Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, excellent steaks, cooked to perfection. My partner sez the barrel beer was awesome as well, lovely weather, service all round, the best. Thanks Brekkie Creek, well worth the trip from the Goldie, will do this again in a weeks time when the Cousin gets here.🍺🍺
Great selection of both beers and wines. It's the steak range that separates this pub from the rest. Unrivalled steaks, seafood, and smoked meats will more than excite the most demanding carnivore. Highly recommended. Plenty of seating and relaxed atmosphere make this a must visit for visitors and local residents.
I can’t speak highly enough of the staff & their service tonight. We came in for our daughters birthday & had to bring our little 11 week old pup along to dinner, so we were booked in the pet friendly section but it ended up raining. All the staff were fantastic making sure we were comfortable & moved in out of the weather to a dry area even though we had our puppy. We have dined here before & always had a great experience but tonight everyone went above & beyond. Also, the meals were absolutely amazing! Always the greatest steak around. Thank you! �

We had oysters natural and mini eye fillet with Idaho potato and salad. Topped with garlic prawns it was all perfect. I’ve had meals there before about 45 yrs ago and re still good. Then we visited my daughters fav bar person in the private bar, Sue, it was great catching up. Thanks for a delightful afternoon along with the entertainment just perfect.
Visiting Brisbane and my son told me you get the best steaks at The Breakfast Creek Hotel. I can agree with him... A tender juicy steak with great sides. Prices between $33 - $48. Drinks are cold and the big screen is great to watch the winter Olympics on a humid Brissy day...

The Breakfast Creek Hotel located at 2 Kingsford Smith Drive at Albion is a French Renaissance style hotel with 5 bars including a Rum Bar, Steak House & Beer Garden.
Some of the highlights of this establishment is that it has Bar games, wonderful Cocktails, live sports & live music, it also has great bar foods available.
The Breakfast Creek Hotel has Wheelchair Accessibility Car parking, Wheelchair Accessibility entrances, Wheelchair seating & toilets are also on-site.
My wife & I had the pleasure of visiting this magnificent hotel this morning, enjoying a great cup of coffee from the coffee, dessert & pastry bar.
We then stayed for lunch to enjoy one of the hotels famous rump steaks that was so tender & cooked to what we ordered.
The Idaho potato & sour cream, along with the fresh salad made the meal taste even more delicious!
We were more than impressed with the cleanliness of this establishment & the wonderful Customer service that was provided by the staff at the Breakfast Creek Hotel.
The Breakfast Creek Hotel dates back to the 1889 & has been through 2 World Wars, numerous flooding, but has always stood the test of time.
One of the traditional things that people visiting the Breakfast Creek Hotel is to try a "Beer on the wood", you will not be disappointed.
This establishment is one of the major attractions in Brisbane & is also a fantastic meeting place for anyone wanting to enjoy the a great selection of fine wines, spirits & wonderful craft beers & beer on tap.
We can't wait to go back again in the very near future to once again enjoy a wonderful meal & a beer on the wood.
Was recommended to visit here for the steaks and now I know why. Really fantastic meat and portion sizes. Would love to go back and try other items on the menu another time. The garlic bread would have been enough for me to leave and feel satisfied.
One of our favourites. First reason, it is dog friendly. As soon as we are arrive, a bowl of water and a friendly face is right there. All of the meals we have had are delightful but I MUST MUST emphasise, if you are a steak lover, it is cooked precisely how you requested. Amazing steaks, you do not need the accompanying sauce, except of course to dip your chips in.
Easy to order at the table via app and the most tender eye fillet I've had in recent memory.
Open courtyard and fresh air outside. Great for a lunch. Plenty of parking right outside. No steps to get in and out. Great venue.
