Review Always Thai Cafe - Brighton

One of the worse meals I've ever had. Waited almost 45 minutes for our main course after our starters. Everything tasted the same which is tasteless, absolutely no spices or heat at all. The most shocking dish was the fried noodles which tasted like they just boiled it and mixed with a few vegetables. It's such a shame as the waitress tried her best and the service was overall good, but she was on her own serving 12 tables. Never again.

Thai restaurant, good not amazing. Perhaps this is a more authentic Thai as other reviewers have suggested (flavours not super strong). Also Green Thai curry was very oily. Massaman was nice though. Staff friendly.

Great ambiance. Excellent service. Amazing food!!!! Must try: 1. Fish cakes (if you have been to Thailand have a bite and you're transported right back) 2. Dumplings (siomaaiii love indeed! Filipinos can relate) 3. Broccoli with spicy nut sauce (sorry not sure about the name but the taste I will definitely remember! Perfectly cooked paired with that flavorful sauce) 4. Beef with veggies in spicy sauce (refreshing to the palate) 5. Sea bass in garlic chilli sauce (yes please!!!! Fave ❤️ last but definitely n0t the least) Share the entire experience with a good company and that right there is living life! 😉

Best food ever. Wanted to lick the plate clean. Had green curry with side of vegetables. They were rhe best vegetables I have ever had. Sorry the pictures are half eaten but I just couldn't wait to get started.

The food was really tasty, like less fake tasting than many other places. The guy who I presume was the manager was delightful and the girl serving was so polite and beautiful. Both such beautiful people. We were the second to last people in there just past 10pm so they were clearly tired. A lady came out of the back with her coat and bag, who I presume was the chef, and went home, and even she was smiling at us in a really friendly way on her way out. I really like the decor as well. I'm not from the area so it was my first time here but my friend loves it. I just wish we carried cash on us to leave a tip!! I felt awful, especially as he gave us free jasmin tea at the end. Really appreciated

The food was very tasty, the place had a great vibe. The service blew my mind! This place is one of the most queer inclusive places I’ve come across in Brighton. The waiter was an absolute gem who was so kind, supportive and helpful. I loved the whole experience!

Came here yesterday, my first time in Brighton and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I was treated like a queen by all of the staff and the food was authentic and fresh. The ambiance is lovely, welcoming and warm. Fabulous front of house service, shoutout to the manager! Hope I’ll run into him again :)

Popped in for dinner while in Brighton over the weekend. Lovely little Thai restaurant with authentic flavours. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spicy Beef Salad was especially good, as was the Red chicken Curry and Pork Panang stir fry.
