Hubby, myself and an old friend hit the road for Friday lunch. We chose this café, as it has nice river views. It is a large, open space with lots of windows and light, and most tables overlook the tiny beach and the river. Service was prompt and efficient, if not overly warm. But it was lunchtime so a busy time for them. We ordered at the counter though you can also order via the QR code at your table. Hubby drank ginger beer, the friend had coffee and I had a beetroot, ginger and apple drink. The coffee was fine, and our drinks came out of bottles so were … fine. I chose fish and chips. They were delicious. The tender, white fleshed fish had a panko breadcrumb coating, so it was crisp and golden and beautiful. A small salad came with it, and a generous serve of tartare sauce and lots of crispy chips. I was happy. The hubby had sweetcorn fritters with salsa and mayo, and was super happy. He also indulged in a bowl of chips with aioli. So often ‘fritters’ are actually pancake batter with a bit of veg, but these happily were real fritters – i.e. veg with a bit of batter to hold them together. Excellent. The friend ate the quinoa salad, which he felt was a bit overpriced. He had two poached eggs with it. I’m glad I chose the fish and chips instead, ‘cos it was delicious! All up, a pleasant and delicious lunch was had by all. (P.S. But please get better forks!)

Lovely food, great service. Our server was Axel who was most helpful, very receptive to feedback on the Grayza app which the restaurant uses to take orders and accept payment. Lovely location on the river.

Love this place. Great food at reasonable prices. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a "Schitts Creek" lunch dressed in honour of Moira Rose. Next time we plan to do Moira cocktails.

Had a lovely lunch in the Café today, menu had sufficient choices to keep us happy and service was friendly, but slow due to the place being very busy. The cafe is right on the river and very easily accessible by car or ferry. Parking is no problem, it's only a short walk from the Eat Street carpark. Definitely recommended.

I booked the bottomless brunch here for 32 ladies. It was awesome. Elke and Axel looked after us for the morning. Their service was the best and the food was delicious. Such great value for money too, with the mimosas constantly flowing. Thanks for having us, I'll be back for sure!

A great Saturday morning tucked away from the cold wind watching the St Margaret’s girls rowing on the river, the passers by walking their dogs and the ferry’s come and go. The cafe is a great set up and has a good menu. Be prepared for a wait on your coffee at peak times like us, a long line up for takeaway made it extra busy. Our breakfast was hot, coffee tasted great and the service was with a smile.

Gave a mate a ride to a local business and needed somewhere to plant myself for about four hours. I have been here several times and have always been pleased with the service, atmosphere, and the food. Today was no exception. Staff were happy for me to occupy for most of the midday service time.while I enjoyed a meal and a coffee. I would definitely recommend thIs place for a great view and good food, and I will definitely return again. Cheers and thanks for your hospitality, appreciated

Such a beautiful spot, with amazing service & incredible food. Elke & Axel were brilliant. We had a large group and the were super fast, friendly & the food came out very promptly, especially considering how many of us there were and how many variations we ordered. Definitely head there again soon!
