French cuisine at its finest here in Graceville Brisbane Australia. The service and food was excellent! Of course you will expect to pay premium prices for this quality. The ambience was nice with the low lighting. You would need to book in advance if you plan to go during peak hours like weekends. Highly recommend. 👍😎

Very impressive food and service - altogether prompt in all aspects. The staff were knowledgeable, unobtrusive while still attentive. I had the rump with side of fois gras as the main following my entree of roast snail. The style is warm and intimate and you can feel the buzz in the ambience. It's a certain repeat visit establishment.

We went for Valentine's Day 2021. The entree and the main were fabulous. I think the desserts can be better though - the presentation was a bit off. Services were pretty quick, and the staffs were friendly. I would definitely come back to this French Bistro to try out their other food.

Excellent wait staff who were all Friendly and attentive. We came with our 2.5 year old and one of the staff even offered to take him for a walk or look after him while we ate. Fabulous food. The beef tartare was very nice so was the bouillabaisse and the steak. Can’t complain.

Our family of 4 are Boucher's regulars and we had numerous functions, parties and special occasion meals at Bucher of the last 7+ years. Hence, this review is not about just one particular experience but our overall feeling about this little "gem of Graceville". FOOD: we LOVE the current menu - scallops as an entre are juice and flavoursome and so are the prawns. My husband loves the brioche with French pate (it's of best quality foie gras). Their duck is always beautifully done and steaks with pommes frittes are our kids' favourite. Chef is always masterful when preparing various varieties of fish - we love his take on barramundi and swordfish (always moist and juicy). For a dissert our daughter is obsesses with the "milles fuille" ('a thousand leaves cake") and their chocolate cake is very rich and moist. I love a good affogato - which they serve with a liquor if preferred. SERVICE: Boucher staff are always courteous and they make us feel welcome every time. Some days - when they are very busy - they may not have time to engage as much - but that is completely understandable. We love Maude and the Swedish lady serving us (I should know here name by now! sorry) but all the staff are usually lovely. The younger staff may need to be reminded to bring certain things (like extra bread or more wine etc) and one has to be very clear with them when ordering food - to avoid misunderstandings and confusion - but that's the case in all restaurants where the staff are in their late teens or early 20s. Boucher has stayed open during all of the Covid-19 lockdown times in 2020 and 2021 and have provided many family meals for us at very reasonable prices during these challenging times. We would not hesitate to recommend Boucher to friends and often bring international or interstate visitors for a 'special meal' there - and we know that Boucher will deliver on quality, ambiance and overall experience.

We've been here a few times and it's been wonderful each time. The food is always cooked perfectly, so rich and full of flavour. Love it! You also get good portion sizes for a decent price. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good French cuisine.
