Just went to a cooking class at Mu'ooz and it was excellent! The food, company, instruction, stories and setting were spot on. We made a vego dish, plus a meat dish, plus enjera (flat bread) plus had salad, another veg dish, popcorn and fresh coffee. I don't eat meat or drink coffee but there was no shoratge of food to eat! AND I won this experience in a raffle! Definitely worth giving as a prize or present for others or going yourself! Great food and a lovely experience!
Curries were delicious, staff were friendly. It was good to see them go to so much effort to have lots of gluten free options, especially the gluten free and vegan dessert, as it's so rare for me to be able to get dessert anywhere.
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful staff. I am inspired with the concept of teaching and employing refugee women, the stories shared are an absolute inspiration.
Birthday dinner for a group of 40 people. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accomodating, went out of their way to make the evening great for everyone and easy to organise. Share plate option was really delicious, I'm looking forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu
Staff and food were awesome. None of us had eaten African food before so we got a banquet meal to try out. Everything was fantastic.
Have eaten here a number of times and always left feeling happy. Great food, super friendly service and always food options for our fussy kids. I’ve also been to a cooking class here, which was a lovely afternoon of cooking and sharing food with like minded people.
Excellent African food in a central location in west end. Highly recommend the Founders Curry and Mushroom Stew.

Fantastic food. What a great place to spend an evening. Art classes going on as well. A real pleasure to experience an African experience one of the best in Brisbane
The food here is to die for. Amazing flavours and colours, lovely and convivial atmosphere, in addition to being a social enterprise. What's not to love? Can't wait to go back and try every item on the menu!
Fantastic meal - great to try something a little different. The staff are friendly and very keen to share their cuisine and culture. Have been back several times, and will be back again in 2018!!
We had such a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the staff were so warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit- we'll be back
Such a wonderful place! The food is soooooo good here. Fresh, tasty and great value. I'm also delighted to support Mu'ooz Restaurant because of the great work they do in providing employment and traineeships for African refugee women.
Great food , great company (Janelle) and exceptional friendly service. I love this place.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is wonderful and the food delicious. I cannot wait to go back
The food was nice, we had the $39 banquet menu and enjoyed learning about the Eritrean history on the walls - only downside was that we had to wait about 90 minutes after we we’re only told it would be 15 minutes
I have never had food like this. It was such an amazing experience. Bold and rich flavours. Absolutely delicious. They had beautiful artwork displayed on the inside portion of the restaurant and a comfy outdoors seating area.
I was excited to find Mu’ooz as the catering service for my workplace on Harmony Day. They are a wonderful business that give support to so many people both locally, nationally and internationally. All my coworkers loved the food and the comment “Wow! This is Delicious!” was said too many times to count. The lady I liaised with was friendly, warm, accomodating and bubbly which made the whole experience extra special. Thank you so much Mu’ooz!
The food was great and they were so accommodating - we had a big group and ordered all at once, which is tough for a small staff, and they did a great job of looking after us! Thanks so much to the staff and we'll definitely be back.
Honestly, one of the best restaurants in Brisbane. We ordered the shared plate and it was unreal, one dish better than the other. I’ll definitely come back. The staff was amazing too.
A wonderful dinner experience in West End. It was my first time trying Eritrean food. We tried the Asmera lamb dish, the beef Bierai dish, the founder special; chicken and coconut curry and my favourite dish the pumpkin Duba. The biggest surprise was the bread that is served with the meals - Enjera. A sourdough flat bread that has such a unique flavour. Perfect for soaking up those beautiful sauces.
Desserts included African doughnuts and an orange and coconut milk cake served with berry coulis.
Amazing experience! Amazing food! Loved the setting! The owners of Mu’ooz have created a brilliant, authentic Eritrean dining experience and should be very proud of themselves!
