Aug2020. Went here weekend breakfast with the partner. Had made an online reservation ahead of time, however there appeared to be reasonable number of tables available.
We ordered the Ricotta Donuts and Croque Madame. Great sweet and savoury options respectively and well-portioned. Coffee was smooth and the Belgium Hot Chocolate was silky and not-too-sweet.
Efficient and friendly service. Takeaway and dine-in service available. Reasonable services.
Overall, a lovely breakfast option in South Brisbane.
Have been meaning to come to Pourboy for years and finally made it for brekky this morning.
What a treat!! The BEST croque madame and omelette EVER! Very friendly service and great special coffee and the Belgium hot choc was to die for! Will definitely be back!
Visited Pourboy on a public holiday. Staff were really friendly and attentive the moment we walked it which did start off the experience very well. The dining space was spacious and large, we ordered off the breakfast menu and was quickly advised then promotional Australia day dish which we ended up ordering - a take on the big breakky.
Featuring your usual ingredients plus lamb shank and sausages - this dish was truly amazing!
My 7-year old son and I arrived at 12pm on a Sunday for a quick lunch before embarking on a 6-km walk (return) to the Story Bridge. He wanted fried eggs on toast and a strawberry milkshake while I had the mushrooms with feta on sourdough and an English Breakfast Tea.
The male waiter got down to my son’s level and listened respectfully to my son’s wishes for “cooked hard” eggs. I was very impressed and thanked him for this on the day.
The food was great and the mushrooms were hot. The milkshake went down a treat, as did my tea. Thank you!
Has to be the best coffee in southbank. We waited quiet a long time for it but it was worth it. Excellent customer service. Their cold brew ready made coffee is amazing.
It was nearly five months ago for my first visit of this nice set-up cafe. Located inside the newly established residential and commercial complex at the Gray Street of Southbank. There souls not be any problem of traffic flow of its potential customers.
Walked in early in the morning and I occupied the first table of the day. I was greeted by the passionate staff and took a seat at the back of the cafe. Ordered a flat white and a oven-roasted salmon with poached egg and salad. Flat white was perfectly matched my palate and very well presented. Savory dish also deserved my appreciation with the salmon just perfectly done and so as the poached egg. I was too focus on enjoying this brekkie and nearly forgot to pay the bill when I stepped out of the cafe. It was so embarrassed....
The best thing about this place is the service!! Super friendly and attentive. Next... the coffee. And this is up there with all the best coffee in Brisbane. (Shows how good the service is)
Closely followed by the PBB burger for breakfast. Super tasty and again, up there with the best I have tried in Brisbane.
(Shows how good the service and coffee is)
Enjoyed a perfect flat white here along with a delicious berry muffin. Great strength with robust flavor & good presentation, smooth & rich. Berry muffin which was intended to take away was demolished on site with relish. Home baked flavor with hints of well done crusty pieces at the edges
An indoor setting at the Southpoint shopping & residential complex overlooking Grey Street and handy to rail & bus. Very good table service and a menu based around sandwiches and wraps. The coffee is exceptional and great care is obvious in its preparation. We ordered long blacks and flat whites. All coffees were rich and smooth, medium bodied with a pleasant perfumed aroma. Our meals were also excellent, standout was the linguini with slow cooked brisket. Burgers were well priced from standard to extras added. Mixed berry muffin retained a crunchy exterior with moist interior to please all. Also open for happy hour 5-7pm on some nights (Friday certainly) as the venue is licensed with a good range of local and imported drinks by the glass or bottle. Overall a rewarding experience.
Managed to schedule a brunch with Queen V in between two interstate trips. Having long missed the delightful brunch offerings at Pourboy (since my office relocation several years ago), I was quite pleased to hear that they had opened a store at SouthPoint (near Burger Project), and made some plans to check it out and see if it is as good as the original.
Lovely coffee and decent food in a convenient location, not a lot of vegetarian options.
Nice little cafe. I went there for brunch with a friend on a week day. It was quiet but the service was superb. The coffee was good and the food was nice enough. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the menu is very small and slightly overpriced. It’d be great to see more vego options.
No wonder it’s so busy. Friendly staff, loyal customers and fantastic coffee. Easily one of the bests I’ve had this week.
This is an epic find for Sunday brunch. We could d via google and man were we impressed. Staff were super into it and in great spirts, took our coffee orders promptly and gave a good level of advice on what the liked on the menu.
I had the croque madame and my partner had the omelet. Man thee we’re both super good. Better than I was hoping for. Filled us up and sat us on a days travels.
Coffee was also brilliant and once we got over my fast paced accent everything was sorted.
A must stop place when in Brisbane, highly recommended!!
Great location, very good coffee and smoothies, excellent food. Really enjoyed breakfast with the family there.
We won free brunch here and it was just fantastic. Excellent and attentive service and such delicious food. Really creative and interesting while still tasting good. Coffee was very nice too. Really liked the atmosphere. We had the jalapeno waffles, BLT, PBB burger and the salmon. Really super yummy. Would recommend if you want brunch to come here.
Went to this place for breakfast, from entering to the cafe till leaving the experience was just amazing
We ordered salmon breakfast dish the portion was HUGE and really delicious
Generous portion of avocado salmon beans tortilla and bread
Was very different and amazing
Coffee was great very creamy and full kick
Staff was super friendly and very helpful, looked after us totally and made sure that even it was busy everyone was well looked after.
Would definitely be returning for more
We enjoyed a brilliantly presented Sunday breakfast here via a new app which gives great discounts in off peak times. Staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Served mouth watering food and very very good coffee. The setting is within the new Southbank Station complex which may be the only downside -no sunny river outlook.. but interiors are clean, modern and comfortable. Best cappuccino I have had in a long time. Well done to this new place.

Food tasted great but the coffee certainly didn’t live up to previous reviews - which was the primary reason for our visit! $22 for the big breakfast pictured is a little on the pricey side, but the food was perfectly cooked. Coffee would’ve made it a 5.
