One of the best coffees in Brisbane (if not The best!). I love their mocha with milk chocolate, it's just great!
This place is my go to whenever I'm in the CBD.
Loved this cute cafe. Ideally located. Great service. You can see people take advantage of the skip app. There was a constant flow of people coming in and out. We didn't wait long for our coffee. But when it arrived it tasted amazing. Extra warm. Bold strong flavour. Loved it.
nice place. good coffee. if i have to spend 4$ on a quick take-away coffee, i'd rather spend it here than at other famous franchises in brisbane.the place also boasts some elegant interiors as well.
Gosh it’s been a while. This used to be one of my favourite cafes in Brisvegas so it was good to go back again.
The service was ok, although the man who served me did appear a little hard of hearing as I had to repeat my order twice.
This cafe is in a beautiful old Art Deco building and that’s almost enough to boost this cafe but it’s the coffee that I like.
They do sell a couple of snacks but not enough to entice me to try anything.
My strong skinny latte was very good, but not quite as good as it used to be. Still this cafe is easy to find in the CBD and it can get busy so be prepared to wait!
I had visited The Frisky Goat years ago & finally returned to see a complete makeover. Loved the seating arrangements which is part of the hotel foyer & very grandiose. Lots of murals on the walls & pretty chandelier lighting with deep comfortable lounge areas to sit & relax. The coffee is the star here, beautiful flavors & a deep rich brew will keep you here longer than your original intentions

A great little coffee hub at the bottom of the new Adina Hotel. Coffee was excellent, staff very friendly and a good range of snacks. Queues during the week with local office workers, nice and quiet on the weekend.
Smooth coffee. Great friendly service. Clean comfortable spot, little getaway from the foot traffic. Inside a nice old building, these guys know what they are doing. Recommended.
Was out and about in the CBD early on a Saturday morning (no I didn't stay out and party all Friday night, and no I wasn't hungover). Remembered that a friend recommended the coffees at Frisky Goat, and being early to an appointment, I dropped in to give it a shot. Having recently relocated, it proved harder to find than I would have expected.
Fantastic coffee right smack bang in the middle of the brisbane CBD. A little bit pricier than your average up of coffee, but it is worth it for the amazing taste!
Hands down best coffee spot in Brisbane!! Coffee is always consistently amazing. Mocha with REAL dark chocolate is just perfect. And staff are friendly and wonderful. :)
What I surprise is that the cap is great with crunchy chocolate on top! Hidden place is also another point, only for that coffee addicted person!

Another hidden cafe in the Brisbane CBD, which located inside an heritage building on George Street. They are pretty popular in the mornings, so if u don't want to squeeze in n out go there during lunch hour and have a great sip of coffee.
Potentially the best tasting cap in the CBD and certainly one of the only places doing shaved chocolate on their caps!

A great little coffee spot. Love the place, though seating is limited. They're always trying new coffee styles and blends. So its a place for officiendo. Top notch coffee and they really know their stuff. Well worth going to.

Frisky Goat - Brisbane CBD. Of the otherwise unrelated building Promoseven Place sits a popular takeaway coffee place. There are a few tables outside and a few inside for people who wish to eat their food there but for the most part, it is populated for people on the run. Signs are outside for anyone searching for it otherwise only those who know about it will be able to locate it.
It is oddly located, a bit far for the working area of the CBD and quite a stretch for the university. Like most good espresso, it is worth making a detour for a cup.
If one choses to sit outside, across the road is a rare sight of a piece of green space. This is a more relaxing aspect than most other places within the nearby area.
One thing i definitely commend with the interior is the implied entrance and waiting area. Probably by coincidence, the door on your left as you go in makes a beeline to the counter to make an order then going to the foyer.
The Frisky Goat is lavish and decorated with almost every little refreshment you will need. There is a (likely) particularly chosen old-style wood for the backdrop but it clashes with the modern choice of seating inside. Still, it is very appealing and distinct looking. The Frisky Goat has a well-organised orchastration with placing the orders then bringing them out; the service is also some of the friendliest in the city.
Before heading off to work, I got a double shot cappuccino and what was called a "hippie bickie". They might change the flavour from time to time; it was a yoghurt and fruit one this time. The bickie was a robust sweet; the ingredients appeared to be unartificial, with a good museli base and generous amounts of dried fruit sprinkled throughout the biscuit. It was very good.
I can see the appeal of the coffee. The flavour is quite good and the texture is unique. Instead of powder, they use chocolate shavings which is a real surprise. Everything that a cappuccino needs to be is here.
It is a welcome find amongst a lot of audience-aimed mass-eateries found nearby. The quiet hiddenness is both a downfall and a fringe benefit for this place. Not pretentious, not bland, this is one place that is of absolute recommendation for a cup of coffee (even brief) whenever in the city.
Went to Frisky Goat this morning for coffee. Service was fast and the coffee was delicious. I like how they put grated chocolate on top of the capaccino.

Would like it to remain a secret. Lovely staff, prompt service, great tasting coffee - what more could you ask for? So much better than many other CBD coffee houses - worth walking that extra bit further for.

Outstanding coffee. Sure, they're not the cheapest or most generously-sized coffees in the CBD but they're incredibly good. Both a single-origin and house blend is offered.

Lovely tiny take-away place. Though they offer several tables and chairs, they are basically for take-away coffee. That does not mean the quality is rather poor. Absolutely opposite!!! Lovely coffee, services and very friendly. It reminded me of some cafes in Europe. Small and quirky in a good way.
Can't Stay Away.... I found this little coffee spot shortly after our head office moved into the CBD. It is only short detour from the route to work and curious to see if their coffee was a cheeky as the cafe's name and logo suggested.
Well yes - they make a great java and the service is always so very polite and personal (well at least more than any other coffee place I've been to in the Brisbane CBD).
Alas, the one down side to this story is that they are the first place I have been to that has charged $5 for a large take away. Perhaps I could justify it if the 'large' was closer to a jumbo but it doesn't even fill my travel mug.

Tucked secretly inside a small understated lobby on the corner of George and Elizabeth street, lies Brisbanes quiet achiever in the coffee scene. The Frisky Goat has 3 beans to choose from: Indian Arabica, Panama, and their own 'Frisky Blend'. I opted to go 'frisky' and was delighted with rich, creamy flavor of my Latte. Without the pretentiousness that comes with Brisbanes other coffee havens, this place is serving up my favorite coffee in Brisbane.

The Verdict? Comme-ci comme-ca - meaning it was just so-so. I could still taste a little bit of coffee, but the almond milk seemed to overpower the coffee itself (which I like), making it taste like a watered down version. Perhaps my almond milk latte would have tasted better witha bit of sugar, since I was hoping the almond milk itself would add a bit of sweetness. I am a bit disappointed on my extra dollar spent on the almond milk...
Frisky Goat is a great alternative to the big coffee brands that run-a-muck in Brisbane’s CBD.
Frisky Goat, the name alone was sufficient to intrigue the caffeine addict inside of me to find out what this place has to offer. We enjoyed our latte and cappuccino in what may initially seem to be a confined space, but when the soft jazz tunes coming from behind the counter filled the café's high ceilings, the whole setting became a place of serene escape.
Always great coffee, both dine in and takeaways. The croissants are delicious too. Lovely and friendly service.

Set in what feels like a 1920s hotel in New York with some bank vault feels, this seemingly small coffee place definitely delivers. Seems they do coffee on rotation from different places with Reuben Hills featuring some amazing roasts. Friendly staff, chilled vibes, delicious coffee and the food looks amazing too!
Best flat white I had on my vacation here. It was smooth and creamy. The service was great, appreciated them allowing us to enjoy some cakes we had bought at the Wednesday city markets. They are housed in a beautiful building and have a variety of seating arrangements ranging from sofa seats to high chairs.
Epic coffee ( Reuben Hills ). With Baristas who know how to make a great coffee. Staff are awesome, happy faces, just what you want to see. Food is good!
Hands down the best mocha in Brissy. Be even better if they had a few more staff on in busy periods.
