I have visited this restaurant multiple times and the service is always very quick, the food is delicious, the drinks are amazing, and the decor is entertaining. Though there's usually a line up to get in, the wait is worth it for the food. Staff are friendly and very organised and I will continue to eat here.

Like Kinn Thai at Garden City, with similar Menus, we like dining here. We took Mum here for a Thai lunch a fortnight ago and being the School Holiday period, we were lucky to get a table. Being familiar with the Menu, we quickly placed our lunch order. Phuong Tran’s Mai Tai arrived promptly and she loves this refreshing Cocktail.
*Soft Shell Crab Papaya Salad is freshly prepared and the Crab is piping hot. An excellent entree rating 4.5
*Massaman Lamb Shank is served with a delicious Massaman sauce and mashed potatoes. This is my favourite dish and it rates a perfect 5.0
*Red Curry Duck looks appetising with six slices of breast Fillet in a tasty Curry gravy. The serving is a tad disappointing for $28. Rating: 4
Service is fast and wait staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are generally quite reasonable and we always leave smiling. Thank you guys!
I have been looking forward to trying Kinn+Derm for so long! The Kinn chain (Canberra Centre in particular) is a favourite of mine and Chermside didn't disappoint. Service was quick and pleasant, the decor is so beautiful and matches the Asian fusion vibe so well. BYO wine for $3 pp is great and a really good list of reasonably priced cocktails. Starters we had the coconut crab meat cup which was very interesting! Nice and sweet, fresh crab meat - good for something different. The cripsy eggplant is amazing, the same between locations incredibly cripsy in the most delicious sauce. The crab and prawn spring rolls were pretty good, a little too oily. The best pad siew I've had in a long time, lots of large prawns (that weren't overcooked!), great sauce and good portion size (easily does 2 meals aka leftovers yay). No split bills which was a bit inconvenient, regardless I'd still would definitely recommend and will be returning... regularly
This place is a VISUAL. And the food? Amazing. There were lots of people so booking is recommended. Their ribs is the best 👌🏽 I just wish there’s mo dessert choices.
It’s a pretty good restaurant located at outdoor dining precinct of Westfield Chermside which has a lovely view. The interior and decor were so stylish and something that us millennials would love.
I tried the beef Pad Thai and Crabs Prawn Roll during lunch time which gave me cheaper price. The pad thai was good, a classic pad thai flavour that could not go wrong. The portion was also good enough, not too big nor small. The crab prawn rolls were quite tasty, crunchy savoury rolls with the dipping sauce which gave sweet-sour flavour that was quite refreshing. Well, I could not try the other dishes as the prices were quite steep in here. Keen to try more menus next time!
Really good thai food! The duck pancakes had great flavour, though the duck was a touch dry. Do not go past the scallop entree - perfect amount of zest and chilli. For my main I had the red duck curry. Flavour was there, perfect heat and sweetness. Wouldve been great with a bit more veges and wish they served coconut rice! Would go back!
It was a pretty good experience dining at Kinn+Derm , everyone loved it , the best part was the neat and subtle presentation. I however found the food to be too sweet for my palate . Staff was friendly n cooperative. Good job guys , thanks 👍,

Went here with the partner for dinner during a hectic pre-Christmas late-night shopping trip.
There is a great cocktail list available.
We tried the 'Favourite Set' (minimum of two people, at $37 each), which included:
- Seared Scallop: delicately cooked with a spicy lime dressing.
- Chicken Satay: delicious peanut marinade.
- Chiang Mai Gyoza: nice soup, although the dumpling wrapper was a bit too soggy.
- Massamun Beef: a definite highlight; the beef was very tender with a rich coconut flavour.
- Chilli Jam Crispy Pork: just as advertised, crispy pork with a sweet and spicy sauce.
- Grilled Chicken: the chicken was quite succulent, however the tamarind sauce was a little too salty.
- Stir-fried Green Veges: lovely and simple.
- Steamed Rice
Service was a little slow, albeit it was quite busy night. The staff were quite friendly though. Casual ambience with lots of bright colours and mood lighting. Reasonable pricing - one bill per table; $5 discount if paying by cash.
Overall, a great popular Thai restaurant within the Chermside shopping precinct.
Been here a handful of times and I’ve never been disappointed with any item on the menu. My favourites are the crab with chilli jam sauce, the red curry duck, and the massaman lamb shank. Always my go to when I’m in Chermside. Whoever created the menu is on the ball!, same menu as Pochana in the city and Kinn Thai at Garden City, great selection.
I will start by giving thumbs up for the interior of this restaurant, I like the vibe. The foods are delicious although the portion of the foods not big enough as the price, But I assume that’s not a big deal because of the foods are totally delicious
Excellent food and service. Been back a few times now and everytime it's been amazing. Highly recommend going here and sharing food with friends and family.

This place is delicious. Wonderful, large assortment of authentic thai dishes all boasting tons of flavour. I’m a vegetarian and had the vegetable pad thai, it was the best thai meal i have ever had. Amazingly flavoursome, crispy and fresh, and texture was perfect. It is a little on the pricey side and i feel as though costs could be slightly reduced. $18 for a vege pad thai is quite steep. The quality did not disappoint though, and service is excellent also!! Thank you!
Great tasty Thai food in the dining hub of Westfield Chermside. A little more expensive than your normal Thai local however that’s expected with these locations. Can definitely recommend for a pre-movie feed.
Best food ever! Wish I had room in my tummy to try everything on the menu. Especially love the pork belly. It’s authentic Thai food that kicks a&&.
I've been here a few times now and had the soft shell crab and papaya salad, which is fabulous! Totally recommend this place, I think there's also a restaurant at garden city.
Beautiful tasty food. The gyoza is a must try! Chicken satay was very tasty. Prawn betel leaf packed a punch of flavour. Was short for time so will be back to try more.
Yum! Food was great - especially the duck curry. It had so much depth and flavour. The restaurant is massive and really colourful and modern. Definitely recommend eating here. The food is more expensive than traditional Thai restaurants but it’s of high standard!

I recently decided to take my visiting interstate relatives to Kinn + Derm for a family dinner. It was also my first time eating at the restaurant and it did not disappoint! Our table ordered a number of dishes to share including:
Chicken satay (8 skewers) - the peanut sauce was excellent, these were a favourite among the table
Crispy eggplant sticks - the batter was crispy and very tasty (another favourite!)
Wild barramundi black bean - this appeared to be a healthier alternative, the fish was cooked beautifully but it was not overly flavoursome
Pad see-ew chicken - a welcome addition to what is quite a modern menu, was delicious and enjoyed by all
Thai fried rice with chicken - a classic done well
Red angel cocktail - this is ideal for those who love sugary cocktails, tastes exactly like a slush puppie!
It is a very diverse menu with both classic and modern Thai dishes. However, vegetarian options were lacking. I had a little bit of difficulty explaining my tree nut allergy to the staff but they were as friendly and helpful as possible. The decor is also quite exciting and overall I would recommend Kinn + Derm.
While shopping at westfield we stopped by this place for lunch and was pretty impressed with thr food. The crispy egg plant was amazing and the thai green curry spot on. Service was also great. Only feed back i could give was the bowls where a strange shape, looks good but not practical for eating a rice and curry dish. It kept tilting , almost spilling due to the shape. But thats a small thing, the food was great.
I thought this was really good. It's not the greatest Thai food I've ever had - that said, it's right up there. I had the holy basil beef which was sensational. Other dishes were very tasty. The setting is also really enjoyable, with a lot of attention paid to detail in the menus and decor. Service is friendly and efficient without being five-star.
Best thai ive has in australia (not including trendy fusion places) would definitely recommend! The calamari and whole fish are just amazing!
Excellent, attentive service. Delicious food with decent serving sizes. Funky and comfortable decor. A little bit loud but we could still have a decent conversation. I’m definitely dining there again.
Food is really good!! Amazing atmosphere and the drinks are a must! The only con is how expensive everything is, aside from that it's a good place to get delicious cocktails and yummy Thai food!

Our favourite Thai restaurant franchise finally comes to Chermside, and we couldn't be happier. It's probably the best of the four Kinn restaurants in Brisbane, and the other three are already top notch. Well done guys!

This place is a must. Credit to the team there for their magnificent service to the most beautiful food. Such a great atmosphere. Love the look of the restaurant too.
They have a great array of cocktails ranging from about $14. The food is just beautiful. From tender chicken satay sticks with a sticky peanut sauce. To a crispy duck pancake which was executed beautifully.
The stand out dish was the steamed barramundi in a black bean sauce. It was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth.
The Massamun lamb shank curry is also a must try.
A very enjoyable dinner. I will definitely be back

Food comes out quite fast and the staff are extremely attentive. We had for entree: the scallops and oysters along with the kingfish- all delicious. For mains we had the crispy pork belly, crab fried rice and the soft shell crab (so, so good). Fab cocktail and wines list, great for date night. Very exciting to have this as a good option on the Northside! We will definitely be back.
