From the moment we walked in our night was made. Such a well presented, classy restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. And the food. I can't even put into words how good the food was.
10/10 will be going back here again.

My husband and I eat at Fiamme in Albion about once per month on average.
Tonight we had the fritti misto, followed by risotto and fish of the day washed down with a Pinot noir. The food was fresh, tasty well presented and filling. I remarked to my husband that the food is very consistent and that we had NEVER had a "dodgy" meal there.
The chefs have a lovely touch with the food, it's clear to see they love what they are doing.
The service is very friendly and professional also.

Traditional Italian, my father and I shared a salad a pizza and a steak. Every dish was spot on. Excellent service from the father of the owner who is the head chef and great selection of Grappa.

The zucchini and prawn lemon zest pizza with a white base, is hands down the best pizza I have had in Brisbane, so light, fresh and tasty. The prosciutto crudo and rucola pizza also very yummy. Lovely atmosphere, modern restaurant and friendly waitress. The owner/ chef made an effort to come around to all the tables to say hello and see how the meals were. Will be coming back to try more of the menu and will be telling all our friends. So excited to have visited this little gem!

First time in Brisbane for nearly 2 years . Due to the weather we had an extra day on the Saturday to finalize the week. Which turned out to be more than just a touch of luck. Dinner at this Italian Trattoria was excellent. The prawn starter was a work of art. wrapped in a web of fine pasta, The prawns were moist and absolutely moreish. The main course of Rabbit lasagna, a first for both my wife and I . But it was tender succulent, juicy and mouth watering there was no gamey after taste; just a smooth creamy finish which is what you would expect from a young but highly skilled chief. Obviously we will be back just to relive the moment and the deserts
Only been here once and it was really good. Wish there was better parking. We were the only people in the restaurant when we went. Very nice people, good food. I always forget about this place and go other places and then remember. They need some more advertising. It's a really nice setting and priced well. Would recommend and would return

Had the bad experience of Scoopon deal from Siam Square Thai on last Saturday night, the unbalance feeling was fully recovered by this restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch with Scoopon deal again. This time was the best (I mean my experience at Italian restaurant that I ever had). They really provide sincere and professional service. The high ceiling adds a lot of marks on the ambience. Needless to say, it was faultless on the dishes that we ordered. Freshly baked Bruschetta di pizza kick-started my appetite, the juicy tomato and prosciutto inside the bruschetta gave me lots of surprise. Spaghetti Al Sapore Del Mare (Seafood Spaghetti) was done with nice al dente pasta, which I could not find any difference with the best one that I had at 1889 Enoteca. The other main of Shiash pizza came with strong truffle aroma and the pizza was done even better than the one that I much appreciated at Majo (grease-free on your finger after you took out a slide to eat). Looked at the strand of cheese linked to the base of pizza while I lifted one slide up, I was totally indulged in enjoying this Sunday lunch. Thank you for the fantastic work from the whole team. You are the best!
Came here for my birthday dinner. Aperol spritz was delicious and other drinks fair price. Bruschetta good although very dense bread. Pizza was great, definite highlight. Ragu was disappointing, when it said slow braised with pasta I was imagining tender falling apart meat with fresh pasta such as tagliatelle, but it was meatballs with penne and whilst better than fasta pasta quality was nothing special. Tiramisu was nice, not great though. Pizza is clearly their strong point and overall it wasn't anything we'd return for.

The food is great, the drinks are good and the service is exceptional. Their wood fired pizza oven is impressive, and it makes great pizza.
Fiamme is also a great spot for functions (corporate, birthdays etc).
My husband and I really enjoyed our night at Fiamme. The food was lovely, service was good (and the restaurant was completely full plus we saw them doing take away orders) and the atmosphere in general was great! I had the veal involtini and my husband had the fish- both delicious! We had the Nutella pizza for dessert which was also yummy!!

Give me more. Best wood fired pizzas in town.. We ordered several pizzas to eat at home watching the Socceroos .. Can I just say that the staff are always friendly and food here is an addiction .. The Shiash is a must so is the Dom and also the Margarita.. Oh what the heck every freakin topping is great....Do yourself a favour and try it for yourself you'd be mad if you didn't ...
Excellent meal. We have been here several times before but then we had pizzas which were very nice.
Tonight I had the Linguini Al Sapori Del Mare and it was sensational. The flavours were so well balanced that it left me wishing the dish was bigger.
As always the service was very attentive and very friendly.
Looking forward to the next visit already and we haven't left the restaurant yet.
Oh yeah, the coffee is great also.
Authentic Italian. This is my most 'favouritist' local restaurant!! The food is always tasty (especially the pasta ragout), the service friendly and efficient without fawning, the atmosphere is modern and sleek and the prices are really reasonable. In a word - yum!

Hot and cold. A group of us dined there last night. Food was good and reasonably priced. The Osso Bucco was delicious. There is no doubting the pedigree of the chef but the kitchen was let down by the service. Get serious about the wine list guys. I would definitely eat there again but with different expectations.

Really would recommend for a nice meal out. Went there on a Thursday night, unsure what to expect.
The staff were extremely friendly. Even though there were a few tables they still managed to get around and make sure we were fine throughout the night, there weren't any points where we were waiting.
Food and drink were delicious. Not the cheapest around, but good value given the quality.
I'd definitely recommend.

First time eating here and had the wood fire pizza and am not disappointed. Service was great too. New local favorite.
We were walking past, looking for take-out and decided to try this new restaurant. I never eat pasta or Italian food as it is never to my satisfaction, but Marca was delicious! We went back a couple of days later for an eat-in meal; fantastic personalised service, divine food and excellent knowledge of the cuisine. Looking forward to dining again.
Used a voucher to dine at this restaurant last night. The waiter/chef made our dining experience such a joy! He was very kind and friendly, taught us some Italian when we trouble pronouncing the menu and all of his recommendations includes wine, main, dessert were absolutely awesome. We especially loved a hazelnut tiramisu. This Italian restaurant would be one of the best Italian restaurant in Brisbane! We will have to go back to try out other menu!

Great food and ambiance. My first time to Marca and I was so impressed with the overall look and feel of the restaurant. Tables dressed impeccably and candles lit making it feel so intimate. The wait staff were really friendly and super attentive. It was also great to see the chefs interacting with the patrons.
The food was fantastic. Presentation was great and the flavours were well balanced and above all, extremely delicious. The new menu has so many amazing choices, I found it difficult to choose. I will be back many times to make my way through the menu!
Definitely worth a visit. My first visit to Marca was for a function and we knew we had to come back. Generous and authentic food, good service and reasonably priced. What I also like is that it's one of those (rare) restaurants that goes to some effort to look inviting and of a better standard than the average byo. Shows you don't have to be pretentious or gimmicky to make "dining out" worthwhile.

If only we could all realise how good this Italian is. If only we could all realise how good we have it in brisbane. Restaurants of all types all serving a purpose and a significant role in our city and above all they all make up the rich tapestry of our society. I don't usually write on these blogs but on this occasion I think I feel the need to express my support for this fine eatery rather than slamming it like many of the comments i have read so far. I am a regular down at Marca's and I cannot reinforce enough how lucky we have it in Brisbane to have an alternate, modern and different Italian restaurant which highlights a modern predominantly southern Italian cuisine. Therefore not just pasta and definitely not just another Italian food shack. I was at Marca Saturday night and once again my wife and I were not disappointed. Unfortunately my wife suffers from allergies therefore she couldn't sample what the great menu has to offer however the friendly chef and floor staff we only to happy to accommodate us with another creative, flavousm and unique meal. I enjoy this lovely Italian eating establishment which is moderately priced and definately value for money. As an italian food lover who has travelled italy and the world over eating in some of the best Italian food establishments, Marca puts a defiant stamp on above average italian food in Brisbane. We do not realise how good we have it. I feel sorry for those who have provided negative feedback regarding Marca through this wonderful open forum however the negativite comments are shallow, unfounded and seriously unrealistic with respect to my several repeat experiences. It is obvious that we will not all share the same opinions and that we will not all share the same likes about food as we are all different and unique however our opinions need to be founded, constructive and within perspective. To the owners and managers well done and keep on providing us with those great culinary experiences that you so wonderfully create for us.
Great italian restaurant in brisbane. I have been to Marca a handful of times and have always found the experiences to be great - the food is always prepared fresh, in generous portions and with the highest service. The pasta is a no brainer with sicilian chefs in the kitchen (I recommend the gnocchi!) and the fish is always cooked impeccably and always fresh. If you are after a dimly lit dinner for 2 or a delicious dinner with a group of your bestest friends, with reasonable prices, you can't go wrong with the italian food from Marca.
Really great service! Went there on a Saturday night and meals came within 15 minutes. Meals are beautifully prepared and are served in very generous proportions.

Restaurant Marca amazing. Owner Carl is passionite about this place, as is the chef about food and delivering great service. Food I have never had like it - it is so flavoursome. You have to try yourself. My only complaint is I don't go more often.
Genuinely good homestyle Italian food. The squid ink risotto is absolutely to die for. It's my favourite dish at Marca, although there are so many great dishes to choose from. I've always found the service to be friendly and efficient.

Drivers...start your engines.. For one who does not eat Pasta, Bread or Rice, why do I keep going back to Restaurant Marca. Italian food is an experience. Like most of our foreign cultures in this country, food is about bringing loved ones together to the table. It's about the joy of food, sharing stories and laughter. Taking your time to experience the moment. The dozen or so times this year alone I have visited Restaurant Marca I have taken the time to do that. What an experience I have had each time. Never made to feel it is time to go because it is getting late. My favourite is the Barramundi in foil, I go back for it. The figs in gorganzola are a must when they are in season. My Italian guests where satisfied with the antipasto with lots of bread and more wine of course. But Italians do love their olive oil. Mussels and Rabbit also excellent. For me Italian food is not to be rushed, so take the time to enjoy it. (It isn't take away). As for the surrondings, well, yes it is noisy, but that is modern day dining. Then again, if you have been lucky enough to be invited to an Italians home, the dinner table is always noisy. Restaurant Marca you'll see us again. Thanks.

Went there yesterday and had the beat lunch I've had in a long long time. Had the anti pastor and I've never tasted anything like it. My wife and I will be taking the kids there in the next few weeks. They were great hosts who served great food. To make sure you have a good time ensure you take great people with you and the day will be complete.
Best place in Albion. Always a friendly welcome and great service combined with truly excellent food make this one of my most visited restaurants and it's a pleasure every time.

To die for. The atmosphere is chic and modern, the service is great, but the best part was the passion put into the food .... antipasto, as it should be, not the traditional ordinary cheese, olives and overpriced prosciutto, scallopina with beetroot sauce (who would have thought?!) and the passionfruit semifreddo that was to die for ..... I'm going back again and again and again. My friend had the risotto and pollo caciattorre (spelling?) .. I guess by the way she was mopping up the plate with bread she enjoyed it too ;)
