Good quality Greek food with an awesome atmosphere. It is slightly overpriced but the service is good and you pay for the location (right on the river). I came here with a large group and the food was brought out quickly.
It’s not always worth it to get the banquet - we ordered a la carte and it ended up being cheaper for more food!
Probably the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Service was impeccable and the food to die for. Definitely coming again...and again and again and again.
Grill chef is truely master chef🙏
What a fantastic experience it is dining at Greco at the Howard Smith Wharfs with an idealic view over the BRISBANE River of the CBD . The wait staff were attentive and my only complaint was that sitting outside was very hot with only a small fan for relief
The food was delightful I had the saganaki which is always a fav of the Hammer and followed it up with the Lamb Shoulder
Will definitely be back ( maybe at a cooler time lol)
All our meals were delicious. However, the saganaki cheese bubbling away in its hot plate with honey drizzle cover it was the highlight. We did have a small incident with our dessert which required it to be taken away. However the waiter dealt with it professionally and readily. He replaced it with some ouzo infused watermelon which was also delicious and refreshing. Very satisfied customer and I can’t wait to go back.
3 of us came to Greca for dinner, it was really busy but we were accommodated quickly and they offered us a seat at the bar.
The staff were attentive, had good knowledge of the menu and quick to recommend dishes with overselling like some tapas/Meze style places do.
The menu was varied, for us the saganaki with honey and oregano was the best part. The salads complemented the main dishes well and serving sizes were appropriate.
The drinks menu had a good variety for everyone and priced well.
Good place for sharing plates with a group. Would probably come again to try other dishes and one of the cocktails!
Howard Smith Wharves is quickly becoming our new “go to” place to visit in Brisbane (along with the rest of Brisbane no doubt). Last time it was beers & lunch Felons Brewery but this time was all about Greca. Serving up delicious Greek classics good enough for the gods, great service, light air interior & a damn good spritz. Only negative we were sat at a horrible little table with barely enough room to move my chair out, we asked to be moved and were moved to another table which was fine, but it’s a tight squeeze inside. Hot tip - save room for dessert! .

The aroma of sizzling roast lamb beckons as you walk into Greca, a contemporary taverna offering the sort of Greek food people fight over at Howard Smith Wharves.
Fronting the Brisbane River at what is rapidly becoming a must-be-seen-at location, Greca manages to evoke Greek charm married with local flavours including those which have made headlines at its Sydney sister The Apollo. More on eatdrinkandbekerry.net
What an awesome venue Howard Smith Wharves is! So many great places to hang out. We went to Greca on opening day and it was great. I’m sure it’s only going to get better and better.
The staff were lovely & so attentive. The restaurant looks amazing and I loved the open kitchen.
We all agreed the desserts were to die for, they were all absolutely delicious perfection!
For lunch we had a few dishes to share. The grilled calamari was ok, the saganaki in honey was heavenly and the spanakopita was terrible. Oily, tasteless, soggy filo and no discernible cheese. Not the best and I would recommend avoiding it.
I can’t wait to go back and try the lamb, I spotted it on several tables & it looked really good.
I loved that we could split the bill evenly, brilliant.
Looking forward to visiting again soon!
We had dinner on a busy Thursday evening. The service was excellent and attentive.
The food was delicious. A veritable Greek feast. We shared the (small) lamb, it's huge!, And the souvlaki chicken. Absolutely beautiful.
If I had a qualm, it would have been nice to see more Greek house wine, by the glass.
Awesome view, kind staff, amazing food.
The food looked so nice and was true!
However, it was a bit salty to us. 😂
It was a good memory and spent an enjoyable time tho.
Thank you for taking care, for good service and smile.
Brilliant food, service and view! It's very popular so worth booking an outside table in advance. Our waitress was so lovely and recommended we do share plates instead which ended up being perfect for our table of four. My favourite meals were the calamari and the souvlaki charcoal chicken but honestly every dish was delicious. Highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit!
Most amazing Greek food and general dining experience ever. You could tell everything was made fresh with high quality ingredients and they came out at just the right temperature and all dishes tasted exquisite. The pacing and order in which the food and drinks came out was also done perfectly. Although it took a bit to get our order down due to it initially being very busy the service from then onwards was wonderful. The food at this restaurant has turned me into an absolute Greek food lover! Thanks Greca and my girlfriend for taking me here 😎👌
Took me back to Greece with great fresh flavours and a friendly atmosphere. I scored a seat at the bar, closest to the kitchen and wish I could have had every dish that came by. Excellent service despite being very busy. Highly recommend!!
Perfectly balanced and delightful dishes! I was apprehensive that our meals would be too salty because I’d read some less than favourable reviews however, it absolutely wasn’t the case for us. Will definitely be back!
Probably the best restaurant I have visited. The location, atmosphere, wait staff and quality of food were exceptional. Really impressed. All the wait staff seemed to be enjoying themselves and having fun. Olives & Saganaki were perfect, roast potatoes delicious, garden greek salad beautiful and the chicken was wonderful. There was a bit of a wait for the main dishes but they were very busy and it was the same for all tables. The food was worth waiting for anyway. Fantastic, will definetly be back.

I went out for dinner with five other friends and we got the $65pp. The food was to die for. The lamb shoulder was so soft and would fall apart. I definitely recommend GRECA.
The waitress, Ocea, was absolutely amazing. Her service was so attentive, friendly, warm, and pleasant.
