We love this place great staff, great coffee, fantastic food (although i had just abit to much sause on my eggs benidict, but to much is better than not enough). Staff are incredibly friendly, keep up the good work.
Word gets around & sure enough weekend brunch at this popular suburban cafe was a delight! There's good menu options, really personable service & a laidback vibe.
Our awesome foursome ordered • mushrooms
• breakfast bruschetta • warm green breakfast bowl • french toast. We included the suggested extras with our meals which rounded them out nicely (Husbandio & I agreed that otherwise ours might have been a bit flat). Some of us even added a few extras-on-extras cos that's how they roll... ;)
Same rascal also sneakily secured the last of the most incredible ricotta donuts I've ever tasted for our table. You won't believe your mouth! Light, soft and cinnamon-ey, they had me licking my sugary fingers long after a socially acceptable timeframe had elapsed. They're only made on Saturdays I think so quick sticks for these bad boys before they sell out!
A couple small niggles meant our meals weren't quiiiite perfect but that's cool, we'd still return because of the outstanding staff & especially for more donuts.
This was a great find! Right on the corner of a cute block in Graceville stands Honour Espresso - gorgeous cafe, supported by many locals and regulars and their four legged friends.
I've said this about a lot of places but I love that the decor here is minimalistic - less clutter. Seating options both inside and outside - we opted to sit outside and make the most of the morning. It was a little warm but their massive fans outside did the trick and kept us comfortable.
The staff are so, so friendly. Not just with the diners but the diners dogs as well. It seemed like each of the wait staff had treats in their pockets so almost each time they walked past, each pup received a treat.
It is counter service here. I, for one, am not fussed about this because it means I can have a good look around and check out their goodies inside. I was not disappointed by the delicious treats inside. Ricotta donuts, savoury muffins, small cakes ... I was in heaven. So while ordering our breakfast and coffees, my tummy forced me to get the donuts too. Not just one, I needed 3. Alongside our donuts and my bowl of mocha, I ordered the grilled haloumi on toast with rocket, corn, cherry tomato salad, tomato relish, garlic aioli and a side of double streaked bacon and rosemary chips. The portion is huge! (definitely not complaining). I loved everything on my plate - the salad was so fresh, the bacon crispy, chips crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, toast cooked for just the right amount of time and haloumi just the way I like it - golden and squeaky with each bite.
A massive breakfast cooked by expert hands with familiar and honest flavours. I most definitely recommend this cafe to everyone.
What a fantastic start to the morning! A massive thankyou to the staff firstly for making the experience here a memorable one. This cafe is the perfect size, not to big and not to small, right amount of seating to cater for every man, woman and there dog.
The menu isnt quite that extensive but they make up for it in serving size. Started off with my coffee and to my suprise is served in a massive mug which they refer to as the "bowl", great coffee which was accompanied by 3 donut balls that were fried perfectly.
Main was the field mushroom dish with double smoked streaky bacon and sour dough toast as extras, this dish was phnomonal, the salad had feta and the field mushrooms through it, the spinach remained crisp because it wasnt drowning in olive oil or any other dressing, would have liked the eggs to be a little runny but nevertheless great tasting. Found the bacon tasted great just a tad to dry. Overall an absolute brilliant brekky.
The shout out to the staff, you have a great thing going here and your welcoming gestures to the guests and fury friends is on point, the fact that you guys are ever so accommodating to all creatures great and small makes it that more enjoyable. The staff also carry around dog treats in a little pouch on them and feed the dogs as they pass by the customers that bring animals. This together with your quick service with great presentation of food is just amazing. Will be recommending this place without a second thought. Thankyou Honour Espresso.
Great little cafe on Honour Av! I had the pancakes which were really lovely- it's hard to find pancakes on a breaky menu these days, which is why I love this place so much. Good coffee too!

+4.5
I am an idiot Lycra clad cyclist and I love to do nothing but yell about how awesome being in middle management is at 5am. But enough about me, I go here for my morning coffee, cause that's the hip thing to do after my morning road hogging.
Na, I am not really. I hate them. But this place has good coffee.
I was surprised to see this suburban cafe being nearly full at 11am!
Yes there were dogs and bikes but they didn't bother me - I am a cyclist myself and I like dogs :) They didn't cause any troubles [and luckily they didn't stink ~]
I went by myself and I spotted one single table which wasn't cleaned. The waitress was very nice to have it cleaned up soon for me + to get a "Reserved" sign [so that I won't lose my table]. All staff are nice, cheerful and helpful - guess they must be on drugs (or coffee) that day and it doesn't happen very often in the food industry ~ :P
My breakfast was good - the turkish bread was ovened perfectly - crispy and cut to the right size (thick!~)
the salad was simple but quite refreshing.
the coffee was good - thick and a bit bitter (to my liking)
Would definitely recommend this cafe to everyone - good to have a few nice breakfast cafes in the neighbourhood!
Food descriptions twee, but food was very good and fast presentation. Coffee ok. Doughnuts looked good. However, and I know it's not the cafe's fault, but clientele here were horrendous. Bikes and dogs. A Graceville thing? Perhaps I lacked Kama, and another review is indicated.
Discovered this place when I had the dinner at Boucher the other day. Drove there to have a light brekky the next morning. It opened very early morning and was already full of regulars when I arrived. There were many locals coming to enjoy the morning gathering with their pets. Walked in and found that they did have a characteristic set-up. Service was very friendly even though I looked like a stranger among the customers. Coffee was perfect with strength, smoothness and nice presentation. The Banana Bread was presented with a nice-looking plate. It looked classy and tasted good with appropriate amount of moisturized texture. I wonder why the Graceville locals are so lucky to have such a good place for coffee and brekky.
Amazing. This place has the friendliest staff in Brisbane. They have a new menu and it’s amazing! Food/coffee/service is outstanding !!!
Came for the coffee, stayed for the food. Got the "Queen of Spades" (aka the chicken burger), it was amazing. Plus, seriously the best chips I've ever had, which were still tasty after I thought I was finished and accidentally let them get cold. Such a step up from the old menu. It's top quality food and beautiful presentation with the same casual cafe feel that they had before. Coffee is still excellent. Staff are very friendly.
Pear, Chickpea Salad. Fantastic. New menu at Honours is wonderful. My favourite cafe just gets better.
Consistently good. Always good reliable coffee and service here. Nice laid back atmosphere.
Good value for money. Came here for breakfast last Friday, and was really impressed by the value. My dad got an English muffin with an egg, ham and hollandaise sauce for $7.50! I got the sourdough with banana ricotta walnuts and honey, also for $7.50. Servings weren't huge, but the price is really affordable (so you can easily justify getting a biscuit or slice after). My dad got a coffee and I got a mocha which was great (although they forgot to stir in the hot chocolate powder). Will be back to try some of their home-baked biscuits and slices soon! Decoration and ambiance is hip and cool.
Awesome. Best coffee in Brisbane. Best staff in Brisbane. Simple avocado on toast is somehow delicious.
Unique & Warm. The staff are the key to their success! Friendly, warm & humorous! They even say g'day when your only walking past their shop. I love the little choc wafer you receive when ordering hot chocolate!
Great local coffee shop. Drive too fast and you might miss it, but it's the best coffee in Graceville. Fast and friendly service as well as a good simple range of food including Mimsy's doughnuts on Saturday which are insanely delicious!
A great addition to the local scene. Importantly the coffee is always good. A great range of simple food means that quality is always high. Service is fast and friendly. Of all the places in Graceville this is always my first choice.
Honour espresso serves sensational coffee. The barista uses his own line of beans, so you may not find a coffee like honour espressos anywhere in Brisbane.
Best coffee shop on the Graceville strip. Excellent coffee, simple yet delicious paninis and friendly staff. A winning combination!
Very nice. Though indoor could be a bit warm and tables outside could be a bit noisy to enjoy a nice chat, they are really good in many ways... nice coffee, nice setting and good location. I love their cheekiness too!
Best coffee in Graceville .... And most of the surrounding suburbs!
This little place works hard to provide really good coffee (their own blend) and delicious snacks like ricotta doughnuts.
I suspect that the only reason it hasn't been reviewed here so far is because all the locals want to keep it to themselves.
Do yourself a favour and try this coffee!
One of the best cafes in the area. Great coffee and breakfasts; the French toast is awesome. Friendly staff too.
I've been coming to this cafe since it opened but haven't visited in the last couple of months, until today. Still as great as ever.
really nice coffee here. I had avocado on toast with feta which was tasty. the service was super friendly too. go up to the counter to order and there's seating inside and outside.
Have to be one of the slickest little places to have a coffee in Brisbane has a nice atmosphere, always busy and above all GREAT COFFEE! Grab a coffee or you might opt to choose something to eat also. Each coffee comes with a tiny little wafer biscuit on the teaspoon. Staff are friendly. Parking available in the street and on Honor Ave, but get in early as it gets busy along this strip. They're open 6am every day, closing at 12pm on weekends and 3pm during the week. Best spot for an early coffee.
The coffee is soooooo good
Best consistant coffee around. You can tell a good coffee shop by the number of customers there on a regular basis. After 7.30am on a Saturday it is always packed. Food is simple and tasty. More shade than Three Girls as well.
Excellent coffee.. very yummy house made cakes and treats and bloody excellent quirky staff. It's everything you want in a good local coffee shop.
Great local cafe close to Graceville train station really friendly bubbly staff, excellent coffee, and on Saturdays they have freshly made homemade donuts that are delicious! Highly recommend this cute eatery! Louise Booth
