Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The beef cheeks were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth kind of tender and great flavour 😌 Barramundi was fantastic. My sister loved the gnocchi. The strawberry crepes were delicious and filled with a fine custard layer. So good! Recommend this place 100%, will visit again in the future.

I just walked by with my friends. We orders two burgers. They were really excellent like eating in a five-star hotel. We will be back again! Thank you for your delicious food!

Best Italian restaurant with best pizza and pasta in the surrounding suburbs. Newly opened, I didn’t expect that Brighton can have good restaurant. Seafood pasta: so full of flavour!! With generous amount of shredded zucchini, seafood infused tomato sauce. Top notch!! Pizza: There pizza base is so good, fresh and well rested. Prociutto and lamb sausage are so good! Tiramisu: That’s what real authentic tiramisu should be!! You can taste the different layers! Keep doing good job! Almost every dish is sensational. Finally Brighton can have some decent restaurant :)

I took the hubby for his birthday lunch and took our teenage daughters as well. Our meals were delicious. The hubby had the gnocchi and he loved it. We all enjoyed our meals. The coffee and tiramisu cake was very nice. It was a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend Allegro and I’m looking forward to going back one evening to try their pizzas.

Always super impressed with the quality of food here. The pizzas are beautiful traditional style pizzas, and the beef rib i got for fathers day was next level. Quickly becoming one of our favourites in the area!

Where do I start... Slow and mid-managed service, with 4 different waiters over 1 hour of dining. The whisky sour was gross and had no flavour I had to stir it myself... The food was tasteless!!!! I had the risotto no flavour. Partner has the gnudi which also tastes like cardboard. I was gonna jump on their happy hour and have a drink after food, but I had to wait ages and ended up paying and leaving. I guess it's cheapish... Paid $80 for 2 cocktails and 2 mains, so maybe that saves them from one star. Really average, I don't recommend.

OMG.....the food is delicious!! I had the most beautiful calamari I have ever had!! And the gnocchi and rocket salad were both sensational. We were a large group and they took really wonderful care of us. Beautiful, warm, friendly service. Well done to Chris and the team!!!

I was appalled firstly by the way we were greeted when we first arrived. Before we could say anything, the waitress accused us for being 20 minutes late! What are we? Students who arrived late for our class being scolded by our teacher? No! We are customers arriving at a cafe who must be treated with decency and respect. My friend had also been a loyal customer for many years, so to treat her like that was just plain right rude!!! Rude rude rude! THEN exactly 1 hour (to the minute!!) the head waiter hastily bangs the bill on our table and tells us to pay and leave because they're expecting customers to sit at our table....honestly it was just appalling behaviour and completely NOT ACCEPTABLE! The waitress apologised on his behalf...but why didn’t he apologise? He was only a few metres away from her! Honestly Allegro...if you want happy customers who will return, treat them like human beings...not like mince meat that gets churned out quickly from a meat grinder!!!!!

We visited with friends after getting out of a movie as we had only eaten popcorn and were quite hungry. As we entered, we were greeted by a lonely gentleman who seated us and made us feel very welcome. We arrived late and they were nice enough to accomodate us so close to closing time. We ordered the pizza special with walnut, prosciutto, pear and gorgonzola and it was amazing!! The garlic focaccia was delicious too as was the caprese salad that had a nice twist with capers added but man, it was one of the best I've had. We will be returning.

I’m so disappointed about this place.<br/>When it first opened, it was great, the best staff, best breakfast, best chef, we made this place as our local.<br/>Unfortunately every time we go there, there’s a change to the menu, all the good things are disappeared, breakfast chef has quit, high staff turnover, poor quality, we don’t bother to go there anymore.

Not worth the incredibly high price.<br/>Eggs tasted of nothing but butter. Mushroom (1 for $6) dripping with water. <br/>Staff didn’t seem to care about food quality or know about the menu.

Elcellent Food! I love all food there. I tried beef burger, that was delicious like from 5star hotel. And also tonight I tried pasta, beef balls. Too good!

Tuesday night in Brighton and a famous location has a new face and energy.<br/>A group of us met after a movie for dinner.<br/>Everyone enjoyed the wide selections offered that included various skewers, wonderful prize varieties that had been jam packed with flavours.<br/>Well priced offerings and I would recommend anyone reading this to visit.<br/>The bar had extensive variety and the atmosphere was very inviting.<br/>

Love the coffee! And the pasta as well! Pizzas are also highly recommend. Friendly staffs and very nice environment after the decoration. Haven’t try the deserts, but will try them next time.

This place has a great new fitout which is light and bright but also warm with a lovely fireplace inside. The breakfast/brunch menu looks great with our picks being the potato rosti and the banoffee waffles are sooooo good. The coffee was sensational!!!
