Took the promo from the EatClub with 25% off bill to have a dinner at this Italian restaurant last Thursday. We went in a group of three and ordered the daily special pizza with chicken, prosciutto and avocado, spaghetti with prawns and ravioli marinara.
Sauces on both pasta were tasteful and so as the portions of seafood. Having said that the downsides were the prosciutto on the pizza was all burnt and the spaghetti was bland and we have to add salt to make it good.
Overall impression was average this time.

Great ambiance with amazing food great for takeaway and fast friendly staff great for a night out with friends and a great range of Italian food
Gino's is a great family restaurant. I always like the food here and so do the kids. Great friendly service and good price range. The ambience is very relaxed
We love this place. It's so casual. Food is always good. Brilliant service. Pizzas are the best. Pasta is good too but I think is lacking something and needs a little oomph. I think it needs a little revamp to make it feel more authentic Italian and gain a little more street appeal. It's nice and casual and we just can't get past the service and value for money. It's not fine dining but you certainly leave satisfied and full. Would recommend
Best authentic Italian restaurant in Brisbane. Located on the busy Kingsford Smith Drive, with parking available in side streets/ signed parking area for the restaurant. As soon as you close the front door you can't hear any traffic or current roadworks.
Dated tables & chairs but very comfortable to sit on (like visiting an Italian Nona's home) .Restaurant updated since I was last here.
Food great value for money & fresh. Good serves & service.
Pizzas are fantastic. Takeaway also available.
We had a group of 12, celebrating a birthday. One waitress for the whole restaurant was run off her feet. There were also several other tables occupied.
If we asked the waitress for something, she was able to accommodate us without any problems. She even arranged sparklers for the cake & took a group photo of us all.
Will be returning in the future- my favourite Italian restaurant
Good home style Italian food, had I been at home I'd of licked the plate.
Great work Gino's ... The same classic 1970's Italian you have served for 30 years. Ignore the critics and stick with your classic Italian comfort food. If your into carb free or paleo eat elesewhere and all the more for us real consumers !!
Brisvagas Italian restaurant. This place rocks , not over priced straight forward Italian food , cant believe the negative reviews it's getting?? do yourself a favor give it a go. $50bucks take a date .
Old simple family run, some of the people I go with love the food, it's very basic easy Italian don't expect gourmet for $15. I prefer the takeaway $10 pizza - meat or chicken also basic but yum.
One of my favorite Brisbane Restaurants. Been going since I was a baby. Amazing service and great home style meals at a fair price. I think the neg reviews must be from competing businesses. It's a must. Love it, especially the closed pizzas.
Solid basic homestyle cooking. Well run and waitresses always well trained. Dated decor but that doesn't matter when you're after a good feed.
Homestyle restaurant. Homestyle Italian cooking, service and decor. nice food, reasonable price. Big restaurant and a little too bright.
Have been going there for years, the food is simple but good, the service is excellent and it is reasonable priced what more could you ask. Don't mess with a proven formula well done guys.
Choices are the classic offerings of pasta, pizza, veal and chicken as well as simple salads and frozen desserts. Between us we ordered a pizza, Schnitzel and Spaghetti, classic Veal Parmiagana and Veal Scallopini Funghi - all mains are priced between $22 - $25. The meals arrived quickly but I think we were wise to get in early as the tables started to fill and the demand on the large kitchen increased. The size of the Schnitzel and Spaghetti had to be seen to believed. It was enormous! Other meals were just as big and two came with a small side salad. This is definitley a place to come if you want an easy, relaxed night where you can laugh, let the kids wander around and know that you're going to be well fed. Simple flavours, big portions and small prices keep the crowds coming in. I hope I don't leave it as long before my next visit. Price: 2 Mains, 1/2 Garlic Pizza, 1 dessert - $55 Tip: Park across the road in the empty carpark that belonged to (now closed) Brett's Wharf Gino's 468
Ginos has been a staple speedy Italian cuisine on the landscape of ascot Hamilton dining precinct for the last 41 years is the Chiefs consistent service ! this Time service is quick speedy without fuss very recommended !
menu is traditional standard Italian fair spaghetti pasta pizza
Overall a great family environment. We ordered a range of stuff and all shared. The pizza was great, with the exception of the calzone ones they are far too dry. The traditional lasagna was unusual it comes in an almost soup like bowl, and is very wet, it wasn't too bad but certainly not amazing. They also stocked some traditional drinks and the pricing for families was good, not over priced at all. Overall walked away happy.
