The place is small, but it has several flavors of ice cream, you can also add nuts or candy for an extra 1 dollar. In addition, you have the option of ordering your ice cream in a cup, normal cone, chocolate cone or cone with colored sparks.
They have a couple of vegan options, such as "triple chocolate" or the typical fruit sorbets.
In case you don't want to eat ice cream, they have shakes, for example milkshake (2 scoops), thick shake (3 scoops) and super shake (4 scoops).
My ice cream was delicious however my partner got a hair in his ice cream :(

I just had a caramel milkshake here and it was absolutely lovely, flavour came through really well. My friend got a honeycomb and cookie dough cup and says it is very good. The serving sizes are very large, one scoop is like three scoops big.

Used to be my favourite spot of after dinner. Unfortunately they have changed, you are no long able to get testers of the new flavours. Being able to try flavours before deciding is a big part of the experience.
I would of loved to have tried a new flavour last night but rather then risk it we all had to just go with what we new.
Please change the policy.

Love the gelato from this place. First tried it about 20 years ago and I keep coming back. So many flavours - coffee, salty caramel, pistachio and cappuccino are among my favourites but there are many other greats, maybe around 25 or 30., Generous serves and good service.

Ice cream was pretty good. Was a little disappointed that they did not have all the flavors from their website available in-store. Specifically, the frosted cinnamon scroll wasn't an option when I went. Also, the lady serving did not seem like she wanted to be there - visibly bored and unenthusiastic.

I bought a cone of one mango flovour and it costed me $5.9 but the amount of ice cream is extremely small, not even one scoop. I didn't take a picture. It is very small portion less than an ice cream cone of MacDonald. I am not sure if it is because staff skill in scooping ice cream. This makes me feel getting rip off.

Aside from the actual Gelato which was delicious, the staff are extremely rude. Visited this afternoon and was highly put off by the customer service. Young, disrespectful females on the afternoon shift. It doesn't cost anything to greet a customer or even pretend to like your job. Management should look into this - there's a lot of dessert options elsewhere.

Hi team. I came to your shop on Wednesday avo 1.30pm wanting a thick shake. There was a blonde female with glasses .. i asked her can i pls get a thick thick shake she sais what i can have for 6.70 or so. I was aware you dont accept part payments (cash + card). So i gave her my card . She asked if pay waive. I prefer not to use pay waive ans i said its CHEQUING a account. I had entered my pin. Unfortunately she had selected the wrong account- she slectes savings account. Shae said their eftpos terminal freezed. Then asked me if i have spare coins i said no.. at the end i didnt get my drink and she saiid sorry i need to go out and get some money to pay .
I had 15mins of a break to dash over to your shop to get a drink and get back my 15mins was gone and i was told to go get some money so i can pay for the drink!!
Sorry but im not at all happy qith the service i received. Ive come here a few times and the staff is awsome but the lady i got wasnt at all nice. Ar the end of the day i disnt get my drink and i was told to go get the money out when clearly i knew you guys wont accept part payments.

I'm only giving one star to the tasty ice cream they have but will not definitly go back. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE. I wanted to pay cash and my boyfriend card but they didn't aloud me to this time but usually they do it for me. Normally in any store, if you wanna pay card I can understand they have 50 cent to pay per transaction BUT THEY HAVE NO FEES TO PAY WHEN IT'S CASH. The oldest asian lady that usually worked there with the 2 Australian girls keep arguing with me that no they can't when they just don't know how to do it. Even it's 3,50$ (with coupon) each ice cream but it stills my right to pay CARD AND CASH for 2 people. They didn't even said sorry to us they keep arguing with us. Never go there if you expect their people to treat you well !!!

Came here for a bit of late night dessert with friends, I wasn’t feeling gelato, so I ordered a milkshake made with chocolate gelato! It was really creamy and hit the spot. I’m not the biggest dessert fan but I would definitely come back here and order the exact same thing if in the mood. Staff are incredibly kind and patient, enjoy 😊

A very large variety of different flavours available - so hard to choose! I ended up having the s’mores ice cream, which was delicious, creamy and decadent. A bit pricey but the scoops are of a decent size.

Every time that I go there I get confused which taste to choose as they have a wast variety of choices and all of them look very tempting. Every time I go with two scoops to have the chance of trying most of the tastes. Highly recommended

Amazing selection of unique flavours. Service is a bit lacking but not too bothered because the ice creams are amazing. I had the green tea and hubby had his fav mint. We used the entertainment book which made it taste even yummier!!! Two for one baby!. Great location. Infact too convenient for yummy icecream.

Been visiting Gelatissimo for several years now and we're never disappointed when we leave. The flavours are unique, creative and downright delicious. The gelato is always creamy, smooth and not too sweet. Love trying out the seasonal flavours as they are always a winner! Live and Let Dough & Very Berry Cheesecake are my favourite flavours - can't go wrong with these two.

A simple misdeamour red velvet (cake pieces in smooth cream cheese gelato) became a gateway to full blown felony malted madness (choc malt gelato with crunchy choc malt balls). Gelatissimo is a favorite of mine and my wife's. We always seem to end up here when we come into the city after shopping or dinner. The available flavours and combinations of gelato and sorbets can satisfy any palette, and they don't make a bad coffee either. <br/><br/>The great thing about Gelatissimo is nothing they make tastes artificial, and the available allergen information is really useful for those that need it. Pricing is reasonable and service is usually very quick unless there is a crowd, but the amount of people waiting to be served is more testament to the quality of product Gelatissimo creates.

After dinner my partner ask me for a gelato and since we hadn't been to Gelatissimo in a long time (we used to come here almost once a week when we lived at queen st) we agree to give it a try.<br/><br/>This time there were plenty of flavour that I don't recollect seeing before and also all the classics that you could expect.<br/><br/>I decide on the Passionfruit and my partner goes for 2 flavours, Coconut, and Raisin n Rum.<br/><br/>Despite all our choices been way sweeter than we would have liked we still managed to enjoy most of them.<br/><br/>The Passionfruit was tangy and zesty with plenty of seeds giving it some crunchiness, the gelato was creamy and smooth but I did feel some small ice crystals in it. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.<br/><br/>The Rum n Raisins was probably the sweetest from our options, I did not get any raisins but I only got s small spoon out of it so maybe there were some on it but I can't be sure, there was a bit of rum flavour to it but not enough for my liking. I would rate it a 2.5 or 3 out of 5.<br/><br/>The Coconut gelato was the creamiest one, it was again too sweet but the fatness from the coconut kinda helped to go through it. Would rate it a 3.5 out of 5.<br/><br/>Overall this place has been here for a long time and you can find huge queues during summer, but it's s bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion.

Smooth sweet and pleasantly dense like a good gelato should be. Big portions and fair prices. Eftpos allowed for one scoop is great. Gelato can be a bit rich so bring a big appetite and a sweet tooth! I sure did. Awesome family spot placed well on Queen St. Can't miss it. The scent of freshly mixed gelato wafts through the air drawing you in.

Last night me and my friend came here for some light dessert. We had really fun night but after went this shop all our feelings down. We went to this shop at 10pm, but the white girl staff here really rude. Extremely rude. We stand and choose flavour, she even cant smile with us. We we give order, she still like " what, what???, what u want have". I even repeat for her 3 times and she turn back her head and laughing with other worker. Maybe she think me and my friend stupid or something like that. I think, if she doesnt want to work, should leave it and go home. We pay money for ice cream, she should at least receive nice service. Me and my friends and more lot of friends wont come back any more... So disappointed

Although I think that their gelato is very good and better than most places in the CBD I have to express my disappointment and the sheer stinginess I have experienced from this store. For $6.90 for two scoops I would expect a bit more than two little small half scoops... a bit of a rip off, unfortunately.

So exciting to try this ice cream because of the crowdedness. I tried their ice cream cone with 3 different flavours, green tea, belgian chocolate and pistachio. I like their belgian chocolate. The ice cream is so smooth and easy to melt, be careful and don't forget to take some tissues from the shop hehe. <br/><br/>Will be back there for buy another flavours of ice cream but maybe i will prefer to choose the cup one rather than cone.

Some of the nicest gelato i've had. They have a wide range of gelatos and ice creams, including sugar free, dairy free, nut free and gluten free chocolate sorbet which is great for those with allergies or who are trying to cut down on sugar intake. The customer service can be a bit iffy at times, but usually thats when it's most busy and the employees are stressing out. Overall, a lovely little desert place in the heart of the CBD

We didn't finish two scoops because the flavors tasted quite artificial - definitely not as nice as a one litre tub that costs ten dollars arty Coles or Woolies. Next time were in the city cruising for 'cream we'll head somewhere else.

UGH.. Was charged 10 cents for an extra cup for my dripping cone. Now, I know 10 cents isn't much money but after spending a small fortune on gelati ... charging a customer an extra 10 cents a little ridiculous in my opinion.
