I’ve only been for coffee but I like
the dude that makes it. He’s so lovely and always up for a bit of banter. Coffee is good considering he doesn’t have a controlled climate.

Best coffee in Brisbane! I can’t believe I’ve walked past it every day the past 3 months and hadn’t tried it! It’s got a beautiful flavour and was absolutely perfectly smooth. Nice touch bringing the coffee out on a tray and topping it off with glossy frothed milk too!

Now you could open a cafe in a location like this and just be mediocre and still survive, but these guys are many steps above that.

They have the perfect formula. Not only is the coffee fantastic and the food amazing (there’s always a selection of home-made treats), Brendon and the staff are always friendly. And of course there is the view. What a location! These guys are part of the fabric of Brisbane.

Great coffee. After a few great finds and many disappointments searching for good coffee around the city, I decided to try Brendon's coffee on my way over the Goodwill Bridge. The coffee was really good! I will definitely be back!!!

Diana. Have tried this cafe before when it had a different owner & was not impressed. Today I noticed a new owner Brendon so thought I would give it another try. Brendon is charming & he does quite a passable Merlo. Also there are some nice looking cakes there on display. Well worth a visit for the remarkable view

Cafe on the (Goodwill) Bridge. This may perhaps be the only place to eat in Brisbane that is on the water; at the first glance it seemed odd but come to think of it this is a magnificient idea. Part-way between South Bank and the Garden's Point campus of QUT stands a small cart in one of the bridge's stop off bays; it is almost right on the water. It such a convenience for commuting students and staff members and they do some of the best coffee for anywhere in Brisbane at such affordable prices.

Weather permitting, this is such a prime location. There are lovely views of both the Central Business District and the South Bank area. Everybody is a winner in that regard, including the barista - it is the King's throne of views and atmosphere. The coffee cart is decked out; along with the coffee maker there are little snacks available at the stall, along with a slushie machine and a toaster (if you are a QUT student, you get a free slice of toast with coffee - that is too good to argue) with condiments available. It is a bazaar that happens to take the form of a coffee cart.

The man who was tending the coffee cart when I went here was exceptionally friendly, laid-back and knew how to make a sale. This guy was pointing out all the aspects and he even had a dirty chai offer on the wall (usually something you have to explain and secretly order - I might do that next time). Even when I was walking back the other way from the campus he caught me and asked what I though - I said it was a great coffee, if this is open when I have business at Garden's Point I will certainly stop here for a drink.

I got myself a double-shot cappuccino and a muffin (there was a deal for that) - a chocolate one. It was small and because of that the guy offered me a couple of Chuppa-Chups to compensate.
It was with the first sip of this cappuccino that I knew I found one of the best coffee places, it was strong and flavourful with the milk well frothed. There was literally nothing wrong with it; I enjoyed every mouthful of this wonderful concoction. Then there was the muffin, this was also pretty good. The texture was soft and cakey, as the flavour was moist with a definite chocolate taste.

Before going here, I was thinking that I must try my way around the campus' (and nearby South Bank's if need be) coffee-houses when I return to study at university. However, that journey came abruptly to an end. This place is just too good to bypass.

Considering the amount of people who break-off from the pedestrain traffic to come here is an indication - if any - of both the quality and the ellure of this place. Whoever thought of setting up the stall here is one of a clever mind.

Never said this before... EVERYONE HERE SEEMS HAPPY! The photos speak for themselves. PS Food options not gr8, but it's not what this place is about. If I had this spot, I might offer sushi à la sushi sushi, but only the takeaway style and limited choices. Only an idea. Some excellent quality GF Florentines would go down well with most people here too.

Great pit stop for the early morning active person and coffee with the best view in Brisbane. Staff are always super friendly, fantastic service and great coffee. A variety of pastries and delicious goodies makes for a fantastic well earned treat once you’ve walked, run or cycled here. Highly recommend.

I had a great memory with Brendan’s coffee while I lived in South Bank, Brisbane. After jogging in the morning, I loved drinking cup of cappuccino sometimes eating hand made cakes. I highly recommended lemon cheese cake. 😄😄 Remembered nice river view and bright morning sun, kind and stylish person Brendan, top of cappuccino like bread and yummy cakes.

Excellent customer service and excellent coffee too. Fast service with a smile. Nice range of food, cakes, croissants, and cookies. Very popular with cyclists. That’s always a good sign. And best of all best views of Brisbane river and CBD.

Visited Brendans Cafe this morning with my wife and ordered 2 almond milk latte’s. I must, the coffee was sensational, only trumped (this word has many meanings now) by the great personal service. Well done guys.

Nestled in the side of the bustling Goodwill Bridge, this cafe arguably has the best views in Brisbane. The staff are the most friendly you’ll find, and the coffee is great. The quality of the view and coffee is also the cause of the cafe’s only weakness: it gets extremely busy, and it’s not uncommon to have to wait 15 minutes for a coffee. The wait time is absolutely worth it if you’re looking for a relaxing morning of fresh air, but for cyclists like me who want to stop halfway through their ride for a chat, caffeine, and a rest, and then get back on the bike, I find the wait time painfully long. It’s nonetheless still my favourite spot - I’m just being picky. This is such a great place, I’d like to see them extend their hours into the early evening - often on my commute home I’d love to stop and watch the sunset with a drink, but this place is always closed.

Good CBD end of bike ride stop. Right on the Goodwill Bridge so convenient for Botanic Gardens and Southbank. Great coffee served by very friendly and helpful staff. Worth It just for the view over the river and city. Bike crowd thins out after 8.

If you find yourself feeling a bit low, take a gentle walk across the Goodwill Bridge on a windless gorgeous Brisbane day, and stop @ Brendan's Cafe for a coffee and a treat. This place is a wonderful tonic for the soul, and their excellent customer service is as wonderful as the stunning views. I guarantee you will be back with friends in tow! This place is special and very unique.
