For special occasions! Very impressed by this venue. The attention to details is second to none in town! Delicate flavouring and seasoning reminded me of fabulous restaurants and experience in Tokyo. I haven’t come across anything as refined as this restaurant in Brisbane yet. Great place.

As good as I have had anywhere! Dan Arnold's restaurant is flawless. The food is incredible. We splashed out on the Carte Blanche menu - it is not cheap but felt it was incredible value for money. It was generous and delicous. Dan's kitchen puts out some remarkable food. The service was fantastic - great wines, and a cheese trolley to match! The tables are laid out spaciously and there is not a bad table in the place. Perfect for intimate nights out and talking. I have booked again for my next Brisbane visit!

Wow! An amazing food and dining experience. The decor is modern, sparse and earthy. Lovely wooden tables and comfortable chairs complemented the modern minimalistic cutlery and glassware. The service was very friendly helpful and pleasant. The food... Oh wow. We had the 5 course selection. The care taken in presenting the food on each plate was matched in the tasting experience. No flavours were overdone, no flavours lost.... Everything is balanced beautifully. Each course may appear small but you were definitely well nourished by the end. In between each course we were given extra little treats from the kitchen. I have to say, the duck was THE BEST I have ever had. A nice selection of wine, beer and spirits on hand to choose from. Actually, I cannot point to a dish that did not deliver. Was it expensive? This is not a cheap restaurant, but truly this is NOT an expensive restaurant for the food and service you get. Restaurant Dan Arnold is firmly at the top of my recommendation list as we work our way through the top restaurants in Brisbane.

Had such an amazing experience here at Restaurant Dan Arnold! The food was incredibly special along with the wine pairings, it was a truly memorable dinner. Fine dining and one of the best restaurants in Australia at the moment. Above all else, the floor staff were incredible. Happy, energetic and friendly, they made the delicious food into a memorable moment. Highly recommend, menu changes with the seasons, so go at least 4 times a year 😂

Everything about RDA - perfection. Service was exceptional. The degustation was absolutely satisfying and wonderfully delicious. It was worth every dollar. Overall, an amazing memorable experience. ❤️ My only critique though.. the comfort of the chairs. Our legs felt pretty cramped near to the end of our meals 😂 oh well, it was worth it anyway.

I believe Restaurant Dan Arnold is underrated because it’s been the best dining experience in Brisbane so far. We live less than 500m away from this gem and walk/drive past everyday and have never noticed it. How have we been missing such an incredible restaurant??? So glad it came on our radar recently and decided to go here for my birthday. The decor is minimalistic chic, the staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food is EXCELLENT. It’s fine dining without the snobbery and fanfare which is so lovely. The staff here know true customer service. One of our waitresses realized the wrong cutlery had been set for our first course (we didn’t even notice) and came over and changed it very fast. Glasses were never empty. For sure the best fine dining we’ve had in Brisbane to date. Well done team!

Easy to see how RDA has got such a strong following. Dining here is a real adventure. Don't be fooled by the 'simple' looking menu. Faultless service and impeccable food (that you almost feel guilty eating after so much care has gone into the presentation).

Fantastic. Well constructed degustation menu. Had the 5 course with wines, Each bite considers every detail while still being approachable and unpretentious. The service was outstanding. The price is downright cheap for the best food I've had in Brisbane. The setting is gorgeous and on a saturday night the restaurant was buzzing. All cutlery and crockery is well paired to the dish. Cocktails are a must, don't limit yourself to the wines - the bartenders are brilliant. Dan has a special talent and passion for food. I can't wait to go back.

We had a group lunch and either the experiences 3 or 5. We’ll conceived executed and served. Very good staff. We were the only diners that day and so it lacked that buzz as it is very austere. I get austere but not for a single table. It was fairly newly opened when we went and have heard it is still good. Little touches and attention to details are rare on the 27th parallel especially at 153E. One of Brisbane’s best for food. Still pondering the ambience.

To begin with, how this restaurant has a rating of 3.9 when the last 8 reviewers (9 now) have given it 5 stars is beyond me.  Anyway, I digress.<br/><br/>My partner and I don't eat out frequently but when we do, we want it to be special and exceed what we can do ourselves at home (often not the case in our experience). Having mourned the loss of Esquire, we were delighted to discover that Restaurant Dan Arnold reaches similar levels of execution, imagination and flavour.  <br/><br/>The five course degustation (which is actually more than it sounds with two lots of amuse-bouche and petit fours) was sublime and wines matched perfectly. Whilst not strictly a vegetarian, I hardly ever eat meat so generally prefer when fine dining to at least ask if degustations can be made vegetarian. Despite the late notice (about four hours), Dan accommodated my request and did not put a foot wrong. The zucchini cannelloni was a sensation, as was the eggplant, while the king brown mushrooms was one of the 'meatiest' vege dishes I've ever had. It was hard to pick a standout, but the 'Fall's Farm Tomato' dish was a jaw dropper, particularly as it seemed such a simple dish on the surface.   <br/><br/>I tasted most of my partners dishes and my vegetarian options lacked nothing by comparison, which in my mind is the mark of a serious chef. Service was wonderful from all staff, the cheese trolley a thing of beauty, and the warm, down to earth welcome from Dan's partner, Amelié (maitre d') another highlight. It's inspiring to see a couple put their heart and soul into a new venture together. The passion is plain for all to see and we'll be back for sure.

Went here for an almost impromptu (last minute reservation via phone call) date night late dinner with the partner on a weekend.<br/><br/>We chose "Experience #5", which is five-course degustation. Before we had even ordered our drinks or had menus given to us, Dan, himself, and greeted us with small amuses bouches, including fresh oyster on delicate crispbread. Lovely.<br/><br/>The entire degustation course was perfect. The amuses bouches wetted our appetites, the entrees were light and delicate, the mains were exceptional and bursting with flavours, all the while highlighting the true flavours of the protein - the fish and beef were perfectly cooked. Dessert was fun and a mixture of flavours and textures, although our mint-chocolate macarons missed it's crispy exterior.<br/><br/>Service was efficient - although a little slow at the beginning. In addition, it felt quite 'clinical' and we missed the small talk and feedback from the service staff. Smart casual ambience. High-end prices, however as expected for fine-dining.<br/><br/>Overall, Dan Arnold puts the 'fine' in fine-dining.

Absolutely amazing experience! Louis was attentive and super friendly. Chef did all he could to accommodate our dietary requirements. The food was stunning in presentation and taste. Portions were a good size so as to walk away satisfied but not uncomfortably full. Bookings and dietary notifications are a must to assist the team for you. Dan Arnold is perfect for a date night or lunch. Thank you team for all you did for us today. We will return I’m sure

It was a quiet Saturday afternoon but everything was great! The waiter was incredibly nice, and the chef was too. The food was mostly seafood which were incredibly fresh. There was a lot of citrus flavours through the menu and it was delicious. Thanks!

Really Great Restaurant. Had the five plate degustation menu with matching wines. Out of the 5-6 degustation menus I’ve had probably in the top two. The duck and fish were standouts. All presented amazingly. Decor looks simple but fantastic food 5 stars
