Review Kitchen 8 - Brisbane

Tucked away in an industrial area, you'll see customers in flouro vests but not the usual sausage rolls and meat pies. Friendly service, great burgers and pasta. I liked the feature wall photo - old street, Sicily.

Came here at 9am on a Saturday and wasn’t too busy. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We both got the breakfast burger and it was delicious, the bread was so soft and delicious, the egg was perfectly cooked to be on a burger and the homemade hollandaise was amazing. The banana smoothie wasn’t the best but don’t usually get this so I would get something different next time. Would definitely eat here again !!

Went here for my bday 2 weeks ago for the 1st time absolutely delicious food! I usually stick to my regular foods but I thought I'd try something new one of their specialties the brisket burger and I was blown away it was perfect my family are usually picky eaters but we all cleaned our plates and fit in dessert! Highly recommend!

Great little find. Nestled in Banyo's industrial district, this cafe makes good food. Breakfast for lunch is always a plus in my book.

Wow guys! Coffee was great, lovely balanced flavour & strength was very good with our standard extra shot. We had the Brisket Benedict which was absolutely awesome. Would highly recommend this Cafe. Staff were friendly as well.

The staff are always friendly. Food is always delicious and great serving size.
Appreciate that they offer free babychinos too which can really help out in a situation with a toddler. Will be back again without a doubt.

I have Avo on toast regularly from Kitchen 8 at Northgate but on receiving my Avo on toast this morning I seemed to be missing the avocado as it only thinly covered half of each piece of toast but they seem to try & make up for the missing avocado by adding way too much Feta. Very disappointed especially for the prices charged.

Ordered the avocado on toast with beetroot hummus, so good! Very laid back cafe, great for a lazy morning. Staff were friendly and attentive and the coffee was great too! Look forward to coming back as there are other menu items I’d like the try.

A spontaneous trip to kitchen 8 but I can’t say I was impressed. That’s why I’m only giving u a 3. The staff were amazing but the coffee was not at the same level. Cannot put a finger to it but there was something not quite right about the taste. But the dessert was awesome, diddle, hybrid of doughnut and waffle. In general, I didn’t really enjoy the whole experience and I probably won’t go back.

A top spot for breakfast. Decent coffee and lots of tasty options. Lunch menu looked good as well so will have to come back. A surprising little gem, hidden away in the banyo industrial estates.

Came here for brunch on Sunday with family. The smoker outside got me excited. I got the brisket burger just because of that smoker. Unfortunately, the Smokey flavour was coming from the bacon, not the brisket itself. The brisket was pretty bland and dry. Bun was really nice and all other components were delicious, like the jalapeño relish. Other issue was the cheese. The cheese on all the burgers was completely cold and it was that plastic cheese. Rest of the table really enjoyed their meals and I got to try a bite of the breakfast burger which was really nice but hollandaise sauce was from a pack. Coffee is great. Freshly squeezed orange juice.

I was surprised to see such a nice set-up cafe tucked away in the industrial area of Northgate. Another surprise was the interesting breakfast menu that offers something not usually served in other cafes. Love to see that they are serving Vittoria coffee which is one of my favourites. Savory dish of Breakfast risotto deserved thumb-up with nice balanced ingredients of chorizo, mushroom, tomatoes and spinach. Taste was well balanced too. If not because of the strength of my flat white was weaker than I expected, marks on this review would definitely higher.

The new buzz in Brisbane's northside, is Kitchen8. Within a light industrial area of Banyo, this hidden gem is making mark on the restaurant/café industry.

The menu choice and freshly made food in the open kitchen will blow you away!

The service is on point with abundant staff. The coffee is perfect and the selection of accompanying sweets are divine.

The quiet indoors setting or the busy café vibe outdoors provides great options. The layout design can accommodate any size breakfast, lunch and yes now dinner bookings (Thurs-Sat)!
