Review Neo Thai Restaurant - Brighton

Food was amazing and really good portions too. Had ordered Thai green curry and Pad Kaprow with coconut rice and prawn crackers.

Reasonable, but meat was dry and chewy in both the dishes I had, and overall lacking the flavour and freshness I've come to expect from Thai food in Melbourne. Thai Saffron definitely the better option locally.

Why post the Zwift Delivery Policy on the web page for your Parkdale restaurant if that location doesn't actually offer home delivery? Thank-you for wasting 10 minutes of our time, we won't be eating in-store either.

Mixed Entree = was nice. We had Duck salad, VERY TENDER! Presentation was good. Also had Pad Thai. I asked for spicy, got nothing. Great food though.
Jay
Food not outstanding and service ordinary. They are too busy preparing uber eats to worry about customers it appears.

Lovely local Thai restaurant , I rushed in with partner for dinner at 10pm before kitchen close , service was great , food was tasty but food presentation was better

Nice food, cosy atmosphere, great service. I had Pad Thai. It wasn't the best is tasted but quality ingredients (See my other reviews). A bit pricy, but it is Brighton. I'm looking forward to coming here again.

Delicious authentic Thai. We had the green curry and the chilli basil chicken. Both excellent. Could do with a few more craft beers to choose from.

A small Thai restaurant in Brighton. The food was average, nothing special. Food tasted ok, but most of the food was a little bit sweet! The restaurant atmosphere was ok and the service was good! We orders The Neo seafood special grilled! It was very small dish with lots of salads, most dishes used the same salad dressing and it was very sour! Food price was average thai restaurants!

Cold Singha on tap and damn good spicy Thai food – it’s definitely my kind of place! Super small with the seating doubled with the outside area, you can rock up, have a few cold frothy ones and pick out some very tasty and very reasonable Thai. Perfect thai fish cakes with dipping sauce, plump, juicy, full of fish and flavour – tick tick!

Second time in a large group 10 people including an 8 yr old girl and it was a most enjoyable birthday celebration.
Service and food was well done with no complaints.

Cozy restaurant with little Thai trinkets dotted around the place & waitresses dressed in traditional attire. Food wasn't a game changer, but satisfying nonetheless. A filling feed for under $20 per head, I'm all in.

We've always enjoyed take away from Neo Thai but have called up recently and have been told to hang on and then I can hear other customers walk in and order. Eventually I was remembered and the phone was picked up. Very poor customer service

So good!. Love everything about this place, the food is outstanding (Massaman Chicken is the best), the price is unbelievable and the service is excellent! Highly recommend

Not good, strike three. I hate to be critical but I bit my tongue on this place after two pretty poor experiences (take away and eating in) but the last effort was just pathetic all round.

The mixed entree was so tiny and the food lacked any flavour at all so the $11 was already a lost cause. A gin & tonic with no lemon was pretty amateur. Following up with a duck curry that was virtually all sauce and no meat sealed the deal.

Whilst the service was pleasant, it seemed the place just didn't run like a smooth engine. Virtually empty it took ages for any good to appear, the waitress's all seem to disappear and be away for long periods.

I'm sorry but handing over $50 was somewhat deflating. By and large I have to say that all the good restaurants in Brighton seem to be on Church St whereas on Bay St epic fails!

Reliable and consistently good. One of our favourites for after the movie (cinema just up the road). Have dined here at least 8 times and never failed to enjoy.

We love the warm atmosphere of this place. From the romantic lighting to the elegant table settings. The staff are always charming and professional. We ordered a light meal and it arrived promptly. Delicate flavours, excellent Thai cuisine!

Worth trying for a quiet night out.

Bit of bad luck. Ambience is dated though staff are generally friendly. Value varies widely between dishes. Noodle dishes not bad, but the Thai seafood with salad dish was shocking. Four lonely little prawns and four sad little scallops on a bed of tired looking salad. Not great value for nearly twenty bucks.

Thank you Thai!. One of the best Thai restaurants ive been to in Australia. They sure know their stuff! Keep it up guys

Very refined local restaurant. Well-managed and insightful waitresses. All courses were tasty and filling. Red and green curry + pad see ew with chicken. From my Asian cuisine experience I would recommend the pad see ew with chicken as it should suit most taste buds because it is not the norm spicy/peanut flavour you would expect in Thai cuisine. Roti bread excellent (although eat it quickly)

Friendly staff, great food, the prawn dumplings are sensational, reasonable prices.

Service terrible. Forgot to bring drinks and then bought red not chardonnay. Dishes appeared at different times and waitress had to check several times on order. Staff disappear and have to be chased. Slow, unfriendly service. Not going back.

Service was terrible. Vthey forgot my meal. Did not bring water had to find waitress to assist us. Food came in late. Too busy with take away at the expense of the diner in the restaurant. Poor service. Needs attention.

Takes orders and doesn't deliver. Called this restaurant and asked if they delivered to our address. The person on the phone supposedly checked on a map and said yes and proceeded to take our order.
She then called back 30 minutes later to say no we don't deliver to your address.
Thanks for nothing.

Fantastic! This is the best Thai takeaway we have had in a long time! Chicken and cashew was delicious! Very happy it is just down the road!

Recently I took my family out for dinner at Neo Thai and left immediatley because of a very strange smell. Dissapointed as I had been there before and the food was great.
