Guzman Y Gomez - Brisbane - Photo album

Went to a GyG for the first time yesterday which was the Albert St store. The staff were very helpful trying to help me understand how everything works. There are a lot of different options so it wasn't easy for someone with no prior experience. The order was a bit late/delayed to begin with, a s
Service was quick. A little light on the pork in my spicy pork burrito (other GyGs add more meat) lots of rice and beans, not much else. The addition of pickled jalapenos, coriander, and habanero sauce helped.
Really delicious, fresh food! Very friendly staff. Clean store. Toilets on site. Heaps of seating.
This is the nicest most spacious Guzman I have ever seen. Nice and air-conditioned, we experienced lovely staff members and had some delicious tacos. Also loved loved loved the Mexican music they had playing to make a truly Mexican vibe.
We have tried eating out in different branches of GYG and this is the first time we ate at this branch and also the first time we got disappointed on what we have ordered. Quesadillas served to us are quite burnt and hard so it has a bitter after taste. And as what you can see on the image attached,
Good food, little bit lacking in the fries amount for the fries nachos. More than fair amount of guacamole :) very tasty.
I don't mind the food, it's slightly above average and does the job. However, over the last few months, I'm talking 5 or 6 months, I've come in to get a steak burrito bowl and they don't have steak, thus I'm disappointed every time.
Lots of space to sit, outside seating also available. Can get a bit busy/long queue during weekdays. Still find the gyg in Chermside Westfield the best.
