Public - Brisbane - Photo album

Last year November Public relaunched with new owners, new GM and new menu (Peruvian fusion). The food itself was beautiful with lots of flavour. Every single dish we had was presented beautifully and tasted great. We tried the Peruvian style ceviche which was lovely, the scallops were perfect, the
The food was alright but a little overpriced for the portion. The Kentucky fried duck was $15 for a single piece (that’s $15 for one drumstick). I understand it’s fine dining but sometimes restaurants got to be real with what they’re serving. The wagyu brisket was quite average too for $39. Besides

Finally, I ordered the kingfish, cucumber and ants dish (come on, trying ants is too hard to miss!) and it didn’t d
Myself and my partner went to the Peruvian tapas night at Public and it was awesome! Especially loved the tuna wanton cones and the pisco sours were also great. Hopefully they will do it again at some point.
