It was the third time for my wife, first for me. Only had mains but the lamb was good and snapper very nice indeed. Views night less interesting than during the day. Service was attentive without being cloying. Prices not cheap but reasonable for quality, service and ambience. Happy to go again.
Had a wonderful meal at View at 85 cafe, I had a steak which was cooked to perfection and my husband had seafood. Service was fantastic and the cakes are amazing (homemade).
We will definitely be back, was just lovely to be able to eat and watch the sunset in such a nice place!
Tasty lunch of salt & pepper squid and grilled lamb burger with fat chips. Good size meals. Topped off with nice coffees. Warm service from both waitresses. A great view of Brighton foreshore from inside the cafe. Enjoyable experience all round.
Before spending the afternoon with children and grandchildren on Father's Day a week ago, my wife took me to the Brighton Jetty Cafe for lunch. We reckoned we had the perfect table, up a few steps and looking over the road towards the jetty. A great view of people, kids, dogs being blown about on that windy afternoon.
Don't be fooled by the name "Cafe". Smart staff, food great, quality wines. Liked the Portuguese touch, (as has Hortas, an excellent restaurant at Port Noarlunga which we learnt is owned by the same person.)
Fantastic!. Not sure why I always see this place empty but the breakfast has got to be the best on Jetty rd! Came here after a long walk and was thoroughly satisfied. The eggs florentine is yummy!
Best Fish and Chips. I am 1 fussy fish eater and I have to admit that they are the best fish and chips in adelaide!! To top it up, the prawn cutlet were actual prawns crumbs and not the usual crappy 1!!
Our little hidden gem. As a local we go here quite often. Nothing better than a treat mid week for dinner, usually very quiet and it feels like having your own personal restaurant. The service is always 5star professional and the food 5star fantastic.
My favourite restaurant of all time. Wonderful service and every meal we have ever eaten here is second to none. Perfect each and every time. Despite being a little bit pricy, I am happy to put money aside to make sure we have date night here once a month!
Beautiful spot, amazing food, wonderful service! Ten out of ten!
Great place to eat. We ate at BJC recently and found out that it is the same owner as Hortas in Port Noarlunga. He knows his stuff. The food is excellent. I ordered a surf and turf option which was not on the menu and the chef turned on one of the best surf and turf dishes I've ever tasted. We'll be back.
Brighton's best restaurant. Wow, wow, wow. We have been coming here regularly for 5 years and we have never been disappointed. The food is always exceptional, Brenton is an extraordinary chef and every meal has been amazing. the other amazing thing about the Brighton Jetty Cafe is the incredible customer service. It doesn't matter how busy they are Phillipe and his staff always find the time for a chat. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable it is an absolute pleasure every time we eat here. Phillipe and his wonderful staff make it a special experience every time.
Great experience. My partner and I dined on a Monday night and had our best restaurant experience in a long time. The food was sensational and the service was impeccable. We will be going back for more.
Classy and relaxed breakfast. Having made a booking for 9am on Sunday morning, I felt a little anxious when it seemed all the other cafes were already open and brimming with people while the Brighton Jetty Cafe was more or less empty. Was there something I didn't know? As it turned out breakfast was excellent, and the service and ambience and the view were understated and classy, rather than frenetic and busy. Here's a mark of how good the meal was - I had the big breakfast and requested my eggs fried - I normally go for fried because although I like poached eggs I am usually disappointed with the quality - they come out cold, or overcooked, or on top of bread wet from the cooking water. I figure it's more likely the chef can do a good fried egg than a good poached egg. Anyway, my eggs came out poached, not fried, but they were PERFECT. So hats off to the chef! My partner had the Eggs Florentine and they were also top-notch with about $10 of smoked salmon on the plate :)
Fabulous outlook, delicious food and the best coffee.
Recommend to all. Very welcoming with lovely service & views. Food was great and satisfying with a lovely coffee to finish.
Brighton's best!. Food was great. Service very good!
Anzac Day Breakfast. Yesterday we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Superb scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. In spite the early hour and the crowded cafe the service was prompt, efficient and friendly. This cafe is great asset to Brighton.

Best in Brighton. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch yesterday with two English friends from a Cruise ship.
As they only had one day in Adelaide we wanted it to be memorable. The food, wine and service were all excellent. Our friends were very impressed. Thank you Brighton Jetty Cafe.

Great Cafe !. Returned to Brighton Jetty Cafe for a special Anniversary dinner. As always enjoyed an excellent meal and superb service, chilled glasses, regular water top ups and good wine advice. Staff very friendly, courteous and competent.
A great value meal and a million dollar view. We will certainly be back.
New head chef and comes with it a very creative and tasty menu. It was fab. The food tastes good and the presentation was up with the best.
Stopped in for breakfast and it was very nice. Service was very good and friendly. Thought the eggs were nicely cooked but a bit on the small side. But I was very hungry :)
Cafe by the Beach. There's a little café down by the beach, with white table cloths where the sun shines off the cutlery and sparkles through the wine glasses. The Brighton Jetty Café has a really nice lunch menu. It's not the longest menu list I've seen, but with a glass of wine it's a great place to sit and watch the world go by on a Sunday afternoon. Had the seafood chowder and seafood plate, as you would do if down by the beach on a winters day. The seafood chowder has gone down in serving size since the last time we were here, but there were nice size prawns, mussels and fish in the chowder. The Seafood plate was a nice serve for around $19. The batter on the fish was light and crisp with the fish moist inside. Finished off with coffee and cake it's a nice place. We will be back to our local café.
A favourite of mine. This is a great venue in winter and summer as the views are brilliant whereever you're sitting in the restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. The food is brilliant - both times we've been we've ordered most of our meal off the specials board and have not been disappointed. If you can squeeze it in the pannacotta is great.
We're still enjoying some really lovely autumn weather so what better to do than head down to the seaside and grab a coffee and cake? Apparently, it's grab a coffee and some breakfast.

Great location near Brighton Jetty. Handy for refreshments when we fishing in jetty.
Ordered a latte and soft drink there. The coffee was good.
What a wonderful place overlooking the beach. A full restaurant/cafe along with take away fish and chips. Wonderful atmosphere, grate waitresses with spectacular views. Food was fresh and tasty. I'll come back again
Good fish and chips, but not cheap. Conveniently overlooking Brighton beach and jetty for those looking to eat amongst the ever hopeful seagulls. Can get rather busy. Need to ask for lemon, tartare sauce and napkins if needed (cost extra). Chicken salt spread over everything by default, so ask for sea salt when ordering if you prefer traditional fish and chips.
I went to this cafe and had been blown away by the full-bodied taste of its coffee. I returned for a coffee today and it’s still the best taste I ever had! And what’s more, the view by the window seat is definitely a winner!
Awesome food and reasonable prices. Friendly staff with very good customer service attitude. Only remark is that due to the popularity of the place, there was limited time to stay on a table.
Being right on the corner of Jetty and Esplanade should be enough to make this place worth the visit but they don't stop there as they also have delicious food and great coffee. Staff are pleasant and helpful too. Gets busy but there always seems to be a few seats free.
I had the egg and bacon with tomato and spinach leaves and the bread was so good (and I'm not a fan of bread)
Glorious dinner.
The staff are efficient and friendly
I had the crumbed fish perfectly cooked with salad.
The owner recommended Paulletts Polish Hill Reisling, a perfect accompaniment to the fish and very reasonably priced.
The loaction is amazing and the sunset was glorious.
