A lovely Japanese restaurant on Bay Street Brighton. We sat down for lunch and it was beautiful. The waitress was polite and accommodating. The price was reasonable for Brighton shopping strip. We will definitely come back to try some other dishes. Recommended πŸ‘

Hachi Kichi is a popular little Japanese restaurant on Bay Street, Brighton. We enjoyed our choice of dishes however felt the miso sauce was a bit over the top. Tasty fare, however, in my opinion, seemed to lack the refinement seen in many other Japanese restaurants we have visited.

Tastes okay and reasonably fresh but TINY portions for $20-30. The neighbours call it Poverty Sushi 🀣🀣🀣

Great little find in the heart of Brighton - I am so happy I found Hachi Kichi! Casual and cozy restaurant. Excellent food that is always hot and fresh. Service is good as well, able to book online - everything is seamless at Hachi Kichi. Love coming here!

Great little place, think it’s fairly new and a great addition to the strip with very friendly & accomodating staff and delicious food with so much to choose from, will be back soon!

We had a pleasant dinner here on a Saturday night. Our waitress was lovely, her service was attentive and super friendly. Unfortunately the salmon tataki had a slightly off texture as if it wasn't very fresh fish. Everything else we had was decent and reflective of the price range.
