Tank 👏

had a really good meal, was made well and quick, and may I just add the service that the young man provided me was absolutely outstanding he was polite and efficient. I Belive his name was fletcher and I would highly recommend. Amazing!

The first time I walked into King Prawn I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the place not to mention the friendly guys who took my order. I am now a regular and have been for some time now. I love their perfectly cooked moist fish and crispy chips and admit openly to a bit of an addiction!

These guys are great!! Friendly service, great fish'n'chips (we drive from 15 minutes away to go specially here) and the burgers are really tasty!<br/>Always made to feel welcome and they even stayed open one night past closing to allow us to finish eating outside. A+++

Good fish and chip shop with prompt service. Couples pack for $18 had two flake (which you can get grilled or fried), two dim sim, two potato cake, and chips. Also have tartare sauce and tomato sauce at no extra cost. Seating inside and outside. Would return.

Since owner changed, this place is the fish&chip place you shouldn't miss! Good value for the money. Very nice people. Had grilled salmon, very tasty. Salad is outstanding. Chips is the best in the area, very important part to enjoy the mealz

Never fails to disappoint.<br/>This is my go to fish and chip store every Friday night, and it's not even considered my 'local' as I drive 15 minutes past other shops. Why do I like this place so much? Well, the staff are easy to speak to and very friendly, the waiting time is never long, and lastly, the main reason, the food is delicious, classic fish and chips. Any of their burgers are perfect, but not perfect in a fine dining type small pretentious burger way, instead a hearty well filled mouth watering burger. The buns are a crucial element, being so different from any I've had before, creating that individual taste. The rest of the menu is to the same quality, with the chips also being a stand out.<br/>Definitely worth your time.

Love this place. This is my regular fish and chip shop and I drive past two others to go to it. The chips are always perfectly cooked, not too soggy, not overdone. We just have the flake and each is well sized and well coked. Staff are friendly and always seem to remember me. I highly recommend it.

Bumped into this awesome fish and and chip shop while trying to find something to eat. Food and service as good and quick. Food tasted fresh and and not too greasy. Became the top spot for my fish and chip cravings. Highly recommended!

You can go for just a tasty afternoon snack or a high quality fine dinner or even a good old aussie lamb or chicken burger. Owned by friendly owner Chris, the attractive prices and delicious food, King Prawn Seafood & Grill is just too hard to stay away from. 10/10 and I don't know someone who doesn't agree with me!

King Prawn opened around four months ago after a complete refurbishment of what had been a fairly non-descript local fish & chip joint.<br/><br/>The shop is looking very smart indeed and even features a few small tables for those wanting to eat in.<br/><br/>My Burger with the lot was a tad disappointing. None of the ingredients had any distinguishable character and the Turkish style bun quickly disintegrated into a sopping mess.<br/><br/>The Fish (Flake) was on the small side, overcooked and dry. It tasted conspicuously of ammonia.<br/><br/>Was hopeful I may have discovered a new local Fish & Chip shop to frequent, however I was far from overjoyed with either the burger or the fish.
