Was told the corn & zucchini fritters is their most popular dish and I can definitely see why! The most delicate fritters with sweet and salty bacon and creamy avocado/egg made for one heck of a flavour sensation. I’d eat at this delightful, uniqe cafe again in a heartbeat.
Food was really good - mine was simple but cooked well. Service was really speedy and friendly and coffees were nice!

Really cute cafe in Spring Hill! So cosy and service was so friendly ☺️ I ordered their Mexican Quesadilla with Chicken and an orange juice. To share with friends we also ordered their Buttery Waffle! Such good portions and absolutely delicious! 😍
Seriously one of the best brunch place ive been to in brisbane. The beef brisket was insanely good and filling. Service was great and atmosphere was also really good as well. Great food, great service and great ambiance.
Dined with a few friends today in this cool retro cafe. Venue had a nice cosy feel to it, and dishes were extremely generous in portion. Chose the sweet corn and zucchini fritters ($17.50), which to my joy had very good amount of bacon served with it! While not somewhere I would go to everyday for lunch, it is definitely up the list on my Top Cafes in Brisbane.
It was a good start with the mug-a-chino and it’s shaved chocolate topping. I had to have 2.
Ordered the Shakshuka dish and big platter. The platter was fantastic.... but only swear words can describe how good the Israel Shakshuka dish was. I’ll be back again.
Cosy place with lovely ambience and deco, great place to chill and have food at the same time. I had the Nutella Waffle, which was pretty damn delicious! Fluffy, and not too sweet, it was combination of wonderful textures in my mouth. The owner of the cafe was super friendly and approachable too, which makes your experience way better. Only downside was the food took quite a long time to come, and I was in a rush, so I had to wolf down the waffle within minutes. I think the prices are a bit steep too, but overall it’s a cafe worthy of your visit! :)
Explored this cafe in he morning. Service was friendly. It was not that busy around 7:15am and there were only three tables occupied. Ordered a flat white and a croissant with ham & butter. Surprisingly, they did a very good job. Nicely prepared coffee with good presentation and strong aroma. Smoothness and strength were above average with good depth of flavour. Croissant was heat up perfectly with the remaining flaky layer (I hate those pressed by toaster croissant). Honestly, it was the first time that I finished the croissant without dirty finger because they gave me a set of knife & fork. Thumb-up! (You can pay attention to other cafes who may just give you a knife to go for you croissant with ham & butter).
Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, food was full of flavour and good size. One of the best banana smoothies I have had. Service was very friendly and was an easy place to take a child.

It was Sunday morning and the mrs was hangry and the pressure was on. I needed to find a place with hope for a great breakfast. I placed the big responsibility onto the shoulders of Spring Deli Cafe and they came through. It felt like a Steven Bradbury moment. Coming from behind and turning out a hero. The mrs was thrilled and the anxiety had worn off with every bite. One of the best kept secrets in Brissy !!
SO GOOD! Wow, this place is awesome. From all the delicious options on the many to the genius idea of the 'sweet and savoury platter' which had all the options I couldn't decide between on one generously sized board. I could barely finish it (managed to choke it all down tho 😉) I didn't sit inside, but outside was cute and fairly cool in the heat. The service was quick and efficient and staff all really friendly and helpful. I'm not from here but it will definitely be one that I recommend & seek out whenever I'm here!

I think this is the best cafe for brunch among all the cafes I have tried in BNE yet.
It really worths to come all the way to have an enjoyable breakfast, brunch or lunch here.
Felt super hot this morning, then I thought an iced long black with almond milk was a perfect option to start my day! Seriously, I finished that in 1 minute, so good!
Sweet&savory platter would be good for share and it was good for someone like me who wants to try a little bit of everything! The beef brisket was cooked so soft that it just melted in your mouth. The ice cream was so refreshing, and the sourdough was yum.
What I love this cafe most is that they have many healthy and innovative options, because when we go for brunch, it seems that every dish comes with sourdough, but here they got many creative dishes like the one I order called mushroom stuffed with smashed sweet potato, poached eggs, crumbed feta, kale chips. Since I don't like feta, I just have that on the side for my friend to try.
Also, a big thumb up for Matteo, a nice, good-looking, considerate guy!
After having some few to many drinks the night before, a hearty brunch was in order, so after taking the lead from some regular foodie reviewers we set off to the Spring Hill deli cafe. This area I normally would not consider for eating out, but I was extremely surprised and delighted with what was put in front of us. Normally I would not have ice cream and waffles sharing the same plate as chorizo !, but you have to try there Sweet meets savory platter $21.50, with corn and feta fritters, smashed avo on sourdough this a treat for the senses. Maple bacon is a winner with Holumi also on a great menu that really tests the taste boundaries. Great coffee is served also, so I cannot fault anything apart from the fact I could hardly waddle myself out after the sizing a you are given. So I doubt you will be disappointed if you go and try this great little place in Spring Hill. BTW.......it so fixed my hangover !.
Great spot for breakfast and coffee together with friendly and quick service. Saw this place highly recommended in Zomato and were not disappointed.

I have been hearing some wonderful things about Spring Hill Deli Cafe, so my family and I went to investigate on Sunday morning.
In brief, this is a comfy little cafe that serves up great coffee and very good food in LARGE portions - very good value for money.
The showstopper was the Maple Bacon - 5 out of 5! We all agreed that this was the best part of the meal.
My daughter enjoyed the Belgian Waffles topped with caramel sauce, strawberries, blueberries, macadamia nuts and served with vanilla bean ice cream. The serving was huge and she was only able to eat just over a quarter of this dish, but she was very happy to be eating ice cream at breakfast. My wife and I helped out, but we still left quite a bit uneaten.
My wife was very happy with the Baked Oatmeal drizzled with maple syrup and served with fresh berries and organic Greek yogurt. She ordered this thinking it would be on the lighter side, but the serving was quite large and delicious.
I went with the Pulled Pork Benedict - poached eggs over overnight cooked pulled pork, spinach and toasted pane all smothered in a delightful hollandaise. If I had known it was going to be served over a half kilo of pulled pork I might not have added the third poached egg. This dish was very good, but it did not compare favourably with a near identical dish I ate at Pillar of Salt in Melbourne the previous weekend which happened to be the best breakfast I've eaten in years (three poached eggs over pulled ham hock, served over spinach, toasted pane and topped with hollandaise) - https://www.zomato.com/melbourne/pillar-of-salt-richmond. Anyone in need for a coffee hit then this place has the right sized goblet, thats right they have a goblet to serve coffee in and its of epic proportions with a really nice coffee blend to accompany.
Such a relaxed homely feel this place gives on entrance, your in the city without feeling like your in the city, such a prime area. Knowledgeable and such friendly staff make this experience that little bit more enjoyable.
The maple bacon, haloumi, cherry tomatoes, spinach on toast was fantastic and with a simple balsamic glaze over the top was excellent, could have eaten kilo's and kilo's of the bacon it was that good.

This cafe came highly recommended to me by a few people and it did not disappoint. Pulled pork benedict for me, maple galzed bacon, haloumi, cherry tomatoes, spinach on toast for the other half. Food was served nicely and came out quickly. Pork was a little on the dry side however, I asked for my eggs to be cooked well done (had a bad experience with soft poached eggs at another venue) so I think had my eggs been runny, it would have added more moisture to the pork. Hollandaise was great - tasted homemade which was lovely. It wasn't overly rich but I like a citrus hit in my hollandaise - that's my preference though.
Coffee was excellent, they have a Goblet that you can order your coffee in! Unfortunately they only had the one so I let my partner have the goblet (damn it lol) and I settled for a mug. Delish coffee served beautifully!
The service was so efficient, ran very smoothly. Staff are friendly and you feel like you have just stepped into a family home. The owner, barista and wait staff, gorgeous people! Had an incredible conversstion with the barista and owner - so down to earth - I can see why so many people come here. The food and service is epic!
I would recommend making a booking especially on weekends, this gorgeous place packs out quick. One of the few places you could walk into in a bad mood and feel happy immediately as soon as you get inside. Will definitely be back!

The highlight of our Brisbane experience - despite the slightly outdated exterior, this unassuming place is very quirky inside and we were lucky enough to grab a nice window view on a bright sunny Spring Hill day.
I had the Smashed Avo w/poached egg. Although the poached egg came out separate instead of on it, it was beautifully cooked (perfectly runny). The avo was fresh, and it was so well presented on the plate. The sourdough bread was beautifully crunchy, and the beetroot hummus was amazing - I found myself dipping every little cut-off through this!
My partner enjoyed the Scrambled Eggs w/bacon and tomato relish on sourdough. Quoting him; "probably the best bacon & egg combo breakky I've ever had!". The relish had a caramel/honey taste to it, but a perfect balance. Egg was also cooked to perfection, and the bacon was not one bit oily and melted in the mouth.
Freshly squeezed OJ & cappuccinos were so good, too, and presented with class! Never judge a book by its cover - this place is utterly brilliant.
My fav place in all of Brisbane. I just wish they were open longer so I could eat here more! Fresh food with perfectly paired flavor combinations. Amazing.

I really like this place. The staff are friendly and the food is consistently good and you can tell the ingredients are all fresh. The first time I went the waitress forgot to send my order to the kitchen, so I didn't get my food until well after my boyfriend had finished his, and the second time they forgot my boyfriend's coffee, so just make sure you get the waiter to take your order and you'll be able to enjoy your meals together. I would recommend the shakshuka and the avocado and feta on toast. Also they have a book exchange here which is something that not many places do, so if you want to swap some of your old books for new ones then look no further!

My friend and I almost turned around when we arrived to spot the tacky exterior of this cafe. We decided to give the benefit of the doubt from an article about the cafe I read on Urbansheet.
As we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted with a hearty aroma of baked eggs and spiced mince. The seatings were oddly arranged but we got a comfy and cosy spot at one of the corners. My friend and I both ordered freshly squeezed juice as we both already had coffees beforehand. My peppermint orange juice turned out to be a great combo to keep me alert and refresh. It was tangy with a soft minty touch at the end.
I had the maple bacon, halloumi..... panini. The maple bacon had a distinct umami familiar taste akin Thai grilled pork yet more complexed aftertaste from the linger sweetness of maple syrup.
The service was amazing and attentive too!
I went here for brunch and ordered waffles and hot chocolate. It was delicious and love how it looks! So tempting! The staffs also very friendly.

I made the Spring Hill Deli, my local for over a year now. Since than i have only had the most amazing service. Fantastic coffee, and always a smile from the lovely staff. Best cafe in brisbane without a doubt.
I went for brunch last Sunday for fist time to this cafe and it was fantastic!!! The plates were beautifully presented and they tasted super delicious! One of the best brunch I ever had in Brisbane. It's a bit pricey but if you're looking for to have a great time, delicious food and coffee, this is the place!
We enjoyed Saturday lunch here! The salmon and avocado dish was a real treat, the ingredients tasted fresh and the salmon was cooked beautifully. At $24 for a plate I found it to be quite pricey for the serving side, and $8 for a green smoothie is a little too steep especially since farmer markets sell them for $5-$6 for a big glass. I recommend it if you're in the area, but I wouldn't say it was a MUST DO lunch in Brisbane!
This quirky little cafe is amazing. Tucked away in a little corner, it was the perfect place to have breakfast on a dull, rainy morning. The eggs Benedict was to die for. Their maple bacon is a must try! The OJ was fresh. The only downside was the coffee - it was terrible. Tasted like instant coffee. That's the only reason this place doesn't have a 5/5. My husband ordered the sloppy joe, which was also yummy.

Updated review. Went here for weekend lunch with my partner. The SHDC seemed a very popular place with the locals as the bright-red cafe was bustling with patrons.
To quench our thirsts, we ordered the 'Mr Brown' milkshake (dark chocolate + dark chocolate ice-cream + milk + peppermint essence), which was deliciously chocolatey with a nice hint of peppermint (without tasting too artifical).
For lunch, we shared the 'Sweet and Savoury Platter' (brisket hash + halloumi + chorizo + crushed avo + saffron panna cotta + nutella waffle). They had run out of panna cotta, thus it was substituted with a chocolate brownie. The brisket hash was the standout - with a good amount of spiciness.
Service was very friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices. Casual ambience - there are seating available indoors and outdoors.
Overall, a lovely lunch spot in Spring Hill.

Went here for lunch and had the haloumi bruschetta; my friend had the red lentil and tomato soup. Both were delicious, healhy, fresh and full of flavour! Staff was friendly and attentive. Price was reasonable given the wholesome portions. A worthwhile try!
Great inner city spot for a breakfast catch up with friends. The staff here are always friendly and attentive and genuinely seem to enjoy bring at work ( which is a lovely change from the norm) The food is also delicious and very reasonably priced. This spot has quickly become a favourite.
Lovely little cafe, great for a meal with friends or for catching a breather by yourself. Everything they cook is made there, and there's a certain comfort in the design of the place and friendliness of the staff. Food was amazing (as expected) and definitely filling.
The staff are always friendly and helpful for the needy person with dietary issues. I bring my own milk (macadamia nut milk) they're always happy to make my coffee with it. They've usually got something yummy and gluten free and the meal sizes are always very generous :)
Support your local !. This little family business runs on love - there is nothing here that is made without a teaspoon of it. The weekends can get pretty packed but the service is still really genuine, and the food delicious. Oh, they use Supreme coffee too. Spring Hill Deli is a must. I've recently enjoyed some delicious tapas (Thursday nights) and a mouthwatering-ly scrumptious breakfast at this little spring hill gem. Highlights include a gluten free beetroot cake and an iced coffee to rival all iced coffees.
The deli is now doing Spanish Tapas Thursday evenings. Last night was only their second night. I took my family and we loved it. We all had a favourite, mine was everything! But the sardines were fab, jamon croquettes, meatballs, the bread with Brie and blueberries! All fantastic. The service was a little slow but it was only the second night and the service is always so friendly. We will be back.
My Local. This beautifully decorated little red cafe, produces coffee that, will warm your body, and awaken you from the drowsiness of chilly Brisbane mornings. Insides ambience is created by the hanging Karbon Lightbulbs, omitting pure warmth. Customer service is efficient and friendly. Its a must for any mothers dropping the children off at BGG or for anyone tired of Coffee Club rubbish. Tip: try the chocolate brownies!
You know when you go out to eat and you are so looking forward to it? You build up a picture of what it's going to be like and you start dreaming your order, cos if you're anything like me, you've been pouring over the menu for hours previously. But so often, reality doesn't live up to dreams. Well - twist! - Spring Hill Deli was NOT one of those places! Splendid health, indeed. This café has of course been on my list for ages, one of the many foodie haunts of Brisbane that I never seem to get around to. My lovely friends now know I will always have a list of places I've been pining to go to, so we agreed to meet the one sunny Sunday. I arrived first and having anticipated a busy and packed café, I was pleased to be seated straight away. The interior of the café was sunny and airy with a genuinely pleasant mismatched, rustic farmhouse feel created in part from the large rooster mural painted on the wall. Nothing beats chocolate.
Just had breakfast here and it was fantastic. Wonderfully tasty food, great variety that you don't find in other locations and no one walks away hungry. We will be back to make our way through the menu

Sweet ;). Our visit to this cute cafe was made all the more wonderful thanks to some of the best service we've experienced in ages. The staff were unfailingly sweet, polite and efficient from start to finish. Even though it was Saturday morning rush hour our food and drinks were delivered swiftly. His smoked salmon/chevre/eggs etc was huge, healthy and delicious and my eggs bene was fabulous. Strong coffee and a fresh juice completed the picture. Even though it's not in our 'hood we would definitely head back to this place, it is the very definition of service with a smile and we loved every minute.
Overall very good. We walked up here on a Sunday morning and had no trouble finding a table. The service was so warm and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and happy, with cute decor. We ordered the mince on sourdough with fried egg. It came out quickly and we really enjoyed it. Big portion size, so great to share! My partner liked the coffee so much he ended up ordering two. My one minor issue was the fresh juice, which was kind of only half juiced. Had to chew it a bit. Weird.

The reviews led us to here. And the food did not disappoint! The salmon dish was a beautiful blend of spices and sweet overtones. Everything on the plate was fresh and handled and placed with care. My eggs bennie was yuuuuuummmmm. There's nothing quite like home made hollandaise ESPECIALLY when the eggs are cooked to perfection and the sauce and yolks just melt all over that maple bacon *dribble*. My mate had waffles with banana and caramel that looked mindblowing. Almost finished them too! We had to sit and digest a bit afterwards - I challenge anyone to try and move immediately after eating a deli brekkie.
We did wait about 30-45 mins for our food, about 20 for coffee, but it was hell busy in there. The waitresses were rushed but still friendly and certainly as attentive as they could possibly be, considering.
All in all, lovely cozy cafe, cracking food and coffee, friendly service. Will be back!
Generally pleasant. It was quite busy, and the staff seemed a little flustered. We were seated quickly, but then were asked to move, which is fine. I might account this to why our food took so long to come out, but it was worth the wait for the flavours, even if the meals were a little cold... Good coffee.
Best Cappaccino Ever.. Quite simply the best capaccino I have ever had!! Real chocolate flakes layer the top, perfect temperature, ending with a mouthful of chocolate at the end. Staff were super friendly and I left a highly satisfied lady!! Highly recommend for any coffee lovers.

7/10. Before this was a restaurant and just a little coffee shop on the corner I always used to come here to get breakfast rolls and hot chocolates which were delicious. Now they have extended the shop and their menu which is awesome. I went here with colleagues and they both said they really enjoyed their meals but I didn't. I had the "deconstructed tacos" which was basically just chili with some corn chips on the side. The chili was flavoursome but it had a really thick layer of greasy cheese on the top which I had to peel off. Also, we waited about 45 minutes for our meals. Staff are super friendly and the venue is great, I will definitely go back and try something else because everything else I'd had from there before my bad experience was good.
I had to visit Brisbane for a couple of weeks for work, and whilst staying in the CBD I found this place. I have two words for it: Simply Divine.
I had the Eggs Benedict, Israeli Shakshuka, and the Baked Oatmeal over a week; and I would have to say that I had not tasted better elsewhere. The food is all locally sourced and prepared from scratch with largish portions for a VERY reasonable price.
I took my colleagues who also praised the food, and one even said that their coffee was the best he had ever had since living in Aus. I could not recommend this place enough, and will be posting about it at work as a must visit place.

My housemate had been raving about the coffee here so I decided to give it a shot for breakfast. Definitely wasn't disappointed. I elected the eggs Benedict (my go to whenever I am trying a new place) and it might be the best I've ever had. The bacon was delicious, eggs done perfectly, great portion sizes. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed his dish. The service was super fast despite being really busy and the staff were so friendly.
Really loved the decor and ambience, nice and hip without being ridiculously hipster.
If you live in the area or don't mind a drive for a great breakfast you should definitely take a visit.
Delicious and delightful. I had the Israeli dish and my partner had the eggs Benny- both amazing. The coffee was average but the super friendly staff made up for that. Will definitely come again if ever I am in spring hill!
Great evening venue. I hosted an evening meeting here earlier this year and thought the food and atmosphere was so good, I decided to have my birthday here last Saturday night. My family and friends are still raving about the place. The food was brilliant (roast meats, roast vege dishes/bakes including one with haloumi, fresh salads and home baked breads. Dips and canapes for starters and home-made gelati for dessert and it was an awesome meal all-round! This is an excellent venue for a small wedding or intimate party, I had nearly 40 people in the cafe and there was plenty of room for everyone. The cafe is well placed as Boundary St is fairly quiet at night so not a lot of traffic (cars or pedestrians) going past. Also plenty of parking close by. Leanne and her staff were very accommodating and generous. I would highly recommend this venue for a smaller function and I will always have great memories of a brilliant night had by all. Thanks to all the staff at Spring Hill Deli Cafe.

One of the best in Brisbane. Visited this gorgeous little deli for the second time today and devoured a very generously-sized brownie. I think I died and went to heaven. Spring Hill gem. We visit Brisbane regularly and stay in Spring Hill. Our recent discovery of the Spring Hill deli has made this suburb even better. I have eaten /had coffee there a few times now and always found the vibrant young staff to be delightful and the service excellent. I am fussy with my coffee and it has consistently been exactly what I ordered. The service has been friendly, efficient and quick without being pushy. Then there's the food. Generous helpings of fresh, tasty , innovative food, and consideration for those with food allergies. Will be visiting whenever we make it to Brisbane.
I love this place! Most extensive range of GF snacks and meals (sweet and savoury) at the best value. Also do great coffee and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order.
Fresh and Amazing!. I heard that the cafe had a lovely atmosphere, with amazing, freshly made food and friendly service. I was not disappointed. Although the food was not instantaneous, I knew that it was being made fresh, which made the experience all the more better. The staff were attentive and friendly, regardless of the fact that the cafe was completely full and extremely busy. I definitely recommend going to this cafe!
Everything here is made with love, down to the fresh flowers and micro-library. The portions are huge - double what I expected. The service is personable and friendly, and regulars are remembered. Locally sourced food, vegan and gluten-free friendly, lovely atmosphere. I love Spring Hill Deli!

Spring Hill Deli and Produce, Brisbane. The Spring Hill Deli and Produce is a place that more places need to be like in Brisbane, dedicated to good and interesting food without being pretentious or outrageous in price. It is homely inside - despite how small it is it still felt spacious - with a library of books to read (and allowing for additions) and all sorts of goodies for there to ogle and salivate over. Outside has the old style look to it while inside is very clean and tidy. Everything here is made in store and they do not compromise on quality - coffee is grounded from roasted beans, the ice cream is a gourmet variety and you can guarantee that the meals are not prepared by any short cuts.
Service is really friendly here, the staff have happy looks on their face like they are enjoying their work. They work really efficiently.
To begin, it was a cappuccino in a mug; the mugs are not only big, they are massive - the regular coffees are served in the normal cups. These mugs must stand a few inches tall. This was pretty good coffee, the chocolate on top was actual grated chocolate that they did themselves, which is pretty special. I could easily choose this place to go for a cup in the future.
My dining buddy recently got a sudden piqued intrigue to find Jewish restaurants in Brisbane, and this was the only place seeming to sell a distinctly Jewish dish - the Israeli Shakshuka, which is poached eggs in a slowly cooked tomato sauce. That was what he ordered and I tried a bit and this is pretty interesting. To deviate briefly, the servings here are *huge* with a major emphasis, they were a bit of a challenge to get through (I managed to get over 95% of the way through). So the Shakshuka was an interesting dish, it is spicy and cheesy with several dynamic ingredients. He asked if he could get bacon on the side, he could and did.
I was having a tricky time deciding from the - small and eclectic - menu, and ended up asking for the proscuitto and poached eggs on sourdough. It came with dukka, asparagus and a balsamic glaze. This was pretty good overall, though you can only have so much proscuitto - it gets a bit cloying after a while. Everything else was good though. The balsamic glaze was a wonderful flavour and the bread they used was fantastically robust - it did not go soggy from all the ingredients on top. All-up this was a well-balanced dish that more than filled me up for most of the rest of the day.
To go, the dining buddy and I got a couple of milkshakes: mine was peaches and cream, his was jam (strawberry and again, right from scratch). They were really good, proper ice cream and actual fruit to make the drink - no sweet syrup here. You could taste the jam in the jam shake and not mistake the fruit flavour and the peach was also really good. It is a treat worthy of giving to a kid.
This deli has really taken off from the extension to eating in. There are so many ingredients to savour over and all sorts of ingenious concoctions. If only I lived in walking distance, this would be amongst my regular haunts. A must for any tourist coming to Brisbane.
While the cafe is beautifully designed with great decor, I wasn't as impressed with the food. The crumbed mushrooms with Avo on toast were quite bland. No flavor to the mushrooms at all. The gluten free bread (although tasty) was far too dense that I could only get through 1/3 of the slice. My husbands baked eggs were quite tasty however and our long blacks made from 'cup' coffee beans were great. Need to pick up the game or everyone will just head to Sisco down the road.

Best Cafe in Brisbane. I came in to Spring Hill Deli on the weekend, I have been eager to visit this cafe in months and finally I got a free weekend to pop in for brunch!! I must say, before leaving the house I jumped on urbanspoon to get the location and peeked at the recent reviews, I was shocked at some of the terrible reviews posted, still I wanted to try this place out for myself.
Upon arriving I was greeted by delightfully smiling faces, and they showed me to a table. I was soon given a glass of water and offer of a coffee. I ordered a flat white and it was devine! I must say, the best coffee I have had in a long, long time. I ordered the shakshuka, not long after finishing my coffee and reading a few pages of a book from their library my food came out. All I can say is, exquisite! The food was presented beautifully and tasted out of this world.
Spring Hill Deli and Cafe is the place to go!! Don't take note of any past reviews, these are totally incorrect. Service is amazing, coffee is delightful and the food is just pure loveliness!!!
This is my new favourite cafe for brunch, I can't wait to return very soon!!!! xx
Spring Hill deli and cafe have yet to disappoint. My job requires me to deal with restaurants and cafes for catering on a daily basis. Leanne and staff are always friendly, efficient and the food is amazing. I recently hosted a private function in this establishment and one week on, I am still receiving positive feedback from attendees. If your looking for a venue with generic decor, satisfactory service and average, mass produced food, this cafe is not for you! I will continue to support this family owned business so their passion for food and service is rewarded!
Love this place! My new fave. Big portions, fresh local organic produce and at reasonable prices. Such attentive and lovely staff too. My latest obsession is the bruschetta with haloumi.. Such a generous portion so you'll probably only need a half serve (or share!). Highly recommend! :-)

Amazing. As a sports nutritionist and certified Melbourne coffee snob, the breakfast I had at this cafe was perfect. The home made gluten free/organic bread under my salmon, avocado and poached eggs was the best I have ever eaten. As you can imagine I am very particular about the food and coffee I eat and this was only surpassed by the service they provided. I ate there every morning I was in Brisbane and will do so next time I am in town. 110% vote!

Wonderful food in a cute setting. I love the look of this cafe as it has a very comfy, warm feeling with the flowers on the table and shelves of gourmet food, and deli next door. However, what really amazed me was the food. Very well thought out pairings that were delicious, especially the eye-opening peanut butter pancakes. The servings here are generous, and the shakshuka was wonderfully spicy. The only complaint I have is that service is slow, and they forgot one of our orders and had to be reminded. I have recommended this place to many people and I am sure they will enjoy their experience too.
Lovely breakfast for Sunday morning, but seemed we arrived before the rush :-) I had proscuitto, poached eggs & asparagus and it was delicious!

REGULARS. Absolutely love this place! I try to always find a reason to bypass this little family owned cafe. Great staff who always want to have a chat :) the place has an awesome vibe and you can see everyone's really passionate about their food. Serving sizes can be compared to my grandma when she thinks I look to thin!! It's always a nice retreat from the summer heat with their cool cool air con.

Nice for Sunday Brunch - 4 Stars. I tried Spring Hill Deli and Produce this morning for brunch. Upon entering the cafe (separate entrance for deli) we were welcomed with the lovely aroma of healthy food and good coffee. In saying that I must admit that it would be beneficial if the front could be opened up to allow for better ventilation and improved ambience.
We were welcomed and seated in a timely and friendly manner by a member of staff (he was a very handsome young man too). Our drink order was taken promptly and water was provided upon seating. We were each provided a menu in landscape orientation clipped to a funky clipboard; this added to the rather chic feel of the place.
The menu consisted of a small number of rather unique brunch options including their special take on everyone's favourite; Eggs Benedict, uniquely named Eggs Benny. I ordered the Herb Baked Eggs with Sourdough Toast; something I have not ordered from any other establishment. I was with three others; one ordered Fruit Toast with Jam, and the remaining two ordered Eggs Benny.
Our orders were taken promptly after seating and the meals were served within about 10-15 minutes of ordering; I felt that this was a comfortable wait time. The Herb Baked Eggs with Sourdough Toast was served on a wooden board which make it look very chic; the other meals arrived on rather elegant white plates. All of the meals looked and smelled great.
I cannot comment on the Eggs Benny or the Fruit Toast however I can comment on what I ordered. My meal was absolutely divine; it had a strong element of freshness combined with the gourmet flavours one would expect when ordering from an organic deli style establishment. The eggs were cooked to perfection with a delicious herb topping. The toast toasted and lightly buttered beautifully; it was perfectly matched to the meal. My coffee was great and I would rate it as one of the best coffees I have had in Brisbane.
After sitting, chatting and enjoying our brunch we proceeded to the counter to make payment; an easy process where bills are split with no fuss. The food prices were higher than most however only slightly which was expected due to the type of produce used. Coffee pricing was fairly in line with the local average prices.
After exiting the cafe we ventured next door to browse the deli produce store. The store stocks a variety of different pasta, herbs, chocolates, meat, fruits, vegetables, dips and other organic goods. The prices are relatively high however the quality seems to match; again you are getting what you pay for.
Overall we had a lovely experience and I would most certainly return. The atmosphere was great, the coffee is some of the best in Brisbane, and the food was divine. My recommendation would be to open up the front and to spill out on to the footpath however I am not sure if this is a feasible option.

Sausages????. Funny review as sausages haven't been on the menu for over a week!! As for the coffee, we use Maleny milk, cup coffee and our barista is renowned, please come in for a free coffee.

New but Nice. The blackboard sign asks that we be patient as they're new. They seemed initially a little overwhelmed, the coffees took a little of time, a bit strong. But when brunch arrived (in good time) all was forgiven - the servings are generous & the quality of the ingredients outstanding. I also like that they're not scared to serve you a decent slice or two of bread (delicious sourdough toast too), as I'm really over the Fatkins style everything but the bread brunch. The service is friendly & competent, I think they'll swing into routine with time but I don't think anyone need wait for this to be one of the better brunch venues in Brisbane as I'm well impressed by the quality of the meals. The decor is fresh yet with a nice quirkiness. The table almost cluttered with flowers & retro sugar bowl, salt & pepper. It felt like a cross between a 50s diner & visiting Gran. We'll be back soon.
I was excited to see SH deli & produce's Facebook page that they were opening a cafe next door! It only opened yesterday so I thought I'd check it out for breakfast today. What a lovely surprise and great way to start the morning.
The menu isn't huge but had a nice variety of homemade goodies. The haloumi and zucchini fritters with smashed avo, aioli and a poached egg was great. Could have done with a little more seasoning but was able to add my own cracked pepper and salt at the table. The coffee is from a local west end roaster and being a LB drinker you know a good coffee when you see one!
It's a family run business so the service was very friendly and attentive. Decor is kin of old-worldly with quirky little additions.
Looking forward to returning soon!
Leanne the Owner/researcher. I happened to be in Melbourne over the weekend at my favourite coffee shop Brother Bada Budan when i began a conversation with the Charming Leanne. She was on a research expedition to her old home town to implement in her new home town, some new ideas into her burgeoning Deli operation in Spring Hill. We exchanged a pleasant chat and I passed on ideas of my likes of different places in Melbourne, which i visit often, that are successful and well frequented. Leanne seemed to convey a real passion about serving good quality produce coupled with great coffee, and with her charming personality i believe she will be able to provide a pleasant experience for your palate and your soul. Amazing quality food !!!! Fresh or toasted. The Spring Hill Deli has the best toasted rolls in Brisbane!!!! I have tried the Pot Roast Roll, which is traditional soft meat which melts in your mouth with tomato relish which i sweet and fresh served on the most amazing bread which u can taste how fresh it is. Nothing u would get at Subway!! Also the ham avocado and mango chutney with FRESH mango oh my god it was sooo good. The salads are really fresh and made with love, especially the lentil salad, with just the amount of spices... and sweetness with sultanas in it its a good combination... delicious and healthy !!! Also if you want to treat urself the brownies are AMAZINGGG, also the iced chocolates which they make there and bottle themselves are a sweet treat and you can taste the quality of the milk, organic chocolate everything!!!! ! I highly reccommend the deli to everyone ever since I started eating there, lovely service always friendly and happy and the best food and produce in Brisbane !!! Worth travelling that extra block for !

I have tried many items on the menu as well as fresh produce and packaged goods and always impressed.
The cured meats are amazing especially the jamon! The freshly baked cakes are always a winner, my favourite is defiantly the chai cupcakes and maple cupcakes.
It's not only the amazing coffee and food that keeps me returning to this fabulous deli but also the insanely amazing service from the team, Sophie, Hamish, Jo and Leanne!
REMARKABLE. It's not very often that you find a place that ticks all the boxes for offering fresh produce, gourmet dips, fine cheeses, sauces, marinades, crackers and service with a smile and enthusiasm. These guys are unbelievable in their passion for customer service, to a level I've never seen before. Unbelievably good.
Coffee & Bacon & Egg Panini. The best soy coffee in Brisbane, the staff are ridiculously friendly and the food is delicious. I hope this place stays around for the long haul.
Cute new little deli. Had the best Blackstar coffee only a few days after they opened and was very impressed! My friend had a hot choc which was made with real chocolate, so delicious.
We also had breakfast which was very reasonably priced (Omelette and Avocado Panini for $7).
I will be a regular customer!
Great food in a cosy environment makes this Spring Hill joint a success. I last visited this cosy inner city café a couple of years ago, but was drawn back by the numerous bloggers who had visited more recently and posted rave reviews. The red shop front is eye-catching and enticing, drawing you into an airy set of rooms. Staff were friendly, despite one of my friends remarking that the girl at the front counter seemed to be, how shall we say... a bit high. The menu hadn't changed much from my previous visit - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I'd never had Belgium waffles for breakfast before, usually reserving them for desserts or for sweet treats at shows or fairs (normally in Europe). So, I decided, what the heck, waffles for breakfast... I thought it was a bit too much to get the full package, which came with caramel sauce, banana and toasted pecan nuts but the strawberries, maple and ice cream sounded doable.
The breakfast here is pretty fabulous, so fabulous that i burnt the roof of my mouth while shovelling my dish down. My gluttony broke loose. No regrets though. In all seriousness though, i am so impressed with the food! It's been a little while that i've actually admitted to loving a place on first tasting of food! I chose the Shashuka dish which is in fact apparently an Israeli baked spicy egg dish (?) My knowledge of the origins on this name is pretty limited to no idea at all.... but, this was so delicious, it came out piping hot on the
This vintage-inspired café is seriously cute, cosy and charming with friendly service, fresh house made and locally sourced food and plenty of reading material! The adjoining Spring Hill Deli is an added bonus (if you fancy sneaking away with a house made bikkie or scone for ‘ron).
I had no idea how Spring Hill Deli & Produce had managed to gone undetected on my radar for so long. But aren't I glad that I have finally found it!
