The wonderful Victoria Park Bistro is located at 309 Herston Road, Herston. I was fortunate enough to be able to celebrate a milestone birthday there yesterday with family & friends.
Bookings are essential to ensure that you have a chance of getting into this place which has so much to offer.

Gave 2 stars because the staff were friendly, but wow - super expensive for what you get. Literally, a chunk of meat on a plate for $44. It was tasty yes, but they were sold out of everything else anyway, so that one cut of meat was the only option. Chicken burger the wife had was average, the chicken was very dark, almost burnt and the bun was hard but she managed to get through it. Kids didn't finish their meals, stating the burgers weren't nice.
Beautiful setting though. Personally, I'd leave it to having drinks there or just nibbly food as the mains we had were just no good, especially for the price.

A fantastic place to take the whole family. There is so much to keep them entertained. The food was great and reasonably fast for a very busy afternoon/ evening. Love the garden with all the edible goodies. And the view was lovely across to the city.

I had a lovely lunch with the family at the Victoria Park Bistro. I'm a Coeliac so eating in a place that cares about dietary requirements is a bonus. The food is very tasty indeed and gf too for me which was lovely!

Great place for breakfast with a view and outdoorsy feel. High and low tables. Friendly service. Delicious breakfasts. Good coffee.

Horrible service and food quality. The staff were very unwelcome and unattentive. Waited for a cup of cappuccino for 40 minutes. I ordered Bistro breakfast for $24, only came one slice of Sourdough bread without butter, the beacon was so dry tasted like yesterdays. Will never go back.

Such a great venue for families. The layout is beautiful and relaxed. The meals were delish and quick.
We were super early for our booking which wasn’t an issue as they put aside a little area for us while we waited.
We will definitely go back. The kids had a great time in the playground and jumping castle, and the adults didn’t have to stress about kids noise etc.
Loved it!

Had a great day hitting a few at the driving range, very family friendly and lots to do at the park. Had dinner at the Bistro after which was a nice atmosphere. It's great with the outdoor area and since it's been refurbished. A nice place to bring kids and have a casual night.
