Gianni and his team were so good tonight. A great atmosphere with very pleasant service.
Great service and fantastic pizza. Such a beautiful location and venue. Disappointing the full menu isn’t available between lunch and dinner service but definitely recommend
Incidentally, I had all day Italian cuisine for lunch (at Il Locale) and dinner (at this authentic Italian restaurant). Held a surprise party for my other half in group of 16 people. Thanks to Delilah who arranged a private function room for us. Although I have pre-ordered the dishes for the night, I am very much appreciated that dishes were punctually presented as expected. Service was friendly and attentive. All dishes were stunning and looked great. They earned much appreciation among guests. Hero should be the Zucchini Flower, in which the crispy tempura batter with soft goat cheese that shaped a tasteful and interesting feeling inside our mouths. On the other hand, the risotto from the dish of PAELLA SICIIANA and pasta of the dish LINGUINE ALLO SCOGLIO really showcased chef's skill and the authenticity of the Italian dishes that they served. Once again, thanks for the hospitality and we definitely will be back.
Went last night for a dinner and absolutely loved it. The fish of the day was amazing after some incredible bruschetta, however the tiramisu was to die for.
We were part of a table of about 12 or 14. Great service. Food was quite good, although a bit pricey for the servings. On a nice day, there was a nice view over the river. Would recommend outside dining provided the weather is okay.
I had the special of the day spaghetti with chilli, garlic and clams. Was so great, full of flavour with nice chilli kick. Also got kids margarita pizza which was really nice. Got the bruschetta which wasn’t very good. Bread was soggy. Staff were awesome. Will definitely be back.
Came here with some family friends on their last night in Australia and had a great experience. Menu is a little on the expensive side but the portion sizes and food quality is well worth it. 👌🏼The staff were wonderful, friendly, and the service was prompt. Some of the pasta dishes were a little rich but that’s so be expected. Would definitely recommend the lychee-rose martini for anyone who likes rose scented/flavoured things as it was delicious! 🍸 The location is also really nice as it’s huddled among a bunch of other restaurants and looks out onto the Brisbane river and the city. I forgot to take a photo of my food but at least I got one of the view Enjoy!
Found out group of five a table on arrival. A view of the sunset on the Brisbane River added to the ambience. Staff were so eager to please and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered table water and decide on our order. Wine and garlic focaccia and calamari were shared. Our mains were all superb. Prawn pasta, linguini frutti de mare, seafood risotto, ravioli with sage butter and a pork pasta. Delightful setting and delicious food with reasonable prices made this a wonderful find.
We absolutley love the pizzas here. We had the 4 cheese pizza, the blue cheese and pear making this pizza burst with flavour. The base is the perfect thickness and crispyness. The service was great and restaraunt outside seating area was perfect for this sunny day.
We weren't really hungry after noshing hard at Eagle Farm Markets, but it was hot as balls and GDG was air-conditioned, so in full Brisbane summer survival mode we got a table. What followed was a surprisingly genuine Italio experience, featuring lush pizza, good wine and attentive service. I'll also note that the sweet potato fries were moreish. Plenty of places do them these days, but not a lot do them well. Gusto got that shiz on lock.
Pizza was so good!
Loved the panacota as well.
Outstanding food & coffee.
Service was really good.
Great location on the river - we got to see the cruise ship take off
We love this place. Fantastic service and brilliant location. We find this restaurant ideal before we see A movie or on special occasions. The pizza is so authentic and there are so many options! I have never been disappointed with the pasta and recently I have started venturing into their meat dishes and have loved the pork with roast veggies as well as the chicken with a mustard sauce on a bed of mash. Staff have always been so friendly and we love the style of this place. We recommend and will continue to come
Last week, we planned a birthday party for a close friend of ours, for dinner, we were keen to try something Italian but also something new. Having been through Portside for both Eat Street Markets and Sono we had passed through Gusto Da Gianni and had wanted to try it out for some time now. Without much debate, we reached a unianimous decision to have our meal there.
As a fan of big eats and large portions, as well as high quality foods I'd recommend Gianni's 9 times out of 10. Very high quality and great menu items, not overly complicated. The only issue I had was I couldn't make my mind up. Staff are fantastic, food is fantastic. Definite top 5 best Italian meals I've had. 100% recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Gusto Da Gianni. They offer a nice selection of wines and Birra Moretti on tap.
We ordered bruschetta caprese and arancini as starters, both of which were underwhelming. The bruschetta was wet and the Napoli sauce accompanying the arancini lacked flavor.
Fortunately, the mains were wonderful! The Tagliolini Alla Boscaiola (fresh egg pasta with mushrooms and sausage in cream) was lovely and the Risotto Milanese (risotto with Osso Buco) was amazing.
Double espresso with biscotti to top things off was the perfect touch.
I love everything Italian. I've been here twice and both times the food, wine and customer service have been excellent. Compared to the real thing, I'd say this place is close but not quite there. Definitely with trying this place.
Visited Gusto Da Gianni for a first date this week, and it was lovely! The attentive, friendly, cheerful staff really made a great impression. My date had one of the pizzas, which I tried and it was great - a crisp crust and really fresh toppings. I had massive plate-envy, because I had one of the pastas, and didn't love it. Not the restaurant's fault though, there was nothing wrong with the pasta and I'm sure plenty would rave about it - but it was a poor choice on my part (much heavier and less flavoured than I was feeling like on the night). I would go again, if only to have a pizza all to myself!
Very nice food - had the pork belly which was very nice, but someone else on my table had the meatloaf special and that was AMAZING! The entree was nice too - arancini and zuchini flowers and the desserts were also nice - but nothing special. Would come back to try some other dishes and would prey the meatloaf is back on the menu!
This restaurant consistently delivers excellent service and delicious, authentic Italian food, making it one of our favourite restaurants in Brisbane. We have yet to find a better pizza in Brisbane, and our favourites include the Diavola and Gianni's favourite. The selection of wines and desserts is also consistently delicious. It gets busy on weekends but we are always accommodated, and not once have we had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table.
It never takes any persuasion to "head over to Gianni's" for dinner, as it has been a part of so many birthdays, anniversaries and family visits for us. We love this place!
The food is simple, tasty and authentic! Taste literally like Italy and the mussels are the winner! My partner loves pasta and this place is a spot on for her! And for me as well...but I love any kind of food and my favo is Italian by far!

Nice restaurant with plenty of love and attention to detail placed into the decor and dishes. My 4 cheese risotto was cook perfectly and packed full of flavours, only a bit oily but expected due to all the cheese. The mussels were perfect, absolutely flawless especially the broth which was excellent. Only down side was the aircon being on & off and we were sweating in the corner as it became really humid. All food came very quick and tasted great. The service was awesome, prices were decent vs quality despite the 15% surcharge on the public holiday (Australia Day). Overall experience was very pleasant, will return again to try more dishes!
The arancini ball entrée was very average at best then the 60 minute wait for our mains where testing my nerves but it was well worth the wait. My steak was cooked to perfection with delicious sides and my wife's duck and 3 cheese pasta was one of the nicest pastas I have ever had the pleasure of trying. Their was plenty of staff around but seemed like not a great deal was getting done. Overall I would prefer to go somewhere else but I'm sure my wife will be dragging me back so she can try another one of the pastas.
Great food. A bit pricey considering the noisey environment and quite close to other diners. I would go again to try other menu items but not for a romantic dining experience.
I'm a regular at Gusto but last night was the first time going in a group of 3 (where you can't book a table). We waited for a good 30 mins to be seated and it was just disappointing that even though we tried to book a table earlier in the week so we could be organised, we were told no bookings for 3 people are accepted. The food came out super quick (within about 5 mins of ordering) and was tasty. Interestingly we almost took longer waiting for a table than we did actually having dinner. In and out in 30 mins
My favourite restaurant, ever. Never disappointed, judging solely on food. A little on the pricey side, but makes for an excellent treat....
Delicious authentic tasting Italian! Service sometimes is a bit inconsistent but the food here is really yum, if you stay with what you know... To me personally, you can't go wrong with their beef Ragu.
Gusto Da Gianni is a lovely Italian restaurant that serves sexy food. perfect for a date night Main dishes like seafood brodetto, porchetta are absolutely delicious and authentic. The pizzas are a winner And even the specials have not yet disappointed . Only disappointment was pistachio pasta unfortunately although pistachio in colour lacked pistachio flavour and texture in the dish.
Feels like fine dining to me?. Great place. Tried the Margherita Pizza at a few places from GoldCoast to Sunshine Coast and never had one as good as from here. the flavours really come through in Gianni's Pizza. A bit pricey but I guess it's worth it since the waiters and waitresses were spot on with service. And they didn't mind having a quick laugh with me after my 3rd glass of wine...
Fabulous. My partner and I like to treat oursleves to a nice restaurant when the occasion arises and this place is always our pick! The customer service at gusto's is one of a kind with very attentive, friendly, fun and polite staff. Our food has been delicious with genorous servings, although paying for water is my only fault with this place. Great Italian, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service! Everyone has different experiences but give it more than one go you won't be disappointed :)
Best Italian in Brisbane!. I have been a regular of Gusto Da Gianni since they opened and the food and service continue to be second to none. Being Italian my Dad is very fussy and he thinks this is the best Italian food (other than his mothers cooking of course). I am obsessed with the pizzas, I love that you can choose from either a olive oil or tomato base. And the affogatos are to die for. Great atmosphere, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal out.
Definitely my favourite. Not sure what all the negative fuss is about this place. We are going there for years and have not been disappointed.
It is honest, rustic, classic Italian cooking. We go there to have a great time and surely we have never had a bad experience.
The Beef Cheeks today where perfectly cooked and I love the different wine they have now as specials, some really interesting back vintages.
They look after our kids needs, great specials and yes, it’s a bit pricier but the portions are large and at least you don’t have to spend $100.00 per person to get attentive table service which many places in Brisbane fail to do.

Busy Tuesday Night, yet service was spot on. Another great night at Gusto. Not sure what all the complaints are from other diners, we have never been disappointed. Happy to see that the rolled pork belly stayed on the menu. The staff works hard but have always time to give a little extra attention to our kids too. Well done guys we love coming back to little Italy.
Being from Perth and Melbourne respectively, where Italians typically first settled, my husband and I have struggled to find good pizza in Brisbane.
This place has the best pizza I've had in Brisbane for YEARS.
The staff are friendly, organised and efficient (not to mention, half sound like they're Italians just off the boat!)
The food wasn't too rushed, pizza was wood fired with a good crisp base and fresh ingredients.
Drinks were expensive at $20 for a cider and glass of red wine though...
But altogether, me and my Italian husband are leaving pretty satisfied :)
Awesome!. The whole restaurant was full but we still managed to get a table on the side. We were promptly served with drinks, and our food came out rather quickly, considering how busy they were. The waitresses were friendly as well.
I love this place! I am disappointed at all the negative comments I see here because all my experiences (and there have been many) at Gusto Da Gianni have been fantastic. The staff are great (so polite) and I love that English is their second language. The food is great too! Cannot fault anything here. Please support this place - it is so nice to have such a quality restaurant in Brisbane.
BEST SEAFOOD PASTA IN TOWN!!!. If i could marry one of the chef's at Gusto's I would!!!! This place has a nice view of the river, fantastic food and beautiful staff fresh from Italy. So i go here once a month and i have a french martini with the Linguine Allo Scoglio and the Pear and Rocket salad. This meal is so great that i almost have it everytime i go there and now the staff even know me and know what i have everytime. Thats what you call great service with a smile!! So if you want to try a REAL Italian Restaurant thats ran by REAL Italian's then this is the place for you, their english might not be 100% but thats the charming part of trying food from all around the world. Enjoy!!
The BEST cappuccino I've had in a long time! Everyone else take note: a cappuccino is not just a latte with chocolate powder. A cappuccino has less milk and a full-bodied flavour. This place gets it right.
Authentic Italian - Beautiful!. My husband, myself and two overseas relatives visited Gusto da Gianni last night for dinner. And it was beautiful. Linguine allo Scoglio is always a favourite, the Tagliolini alla buttera was light and very tasty. Love the fresh pasta! Our friends had the Lasagnetta Rustica – beautiful and the Barramundi alla livornese. Cooked to perfection! We ended up having dessert also. The Tiramisu – perfect! The Torta di ricotta ‘al cioccolato, was SOOOO good! The Torta Caprese con gelato alla nocciola, served warm – just beautiful and the Mango Pannacotta. Sweet and perfect! Very happy, washed down with a beautiful pinot grigio and a little limoncello after dinner.
I completely agree with everything Gianni said below and I’m so glad he responded to all the so called ‘critics’ out there. I love this restaurant and am proud to have a great AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant in Brisbane. The service is wonderful, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is just great.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that serves beautiful Italian food, then this is your place. It’s not so called “Fine Dining” but it’s Fine enough. If you’re going to go to an Italian restaurant not knowing what the base of Italian food is, then do a little research. The food is simplistic, tasty and full of flavour. It definitely took us back to Italy. Before you bag a restaurant, understand what you’re going there to eat. Do yourself a favour and watch an episode of Two Greedy Italians, and find out a little about amazing Italian cooking/food.
You won’t leave feeling hungry, you’ll leave this place feeling very satisfied and happy with what you’ve eaten and know that it was cooked with love by a passionate team. They’re probably someone’s Nonna’s recipes too – which makes it even more special!
Thank you Gianni and Team. We’re lucky to have you in Brisbane. We’ll return again and again!
Delicious. Good, wholesome Italian food with excellent service. The 'Linguini allo Scoglio' was one of the best I've had.
I had my engagement party here last Saturday and it was perfect. They set the restaurant up gorgeously, the service was impeccable and the food was great.
Adi and Kelly were extremely helpful and made the night everything we hoped for and more.
Forget the rubbish reviews, this place cannot be faulted.
Good Italian. Have always enjoyed the food and service here and they make children welcome.
Amaazing place, wonderful authentic Italian food and the service is impeccable ! Love it !
I love Italian food and I love this place.
My Husband & I celebrated our Anniversary here. The staff were efficient & friendly. The food was delicious and the portion size generous. We found the prices to be reasonable especially for the quality of food we received. Our highlight of the night was the almond & chocolate tart served with hazelnut ice-cream. We split it between us and LOVED every bite! We will absolutely return with friends in tow.
Thank-you Gusto Da Gianni for treating us to a wonderful night :)
Gusto is Great!. Each course did not disappoint - with the serving sizes being quite generous and the food delicious! The staff had a good knowledge of matching wines and were really helpful regardless of being super busy. I like the relaxed ambience by the river and recommend this restaurant for couples, families and especially friends getting together for birthday dinners.
Service is amazing, staff are fun and always helpful... Food is wonderful and authentic love being able to have a early dinner, family friendly..
When I want a real Italian pizza with wine I can't think of anywhere else. Went to a big birthday and the event catering was delicious.
Beutiful. Lovely staff and always great food. I have been a few times and it is always a great night with fabulous food.
After reading the mixed reviews here I was rather apprehensive. But nothing to worry about. Really pleasant, great atmosphere, and tasty food! Lovely & delightful service too! We'll be back!
Absolutely love it! So authentic and delicious. Great place, great staff and even better food. Favourite Italian in Brisbane.
Tasty Lunch. Ventured to Portside for lunch one Sunday, was going to go to Manx and use our Entertainment Card, but didn't realise it's not open on Sundays. Though we'd not read any reviews on Gusto Da Gianni we thought we'd give it a try as it was busy and there was something on the menu for us all.
Between us we had a couple of pizzas which were excellent, a rissoto and lasagna, all were excellent, service was good too.
Have dined at Gusto Da Gianni's quite often, actually so much i could have no chance of keeping tabs on how many times.
What keeps us coming back isn't just the food but also the service. We have never once had a meal to complain about and everytime we dine here the staff are always on the ball topping up water, checking if you need drinks and ensuring your having a good dine in experience.
We had my birthday party with 27 people. The food was spectacular and the service exceptional. This is a restaurant that never disappoints. I am Italian and the food is as authentic as anything I could get at Home. Beautiful location and relaxed atmosphere perfect for Sunday lunch.
Nice Italian eatery.. Good food and service? Well they tried hard and mostly got it right.. Still leaves me miffed how some waiters want to collect my partners plate before I'd finished eating.. I'm sure it makes no difference to what time they get to go home.. Would do it again.. :-).
Fabulous Italian Food. I was staggered to hear someone had written a review complaining about the Italian accents of the staff at Gusto Da Gianni! Talk about professional whingers or should I say - bigots! Thank God in all my very happy visits to this lovely restaurant I have never had to sit anywhere near someone like that. The food is great. The pasta is as good as what you will get anywhere in Italy. The service is attentive, friendly and warm but never intrusive. We always thoroughly enjoy our visits here. Highly recommend it.
Hate Saying Goodbye. Tonight I had to say goodbye to some lovely people that I've grown use to seeing on a regular basis. I know waiters come and go however, at Gianni's they try to stay as long as possible - is it Brisbane, the location, the weather (not recently), the wonderful clientel (hopefully), or is it just the great atmosphere that is created on a daily/nightly basis at Gianni's - who knows what it is, but one thing is for sure - those that have left recently and those that are leaving shortly will be missed by diners/friends like me. New waiters will begin and in time I will feel the same way about them - but right now - I don't like saying goodbye. You will be missed - and that I know for sure!!

Wonderful Food - Wonderful People. I began my journey with Gusto da Gianni's some 18 months ago. I was looking for a dining venue that would be welcoming to a single diner. I found that place at Gusto da Gianni's. I have never felt more welcome at a Restaurant, with the exception of being in Italy! I have been lucky enough to have tasted the entire menu, and enjoyed every mouthful. My meals are not always the same, and for that, I am thankful - to be a carbon copy every time would become boring! The staff are, without exception - extremely welcoming - I plan to continue my journey with the Italian cuisine at Gusto da Gianni's for some time to come. A very happy diner.
I am Italian and I think that Gusto Da Gianni serves fantastic modern Italian food. The service is wonderful too, complete with wonderful singing and live music for the lady celebrating her birthday at the table near ours.
Buon ristorante e ottimo servizio!
Absolutely brilliant!!!!!! .... Absolutely brilliant!!!!!!
We have eaten here twice now, the food is superb and very well priced!! Service is fantastic, great atmosphere, you won't refer giving this awesome place a go!!
Thanks!. After reading some reviews on Urban Spoon prior to coming along, I was shocked to say the least as we had actually eaten at your restaurant some time ago. That did not stop me from having my 30th Birthday dinner with my family last Saturday night there. And as expected, was great. The service, the food, the atmosphere, the time i took for meals/drinks to come out, the wait staff explaining the specials etc. And of course, the embarrasing sing along that came out out with my cake! :) Thansk for a good night, and we will be back in the future. Kate
Room for improvement. Food can only improve, not the most comfortable seating, reminded me of Sardinia. Maybe they were having an off day.Seems to be popular.........
Although the menu is not for the budget minded the food portions are great for the price. The atmosphere is lovely even on a quiet weeknight and the decor will hve you mesmerized. Lovely location and staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
Better than expected. I love to use Urbanspoon as a guide on where to eat, and last weekend I was apprehensive about dining here (not my choice), but I was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely overpriced, but not to an unusual extent, so certainly it isn't the best value. But the service was fun and friendly, if a bit scant on an extremely busy night (we had a lovely man who added to our experience, but not all to his standard), and beautifully accented (indeed some staff are probably employed on the basis of their accent, not their skill). The food was a range of reasonably executed Italian dishes, often using some beautiful ingredients (the baby zucchini on the zucchini flowers were delicious and a friend raved about her crab). Generally the food was tasty, more hits than misses, but stick with the traditional dishes - they were the better options. And the place was certainly busy and vibrant on a cold Saturday night. I would go back again and it is worth a visit.
We enjoyed it. Nice and relaxed athmosphere, the food was good and so was the service. we will be back
The pizza is as good as what you get in Italy and I lived there for a few years
Good, honest food.. Gianni's offer an extensive range of heartly italian meals. It's a bit busy if you are looking for a quite, romantic evening but it all adds to the atmosphere! The menu is quite often tweaked as well, which is great as you can't ever get bored with the menu options!
Fantastic place for lunch, dinner or drinks!. I have been to Gusto Da Gianni several times now, and I have to say that it's one of my favourite places to eat out. Fresh and expertly prepared, their variety of Modern and Traditional Italian dishes never disappoint. The service is friendly, and some of them even have some great jokes and stories to share.
The wine list is also reasonably varied and priced, with some interesting wines from the Mediterranean to spice up your life.
Those who know me, know that I love Zucchini flowers, and Gianni's does them well. If you like seafood, the mussels and the Barramundi dishes are also a must have.
Bravo Gianni. We had a Monday night dinner here in celebration of my litte nieces birthday.
Looking around the place, portside is beautiful and this restaurant has taken on the locale with its layout successfully. Interesting to see that we were placed inside and that every table was themed differently which was very interesting.
The menu was exciting and we went to town with appetizers!! Being mediteranean the selection we chose was all too complementing, what a great variety and some exciting cooking methods!! Great stuff guys, from rustic traditional tastes served in old fashioned "baking tin.trays" to those zuchini flowers and the deep fryed olives (OMG THE DEEP FRIED OLIVES WOW!!!!)...but i now have a soft spot for the freshest black mussels served with subtle hints of spice and wine jus' ;) BIG WINNER!
The Mains were a hit too. The eye fillet and rib eye were cooked to perfection and very tender and the seafood barramundi brought smiles to our parents faces, they are not easily impressed so...what can I say...overall very delightful!!
The service team came out and provided my niece with a singalong happy birthday and sparkler in a tiramisu that was sensational to eat, not overpowering and very creamy just the way I like it. Everyone gave the deserts a go and this topped off the night perfectly.
From Yianni to Gianni, Bravo you have a wonderful thing here and we wish you the best from the other side of the river!!
Sooo very expensive, but then, soooo very tasty.
A great dining experience. I was unsure about booking for our birthday dinner when I found out there were already 3 functions booked. So we ordered quiclkly just in case the service was slow. However we were so pleasantly surprised. They had put on heaps of extra staff all of whom were efficent & pleasant ( and Italian). Our drinks , mains & desserts all arrived promptly & all our meals were delicious.Pizzas were great, pasta was fresh ,tasty & light & our dessert choices were beautiful . There was a slight discrepency with our bill but this was sorted out promptly & curteously. We would all thoroughly reccomend this restaurant. .
Food was delishious. Service was in competition with the local rsl.
Great food. Fresh, tasty and very well served.. Good value for money.. I will return
I love the setting and the ambiance. The food is always good and we have never had bad service in the dozen or more times we have eaten there. Gianni knows his stuff.
Excellent food. The service was a bit absentminded, but overall we had a good time.
Very enjoyable. The food was to our taste - fresh flavours, interesting combinations and nicely presented. We found the service was excellent (Sunday lunch). We got pizzas, of which there was a good selection and were served promptly. The prices didn't make for an inexpensive meal but for the location and overall experience as a birthday lunch we were satisfied.
I come here regularly for the excellent service, great atmosphere and to-die-for Diavola pizza! I don't understand how ANYONE could have anything bad to say about this place, I have probably been 20+ times and have always been very happy with the entire experience. Try the amazing tiramisu!!
Slow start with the service but the food was wonderful in its simplicity - beautiful fresh taste
Simply lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our pizza, it was really authentic italian, not too much topping, but quality ingredients. Service was good, looking forward to going back.
If you say this place is bad you have no idea about Italian food. You can't dislike a resterant cuz they didn't bring water. It has magnificent Italian food that is so real and I would recommend it anytime
Gusto Da Gianni's is located in the waterfront entertainment precinct of Portside. Portside is a gorgeous location, easily accessible with a number of parking spots, Dendy Cinemas, a selection of restaurants and even offers the occasional spectacle of a cruise ship. It's a lovely location in Summer but be prepared to rug up in Winter as the water and concrete combine to create freezing winds. I've previously been to Gusto Da Gianni to soak up their contemporary atmosphere and enjoyed their mouth watering Italian cuisine, but on this occasion we were only there for some dessert. We decided to order the Churros Con Chocolate, a traditional cinnamon fritter with melted dipping chocolate and a selection of Gelato. The Gelato was flavoursome and silky smooth and the Churros were gorgeously feather light. The Churro is a naughty addition on the

...lunch at Gusto da Gianni was so much better than I expected. The highlight of the meal for me – was the selection of entrees that we had laid out to share.
A Birthday Surprise! Really enjoyed Gianni's. Lovely food. Gnocchi delicious, and my Husband enjoyed his octopus entree and seafood linguine! Seating wasn't as cosy as we thought, a bit on the cool side but then the restaurant is on the river. We will go back.
Enjoyed a very nice afternoon at Gusto da Gianni. Excellent service, good wine list and honest italian dishes. You should try it.
Food was delicious, just a bit on the small side for the price. Esp a $15 rosé which was about 150ml.
But the food was of good quality!
The most delicious meal I've had in a loooong time! Exceptional customer service and yummy cocktails too! Puppy friendly outdoor seating 👌
Everything was divine! I loved the experience with a cozy atmosphere, the authenticity of the food and the kindness of our waitress Ivy.
I had the pleasure of dining here a couple of weeks ago with my son. The service was incredible, so polite, attentive, and informative. I am lucky to say I have dined and traveled worldwide extensively in my life, eating in some of finest restaurants (Michelin star), to say the least I know good food when it’s presented to me. I can highly recommend this restaurant. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection, the suggested accompanying wine was spot on. We had a wonderful night, that could not have been more perfect. Thank you, a wonderful memorable night. I will be returning.
I reserved a particular table outside for four for dinner recently. We arrived on time and were shown to the exact table as requested. We valued the waiter's experience when faced with the choice of wine and were not disappointed with his recommendation. The four of us enjoyed different meals and all were very complimentary in their praise. After eating we paid the bill and left after a lovely meal but once home, we reviewed the bill and discovered that we had been overcharged. I returned to the restaurant to question the disputed charges, fully expecting a deal of resistance by the restaurant. On the contrary, I found the staff to be both welcoming and anxious to correct the situation. Accordingly a refund was immediately offered and I left completely satisfied both with the meal and the service as well as the 'customer service repair' the following day. This in my judgement, is a restaurant that ticks all the boxes.
