Had an early dinner with hubby on a friday. Restaurant had a decent number of crowd. Staff greeted us straight away and we chose our preferred table.
Brought us water for drink and gave us time to choose our meals. We ended ordering fried calamari, sirloin steak, and the chicken pie. The food came at reasonable time. Pie was so enormous we were bit shocked. Food tasted good.
It was overall a great dining experience 😊
HELLO ! !!! This place is amazing! Reasonably priced too ! Had the chicken Karage burger- damn straight the best thing I’d eaten all week. I’ll be back here for sure! Service was fabulous!
Situated at the corner of Albert & Charlotte Street, this casual setting has a straight-forward menu with breakfast favourites as well as all day items such as avocado on sourdough. Evening dining has a more extensive menu than lunch. Wines are carefully selected with a choice of by the glass or bottle with some value house specials. Lunch menu had salads and classic dishes. Our group tried the beer battered flathead and chips as well as the slow cooked beef brisket with pumpkin and a zesty coriander based chimichurri sauce. Meals were well presented and cooked, wines flavourfull and well matched and service efficient. A good spot for a bistro style lunch.
Croft House is a great option on the corner in the CBD. With an effortless, modern design, it offers the option of window seats, high bar-style chairs to people watch, booths for your brunch pals and plenty of relaxed seating to enjoy a long black, a large breakky or the special. The special: golden French toast with crispy bacon, berry compote and a sweet white chocolate sauce was a fun sweet and savoury option. If you’re after something more savoury there’s everything to love about a menu that makes it hard to choose. From their deliciously simple eggs Benedict staple to a mixed mushroom, halloumi, rocket, egg and pine nut topped sourdough, it’s a tasty spin on breakfast favourites. Great service, good coffee and it’s adjoined to the Sebel so you can have breakfast charged to your room if you’re a guest.
Beautifully simple breakfast, really great coffee, great early morning vibe.
I dined alone and took my time: service was good, breakfast was fresh and the place was spotlessly clean.
Enjoyed the food and wine here. Excellent staff, very attentive, even with a busy crowd after 9pm. I would recommend the crofts for a dinner or just a drink.
Exceptionally good value coupon deal here. Actually I remember coming to this cafe when it was under another name & it was pretty rough! We enjoyed dinner for two the other night the service was spot on, no waiting between courses & considering the restaurant was almost full that was a plus. The food & wine were also pretty good. Only problem I had was there was no crispy skin on my fish which was otherwise perfectly cooked. Partners pork had some beautifully prepared crackling with a good selection of roasted vegetables. Loved the soup of the day which was cauliflower. Just a hint of creaminess (I too, as Ronnie below, am not keen on cream in soup)
Had Scoopon deal dinner at this place around two weeks ago. Located at a prime position on the ground floor of Sebel, it should be the in-house restaurant. Lay-out is cosy and service is sincere. It was a very good deal of $59 two courses with drinks for two. We ordered the daily special soup & the risotto for entrée. Both the Sweet potatoes soup and risotto were slightly too creamy for us but the taste was good. Mains of Rib Fillet & Lamp Chops were also average in terms of quality but the culinary skill was there. Overall, I am much appreciated the way that they serve scoopon customer as the same as others, which indicates the management really like to have a promotion by deals.... Recommended other foodies to try before the deals are sold.
Hands down the best coffee in Brisbane. They put 2 shots in a small - yes! Thank you! Finally! I'm sick of asking and paying 50c extra to have a coffee taste like coffee and not like just milk. Go to the little window on Albert st for quick service.

Country comes to the city in The Croft House, a bar-centric, bistro-style eatery that brings new dining style to Brisbane's CBD. Located on the corner of Albert and Charlotte Streets, its central position makes it an easy pick for a city lunch or dinner. The food is shared plate style and the look is styled country elegance.
The Croft House Town Kitchen and Bar is the newest restaurant opening in the city centre, as part of the Sebel Hotel. It’s situated on the bustling corner of Charlotte and Albert Streets, with plenty of seating to watch the city workers rushing by. Inside, it’s pleasantly well-lit without being overbearing, making it a great place for anything from a weekend breakfast to a business lunch affair. There’s an abundance of natural toned wood and lightly cushioned window seats to go with the large glass street panels, giving the venue an open and modern feel.
Went for an early dinner last week, had the chicken wings for a starter, nice and tender and loved the spice, had a Bavette steak for a main, loved the steak with the butter
it came with, will be back for sure
