I cannot imagine how anyone could give La Vue anything but five stars. I took my wife here for our anniversary and we had a wonderful evening. The venue is superb, away from the crowds with spectacular views. The service was impeccable and the food is to die for. It is one of the few places where the owner Ronaldo helps out wherever he may be needed and talks to his customers. He spoke to us a couple of times during the night and was generous enough to give us each a liqueur after our meal to complete our evening. In my opinion the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. There are cheaper and dearer places in Brisbane but none better than La Vue. Thanks Ronaldo and staff for a great evening.
We visited La Vue restaurant on Saturday 17th September for my birthday, absolutely superb !!!
To start with, on booking, I requested a table by the window and that was exactly what I got with a magnificent view of the Story Bridge by night. Each and every course was not only delicious but also, very well presented. I have to say the dessert was probably the best dessert I've ever eaten, which is a big statement given the fact we eat out regularly.
The staff could not have been more professional, very friendly but discreet in their approach. I would highly recommend this restaurant to future diners. 5*
We have dined here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The waiters are always attentive, polite and jovial. The food, amazing, always. It’s nearly a rarity these days to go to a restaurant and be able to have a conversation without having to shout across the table, this establishment is the exception. The service, the food and the ambiance is why we love this place. Well done guys.

We felt very welcomed and professionally looked after. I particularly appreciated the Chef’s flexibility to offer a plant based meal in reply to my request of no animal products upon making the booking. He personally came to explain the meal he’d planned for me and it was incredibly delicious! It should be added to their menu. Thank you for a wonderful night.
I loved everything about La Vue. The incredible food, wine, service and city view were simply Devine. It was the best restaurant meal we have had in 6 years and we savoured every moment! Thankyou Ronaldo, Sylvia and team for a lovely night.

It was our date night and have lived in Brisbane for 2 years already and we'd walk past La Vue many times. The outside is quite deceiving and hardly inspiring... But after reading some reviews, we bit the bullet to have dinner. Oooohhh my goodness! So amazing. The interior, the seating, the staff and food are sensational! We attended for our wedding anniversary. From the minute we walked in, the experience was exceptional. From the incredible view of the Story Bridge and the Brisbane river, to the menu and overall experience. The service was attentive without being overbearing, the food was delicious, the wine just topped off an amazing evening. When you consider the standard of food and customer service, the prices were more than reasonable. We will definitely be going back, only next time we will be taking others with us so they get to share the experience. Thank you so much
Walked past this amazing restaurant on the way to the ferry. Stopped in for dinner on our way back and so glad we did. The food was full of flavour, the portions were perfect and the service was outstanding. Add to that the decor, the views and the staff and you'll struggle to find a better dining experience on the waterfront. 10/10.
