We dined at Otto Brisbane recently using their BYO share menu. The food and the service were both fantastic. We were able to bring our own wine which they decanted for us twice before we arrived for dinner. They also catered for a person in our group who is Coeliac with their own gluten free menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My friend and I were walking around Brisbane starving and exhausted from a day of being a tourist. We saw this couple heading up this very steep escalator and we thought what the heck there must be something up there worth checking out! We found Otto at the top. You don't need to say what Otto is if you have ever been there but being the tourists from Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada we had no idea. They very sweetly asked if we had a reservation probably knowing we did not. We put the saddest expression on our faces and literally begged to be seated. We said we were starving and would be quick. We were seated. We ordered the lamb with a side salad between us. Strawberry dessert that was to die for. I am not a drinker but even their drinks menu enticed me into odering a whiskey basil which I can honestly say was delicious and probably the first time I have ever had whiskey. What I am trying to say is if you are ever in Brisbane and you want a fantastic meal in a stunning atmosphere and very agreeable well mannered staff you have to eat at Otto's. Thank you for taking pity on two hungry Canucks who will be forever in your debt.
Outstanding Restaurant, the food and service is second to none. We had several items off the menu and made sure we ordered plenty :) the bill was very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients and the outstanding flavour. The view and ambience where just a bonus to the simply amazing food. Hats off to the amazing staff at Otto they are world class and very talented in what they do. 5 stars � all the way
They changed their menu recently n no more duck gnocchi :( otherwise, everything is superb. I hope they won't remove the crab ravioli or the mushrooms risotto from the menu.
The degustation was a perfect way to try 8 different items on the menu. Every dish was nailed and the service was on point with friendliness, timeliness and knowledgable of the menu.

This restaurant deserves a 6 star rating. We recently celebrated a family dinner here and the experience was a memorable and delightful one. Beautiful restaurant, a well designed menu, outstanding food, great service and a warm ambience. It's the type of place where you're having such a great time, you don't realise how many hours has passed. Thank you Otto.
Had dinner here last night and oh my god it was amazing! Staff are lovely, the chef is a mastermind as the food was spectacular.

We dined in your semi-private room tonight to celebrate our wonderful friend’s birthday. We might’ve been loud and boisterous, but the staff were very patient and maintained an excellent level of service. Special mention to Stephen for being an absolute weapon!

One of the best restaurant in Brisbane. I went to their website and made an appointment, also noted that day was my partner’s birthday celebration. We were surprised how professional and great staff they have, at the front door, staff talked to us friendly, then took us to the reserved seat, the river view is stunning there. Every staff there all smile and well trained, they could introduce their food in detail, I love they know all the table manners and always keep an eye on us without pressure. The food were beautiful and delicious, in the end we received a birthday Choc cake❤️, also they customised my dessert for me, very thoughtful. We definitely will come back and bring our families and friends here, price wasn’t cheap, but we had great experience that night, it is worth what we paid.👍
We had the most brilliant dinner here with our friends from Melbourne last night and I have to say this is one of the most wonderful dining experiences I’ve had in brisbane. The whole experience was impeccable- the wait staff and sommelier were polished, but warm and friendly and fun. The seafood was 10/10 including the caviar. The wines were also phenomenal (the Soave rocked my world). To have this dining experience AND the beautiful view, I cannot recommend it enough.
Very classy restaurant, seated on the deck right on the water. Amazing view, very attentive wait staff. Menu was well explained and the seperate menus for vegan and vegetarian was a nice thought. Slightly expensive ($34 for 4 scallops) however that comes with fine dining and all the meals where very enjoyable
Had the most beautiful lunch here. The cocktails were beautifully presented and delicious. The location was really lovely right on the river as well. One of our group was a vegetarian and when asked about veggie options, we were provided an entirely separate veggie menu which was a really thoughtful touch. All the food was perfectly prepared and delicious.
Amazing food with a wonderful view. All waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The restaurant is at a prime location along the river with great views. Their duck meal is the best one ever.
Great service, food and drinks. & what a view of the Brisbane River, especially at sunset. I think it was $$$ even though reviews say $$, so not inexpensive. Quality food and wonderful view.

We stopped in for a refreshing drink and a light bite on Boxing Day after our traditional browsing in our favourite shops in the city. I enjoyed a Pilsner lager from Trieste and my wife had her favourite cider from Willy Smith. For a bite we chose the stuffed zucchini flowers and a mini focaccio with a cherry tomato and olive. The negroni menu was up there. It’s a splurge all right ($100 😂 per cocktail). In summary, great decor, high quality food and drink, with the option of stopping for a snack and drink or going all the way with several courses.
Fantastic food, great cocktails and a wonderful view. All waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Cocktails were well balanced. The restaurant is at a prime location along the river with great views. Only real criticism is that the pasta was quite undercooked.
