Positively fantastic experience at this little gem of a venue that happens to be only 5 minutes down the road from us but we never knew existed until today. Definitely our new local for an evening out & so close to home..........or a cheeky takeaway pizza on a lazy night in. Food was simply perfection; wine list & tap beer offerings to match; service attentive, interactive & on point. No need to travel into the cbd or valley when you have places like this in the burbs. We recently held our wedding reception at Factory 51 and WOW! The room looked spectacular, the food was amazing, and the evening ran like clockwork. They went above and beyond to ensure the day was perfect, nothing was too much trouble, and our guests noticed and commented how engaged and attentive the staff were (especially behind the bar!)
Matt was a total professional in the lead-up, answering our multitude of questions quickly, and put us at ease during periods of confusion and indecision.
My husband and I had the most amazing evening, we cannot recommend Factory 51 highly enough!
My fiancé and I had our engagement party here over the weekend and are blown away by how amazing our experience was! Matt helped up organise the evening by setting up decorations and getting the room ready for us so we basically just had to turn up and have a good time! The bar and wait staff did a fantastic job, making sure all our guests were fed and regularly walking around cleaning up empty glasses and general rubbish. The finger food was delicious and our guests were raving all night about how nice everything was. 5/5 easily and would highly recommend anybody having an event to book here!
Loved this place. It’s the full package - tasty meals plated up beautifully, excellent service & lovely venue. The homemade ice-cream is delicious. Extensive menu. Can recommend the baked camembert and gnocchi.

On Sunday we had my daughters 16th birthday lunch at Factory 51. They were brilliant. Without requesting they had set up a separate area that allowed the girls to have a wonderful private party. Josh and the other staff made the day by being so attentive and accommodating. I can't rate it highly enough. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
I am so impressed with the function room at Factory 51. I used the room on to host a hair show for my work. The function room was visually spectacular. Staff on the night were so accommodating and a particular mention to Matt who was so helpful from start to finish and nothing was too much to ask. The entire experience was wonderful and I will definitely use the venue again.

Beers and pizza, what a combination and Factory 51 does it very well. One and only hick up was the side dish was slightly dry but all in all the food was great and the beers were cold
We turned up at 6pm on a Saturday night without a reservation & agreed to fit us in if we left before 7 which we were happy to do. Food, service & atmosphere were great. We will definitely be back.

I cant tell you how good this place is ! The food is very good and well priced for a great product . We have been back 3 times recently for the range of beers and quality wine but tonight it was the outstanding service that had us and will bring us back again and again. Hospitality is a hard gig but I spent the night looking around and noticing the staff , mainly because they were so efficient but also because of the genuine smiles on their faces.It says something when the staff seem so happy to be at work . Josh our waiter was just exceptional . I was thinking he is the guy that I would want working for me (if I had a venue) Great care, attention to detail and engagement on what was surely a very busy night. There is a lot of competition these days and everyone tries hard but not many really get there consistently - Factory 51 absolutely does. Josh has that something special , that genuine will to want to provide quality service . Well done to whoever employed him( and the other staff too) You are on winners there for sure . Excellent job on all fronts Factory 51 !
High end dining, middle of the road prices.
The service was on point. We had a tour of the function room, perfect for an intimate wedding of up to 150 guests. The $10,000.00 chandelier center piece really lit up the room and sets a beautiful romantic tone to the room.

Great pizzas and an awesome atmosphere to sit around with friends and enjoy some drinks and food. Mushroom arancini balls awesome - wasn’t the biggest fan of the beef (a bit dry for me). Baked Camembert was delish. All the pizzas were great. Compliments to wait staff who also did a great job and made sure we had an awesome night.
Really nice restaurant with a relaxed vibe. The woodfired pizzas are excellent. It is a popular spot for after work drinks and tapas. Great for families as well as date nights.
Good ambience. Nice food, pizza and pork were good. They make their own ice cream. Creme Brûlée was too sweet and top was thick like toffee. Small fault in and otherwise great local place.
Good atmosphere, above average food and excellent wait staff, the meatball pizza was quite nice as well as the arancini balls, my table also had the gnocchi appetiser which where in my opinion just "ok". My desert was the Cremé Brulee, it came with a side of toffee flavoured icecream which rounded off the whole thing quite nicely. Parking however is a nightmare, if Coles is full I would imagine you would have to walk quite some distance to the restaurant.
I had dinner here with a work colleague around 7pm on a friday night. The place was busy and buzzling with good vibes. I especially enjoyed the.warm atmosphere and open style kitchen plan. We ordered the baked camembert, chicken with rocket pecorino salad and truffle & speck oven fired pizza. I especially enjoyed the salad, as it was very refreshing and complemented the perfectly cooked chicken very well. The pizza was also very tasty. The camembert was nice. However, I felt the drizzling of the honey onto the biscuits abit messy to eat. Would highly recommend this place for a local date night. Service was great.
Had an impromptu dinner with my three sisters here last night. Service was great with timely ordering and delivery of the food & drinks. The staff were also very friendly and helpful especially the female waitperson who was working her first shift. The food was exactly as it was described on the menu. We had the char grilled tenderloin and rump eye which were generously portioned and exactly as we had ordered rare/medium rare/ and medium. The sides were very tasty and well priced. I will be venturing back soon with hubby in tow.
What a great local find. We have been here twice and had great experiences both times. Staff are so friendly and accommodating - it really does have a fantastic vibe. Off Old Cleveland Road in Cooparoo is a restaurant slash function space. I came were with a group of friends on a Sunday night. It's a gorgeous venue, the red exposed brick, the woodfire oven on show, it feels like it's good for group dinners or a cosy date night.
Food was pretty good to okay. The brisket was well cooked and pulled apart with ease. The chipotle adobo ketchup was tasty AF. Pizza was cooked to order, the woodfire oven is a good investment. The standout was the truffle aioli that came with the arancini balls.
The pan fried gnocchi was disappointing. There were inconsistencies with the pan frying some was just right, others overcooked/dry and the dish needed more moisture. Pancetta was crisp and the pecorino added flavour.
My biggest criticism is that food presentation could be improved, especially in desserts. My ice cream sundae was particularly lacklustre (two ice cream scoops, melted white chocolate and a 'crumb') and the plate up of the brownie needs refinement (piping, jagged cutting of the brownie). Overall, the presentation doesn't quite match the gorgeous venue.
This place is a much needed addition to this area. I'd come here if I wanted a fun dinner with friends on the southside and you want a decent feed.

Best pizzas I've had in Brisbane for a long time.
I have been in the cafe/restaurant business since 1998 and this is the first review I have ever written. I came here tonight to catch up with my best friend who was visiting from Victoria along with a few brisbane folk. None of us had been here before, but believe me we will all be back. The pizzas were absolutely amazing!!! The bases were perfect and the toppings were just as they should be. The staff were very well informed on not only the food but also the drinks and seemed very happy to be working there.
Whoever owns Factory 51, you should be very proud and I wish you much success!
My partner and I went here for dinner on Saturday night. What a gorgeous little building! We ordered the Arancini balls and the pork and mushroom pizza. Arancini balls were really yummy and the pizza had so much flavour which was great, just a little bit soggy in the middle from the juices. Desserts were good... They are not a dessert place so what they served were nice given this fact. The only real downside was how close were to everyone else's table. They had put about 5 tables for two in a very small section so I almost sat on the lady next to me when I got up. I wouldn't mind going back to try more things on the menu but maybe with a group so we get a little more room
Went here for a midweek dinner- it is a pretty cool venue with awesome industrial decor. The evening started well- it was quiet, service was friendly and professional, and fantastic, fresh and fabulous tasting food arrived quickly (best arancini in the world!) However as the place packed out and got noisy the waitress got really short tempered, service was slow and the food, although pretty good took ages to arrive and wasn't amazing. Not sure if they planned on being this busy. Definitely deserving of a recommendation and I will eat here again, but probably when it won't be so crowded.

This place is a gem. Just what Coorparoo needed. Spectacularly good craft beer options on tap, fresh & delicious food and very friendly/attentive staff. Been back twice in the last couple of weeks and will be making it a regular.
Awesome, trendy, great service, the best wood fired pizza & freshest seafood around. You can tell the owner knows good food & wines to match. Will definitely be back & we've even decided to book their function room for our staff Christmas party.

It was a rainy evening and there was a wedding also at the venue. We thought to ourselves that the service might be pretty slow on such an evening
We were very wrong. The service was fantastic. Quick, friendly and efficient.
We tucked into a variety of share plates to begin with. They were all delicious. Charcuterie platter was a standout.
The mains consisted of a couple of Pizzas, the snapper, steak ( cooked exactly how I asked for it ) and the pork belly. No complaints from anyone.
This is a must try. We will be back

Went here on a Wednesday night, moderately busy, no issue with service everyone was really friendly. Fries with aioli were good, calamari was yum and prosciutto pizza was tasty too. Enjoyed everything and the decor is quite nice too! Will be back to try the other pizzas!
Causal locating dinning in Cooparoo but yet taking me back it Italy, very fresh pizzas and wholesome food options, appears they have a function facility out the back also. Crafts beers and all the normal ones in bottles. Food is great, venue is very cool. Great to be local and see business owners investing.. I will return

When did this happen? Coorparoo has been screaming for a place like this! Really cool venue, great atmosphere and an awesome range of craft beers on tap. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing! Share plates, wood fired pizzas and heaps of options from the grill. Good job guys and can't wait to come back!

Even on a Sunday night the restaurant was packed, which was a surprise but it is very popular! Staff were friendly and helpful and the pizzas were great. Fresh ingredients and authentic Italian taste. Will definitely be going back again!
It was surprisingly busy for a very wet Brisbane night in Sunday 19 June 2016. Despite flooding just a short way down the road which saw a half baked pizza delivery driver slam into the water and stall his car and the manager of the restaurant rescuing him, we were promptly offered a table. We found the service to be very good. Drinks were taken in an appropriate time for consideration and delivered promptly. Food orders were taken when we indicated we were ready. Entrees (Sweet Potato Woodfired Fries with Aioli and Baked Camembert Board) arrived about 10 minutes after ordering and were above average in taste. About 15 minutes after these were delivered the mains arrived. We had the Salami and Chilli pizza (very good), the Potato pizza (also very good), the Eggplant pizza (excellent) and the Reef snapper (average to above average). We enjoyed it and will be back. We found staff very friendly and helpful.
