Went here with the parents for a late weeknight dinner. Ordered the shaking pepper beef, combination vermicelli and combination hu tieu noodle soup. Fresh ingredients with various homely textures and flavours.
Casual ambience. Friendly and efficient service. Reasonable prices.
A good Vietnamese option in bustling Sunnybank Market Square.
Came on a Sunday night with a group. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the grilled pork vermicelli salad. Two words: fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced too. Had the hot tea which was very subtle in flavour. Eager to return and try more of the menu.
The wonton soup on the entree is good value for $8. I would recommend it if you aren’t that hungry. I really liked both the wontons and the slices of beef, and appreciated the vegetables they put in there too (cabbage, onions and celery among other things).
My friend got the wonton noodle soup ($13) which is pretty much the wonton soup with egg noodles so thin that they resembled ramen. I was surprised, but apparently that’s the standard. Regardless, I’d like to come back and try it.
Huge portions fast service
Cannot complain about this restaurant
One of our favorites
My favorite is the spring roll Vietnamese bowl dish
Food is served very fast
No bookings needed
Drinks available
Come here if you’re after fresh, quality viet food for a low price.
Food here is always brought out quickly with no troubles and service is quite adequate. My recommendation would be the spring roll and sugarcane prawn vermicelli bowl; it was very filling and only $14!!
The only downside is it’s always annoying trying to weave yourself in and out of the seats, it’s quite cramped in there especially when it’s busy..you can’t move your chair back without bumping the person behind you or asking if they can move forward.
It is my first meal in brisbane. My boss recomment this menu. It was super nice. This pho is better than it I ate in korea. I recommend to eat with hoisin sauce:)
The decor is very basic in fact it reminds me a little of a Greek cafe of the 1950s with basic tables and chairs and mirrored walls. Having said that the restaurant is very clean. We have been there quite a few times and it is always very busy. The service is acceptable but not exceptional and to have two meals served simultaneously does not happen often. Nevertheless you are not paying for an expensive silver service restaurant that would charge 3 times the amount. What is exceptional is the food. It is excellent, plentiful and well presented. From the spring rolls to the sugar cane prawns and sizzling mongolian beef all were perfect. This is a great cafe/restaurant to eat if you like very good food at a reasonable price.
Walking towards Pho Hung at lunchtime we see a handful of vacant tables. Walking in, we are greeted by a smiling waiter and given our menus. I look around and see diners slurping on their hot soup noodles. A positive sign, so we order two bowls of soup noodles.
It's been 8 months since my last bowl of noodles here. The Owner/Cashier keeps an attentive eye on diners, directing wait staff to several tables. Our soup noodles arrive steaming hot! My Large (Combination) Pho Dac Biet ($13.50) does not disappoint, with a large serve of noodles and fresh beef cuts. And unlike my last 3 bowls of Beef Pho at other restaurants, this large serving is very satisfying.
Rating: 4.5/5.0
Phuong Tran likes the flavoursome hot broth of her Bun Bo Hue ($11.00) and is impressed with the large serve of fresh (sliced) pork hock. She is unable to finish this regular serve.

Restaurants that provide fresh tasty food at a reasonable price are winners to me every time. It is interesting that the food here is superior to their flash sister restaurant at Garden City. Well done Pho Hung, Sunnybank!
We felt like pho tonight and didn't want to drive to Inala and we have always walked past this place a few times. So tonight on a cold, wet and windy night we decided to pop in.
We were seated and they got us a baby chair seeing we had our daughter with us.
The table and chairs are what you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, minimal fuss table and chairs.
We ordered the pho special, both in medium and along with viet iced coffee and lime soda. Drinks arrived first alomg with our side of bean sprouts, lemon, fresh chilli and basil, larger serving but was for 2.
Pho was hot, clear and not oily which was a good starting point. Pho was good, plenty of meat and noodles the medium bowl was enough, could just finish it with the coffee.
Will need to go back and try some other dishes, menu is quiey large. Service was average, nothing more to say.
Go back, that's a yes for sure.
Yum yum yum! Want a quick and delicious meal without the hefty price tag? Look no further. We came here twice recently when we had a relative in Sunnybank Hospital. Their dishes are really yummy and again, those three magical letters - BYO 👌🏻
Lets start with the food, we ordered rice paper rolls and spring rolls for starters which were quite nice. The rice paper rolls were fresh but lacked flavour, the spring rolls were enjoyabe and weren't too oily. For mains we ordered the pork and springroll noodle salad and salt and pepper soft shell crab. The noodle salad was quite filling and the pork was cooked nicely and had a good flavour to it. The soft shell crab was the highlight of the night for me. It was very well prepared and the batter was nicely flavoured and seasoned. The dish had a nice spiciness to it which wasn't too overpowering and was enjoyable.
The service was quite good, the staff were attentive and the food was served on time.
The place was however a bit cramped as it was full throughout the night which was a good sign I guess, but definitely book in advance for the weekends.
I always dine here. Friendly staff. However, some staff are not helpful at all and comes accross as very rude. The food here is god but a little pricey!
Cheap, fast, tasty food. It's hard to find tasty vegetarian meals but this place does a great job. The inside isn't anything special but the food is worth returning for.
The staff members could also use some customer service training, a smile wouldn't kill them.
The noodle dishes both the pho and bun (vermicelli) are good (the pho is better) and their claypot fish is excellent.
Other than that I wouldn't recommend any other dishes here. Not a fan of their stirfries and rice dishes.
Been here for dinner and lunch at different occasions . Tasty, edible, authentic and affordable food . We always drop in for a take away Vietnamese ice coffee even if we aren't eating there.
Went at lunch time and ordered good standard Vietnamese noodle/pork/chicken dishes. Waiting time was appropriate and serves generous but very light on meat and vegetables in the dishes.
Was nevertheless a nice and tasty lunch served with delicious green tea on the side. Will attend again and opt for a different kind of dish.
Service was polite and swift
Been here last week with my friends, we ordered: special combination beef pho, vermicelli bowl, broken rice, vegetarian spring rolls, and vegetarian fried rice. We also ordered rice paper wrap and do the wrapping ourselves, since my friends are Vietnamese. Had a nice dinner with large portions which is worth the price. I personally love the pho which has a lot of meat but does not taste heavy. Will definitely come back here later in future :)
Great Pho, fantastic flavor, I would say easily best in Brisbane from those I've tried elsewhere. Super fast Pho service, delicious toppings, sauce, clean place, staff are friendly enough.
Two words to say. 'SPECIAL BEEF'. Love Vietnamese food easy, simple delicious everytime. I must say this one at Sunnybank is the new favourite, I grew up in West end eating at Trang's, so saying it's comparable is putting it up there. Grab the upsize portion at $13 you will thank me.
Slick Chef Extraordinaire. Gangster Of Food.

Some of the best Pho I've had in Brisbane! It's cheap, delicious and huge serving size, definitely one of my favorite places to go in Sunnybank for sure!
This is authentic as it comes. As a Vietnamese person, I would consider this one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have tried in Brisbane. I have tried a number of their dishes including rice dishes, dry noodles and soups and have found majority of their dishes very well flavoured. The flavours are exactly, if not very similar to how it should be. Food always comes out quickly.
Fast, cheap, tasty viet food. One of the better viet places in Sunnybank. The vermicelli salad is always fresh & you get a good proportion of salad. I opted for the vegetarian spring rolls which still retained their crunch when dressing was added and had an adequate pepper flavour.
When I want to have Vietnamese beef noodle soup, I always think of this restaurant. The soup base is really rich. I normally order beef and beef ball rice noodle soup.
This spring rolls are yummy too! For drinks, I love their iced white coffee or 'three color'.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Sunnybank area. It's generally busy but turnover is quick so you don't have to wait long. Their food doesn't have a lot of MSG like other Asian places, good serving sizes and always fill me up. I definitely go here for my Vietnamese fix when I'm too lazy to cook. One of my favorite dishes is the spicy beef noodle soup and pho.
My fave Vietnamese place. I can't count how many times I have eaten here! All my friends love it too-cheap, quick, and delicious. My fave dish is BBQ Pork & Wonton Noodle Soup, with a big scoop of chili thrown in. The staff are always friendly too, which makes it a pleasure to return here again and again
Best Vietnamese Around. After returning from a Vietnam holiday a few years ago, I was really looking forward to eating more of this great cuisine. I have since eaten a lot of Vietnamese food, especially at Pho Hung.
In my opinion, they have the best Pho in town. The broth is clean and flavoursome and everything is freshly presented. The other must try dish is Ginger Beef. But don't stop there, it is all good.
There are always plenty of diners, but food arrives very quickly and with minimal fuss.
Great food and service with very reasonable prices make Pho Hung a must for those wanting a taste of Vietnam in BrisVegas

Love the beef and beef ball pho! Also highly recommend any bun (grilled pork is my favourite!). Great prices and dish sizes!
Decently priced and generous serving sizes. Service also quick and kind. However tea cups smelt of strong bleach and pork chops were swimming in oil.
Cheap and delicious Vietnamese on the southside. Have been to Pho Hung 2 weeks in a row now and both times I've been impressed. Had combination pho both times (had a small size by myself - $7.50) and shared a large size the second time for $9.50. Also share the grilled beef and sugar prawn DIY rice paper rolls the second time ($15). The combination pho is delicious - lots of meat and noodles, and the broth is just right, not too salty like some other pho I've had and doesn't taste like there's any MSG in it. Both the large pho and the DIY rice paper rolls are huge. With the rice paper rolls you get 7 rice papers to soak yourself. You also get a wide variety of things to put in it apart from the beef and prawns. If you're wondering they use "Three Sisters" rice paper, which the waitress reckons is the best, and it is because it just does not break at all! Service was good, they asked us how our meal was at the end, and seeing as we're asian, this does not usually occur when we dine at Market Square, it was a pleasant surprise!
Will definitely keep eating here, I think the line outside on a Wednesday night just shows how good this place is!
This has to be the best place in brisssy for pho outside of my friends Vietnamese kitchen. I stumbled on this little gem while taking a trip out to sunnybank in search for some good Asian food & I definitely will be back!. the setting is not upmarket & the food is cheap $8.50 for a medium pho with all the trimmings to flavour as u like. If you're looking for some good Vietnamese & live close to sunnybank put this on ur list of places to visit.
Name says what it does best pho ask for pickled onion on the side great consistent soup I have been coming here for 7yrs try a small bowl of special beef or try the pho combination for the more adventurous palate they make bubble tea too!
Great, cheap, satisfying meals.. This is my favourite place to go for pho, the only drawback being that I live really far away! I always get the Pho Tai - thin slices of rare beef served in a tasty broth, with rice noodles and a plate of fresh beansprouts, basil and a wedge of lemon. I always feel better after eating pho! The beef cooks gently in the hot soup, and there are some great condiments on all the tables. They've got that delicious chilli sauce that I only seem to come across in Vietnamese restaurants. The menu also has a lot of other Viet dishes.
All of the staff speak English well and a medium bowl of soup is around $8. Try the ice lemon tea!
