We enjoyed a very filling breakfast here with great service. Also very efficient covid restrictions in place. My order was the fritters which came in a stack of 3 with half an avocado. Fritters had a lovely crispy finish with fluffy potato inside. Partner ordered the liver & bacon & said it was very tasty. Coffee wasn't strong enough for me with a double shot, however it was remade for me as soon as I mentioned it & was very good second time around
Just had breakfast here. The portion sizes are great and food is such good quality. Highly recommend!

Love the food, atmosphere and the service here. Never disappointed! Always busy so you may have wait a little while for a seat, but it just proves how good and popular it is. I love how they top the drinks with fairy floss too🍭🍭

Ramekins Cafe always seems to be thriving and never short of customers which is always a positive sign.
There is a good range of items on the menu to suit everyone’s tastes. I had been wanting to try their new item, the Southern Fried chicken Benny. I probably would have expected a little more with the flavours. Firstly I must say that the chicken was juicy, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. I thought the addition of the slaw was a little pointless although it did add some freshness to the dish. The dish definitely lacked a little sweetness so maybe even the addition of a maple waffle as opposed to sourdough would spark it up a little and add another dimension.
The other dish which was the apple and salted caramel waffle was quite nice. The flavours worked well and the apple was cooked perfectly. The only criticism I have, is regarding the salted caramel sauce. I’m almost certain that this is a store bought syrup. A delicious thick, home made
salted caramel sauce instead would go down an absolute treat.
Ramekins does a damn good breakfast. Each time I come here I switch between a sweet and savoury item. For sweet: the Nutella crepes. Oh boy these are delicious, with dollops of Nutella, soft crepes that are crisped at the edges and a well-made coffee in tow, this is a breakfast I drive 35 minutes across town for. Not into sweet breakfast? You have a pick of your savoury options, the big breakfast is a stand out (pictured) because every single thing they put on the plate is cooked perfectly. Service is friendly and quick, it does get busy so might be worth getting in earlier or booking particularly in very hot/cold weather if you want a seat inside, but if it's sunny Qld weather sit outside, they have umbrellas for shade.
Really enjoyed brunch here! Great service, nice atmosphere, good coffee and the food was really nice! Decently priced considering the high prices some cafes charge, which is always a plus. It's easy to get to as well and I'm sure I'll be back - I really want to try their shakes!

In love with the delicate decor and little flower vase on each table. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Just the system was a bit confusing that we had to wait to be seated. We brought to a table and were given menus, but got to order and pay at the counter. The drinking water and glasses were provided at the outside seating area, and it wasn't refilled at that time. If they insisted this system working for them, someone gotta look after it to make sure there's always enough water for customers.
We were sitting near the counter and seeing what was going on. We thought the system could have been more organised. It's such a small room inside and they got people queuing for ordering and paying, and the queue blocked the tiny way where food and drink were coming out (including their supplier deliveries).
Elixir coffee was served here. We ordered a soy latte and a flat white; nice golden creama sealing on top, no latte art, not hot enough and very bitter. Didn't enjoy the coffee.
For breakfast, we had a savoury muffin served with tomato relish. The muffin itself was bland, but slightly better with the relish. We also had a sweet potato fritter and son in law egg. The meal looked nice and got lots of components in it. Though we loved the idea and it's presentation, we were not impressed with its sweet taste and combination. It's quite overpriced here too.

Love love LOVE this place! Amazing coffee, delicious food and great customer service! I particularly love the smashed avocado with Haloumi, although there is heaps to choose from. The Thai Beef Salad is another winner!
Love this cafe! Always great service and amazing food! Well presented! Everything is delicious! We drive almost 30 mins to go here after moving away from the area a few years ago. I forgot to take a photo of breakfast as we ate it too quickly!
Carseldine is usually somewhere I drive through briefly en route to the Sunshine Coast. Recently though it has become a destination point in its own right, thanks to one particular cafe serving up some super impressive eats.Ramekins Cafe is in Carseldine Central, just off Gympie Rd. It aims to provide northsiders with a relaxing place to settle down with good food and coffee.
An exciting find on the Northside. Great atmosphere and decor - the food looks delightful and has flavour to match. Everything on the menu is tempting and reasonably priced for a boutique cafe. The staff are lovely and service is really quick (depending on when you eat).
Always flooded with customers, Ramekins is a gem to Carseldine and its surrounding suburbs. Producing amazing smoothies/thick shakes, Ramekins is a must for anyone passing through. Although, the prices are a bit hefty the service and food is extremely good. It would be good to see some competition pop up in the are to give Ramekins a run for its money.
It is always great when you find a place you can depend on for good food and service. Ramekins is one of these and I am always quick to recommend it. There is a new roof going over the Alfresco, just in time for
Summer which is great so I will be back soon....
Favourite local restaurant. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Can be quite busy on the weekends but is well worth it. Food is always tasty! Never been disappointed and the drinks are a showstopper!
Busy little cafe on the northside serving up breakfast, brunch and lunch. There can sometimes be a bit of wait for a table on the weekends for brunch, but generally only around 10 minutes. They have a great brunch selection, but on my last visit I order good old faithful - Smashed Avocado with poached eggs, perfectly cooked eggs and lots of avocado. Their eggs benny look awesome, I will be back to try them soon.
Little gem in Carseldine. Great coffee, delish meals - been here numerous times for brekkie & lunch. I always try and make a booking to request a table out of the sun (even with umbrella's those of us with fair skin still catch the Rays) and I've never had a problem.

Hands down best feed! Eggs benny 👌🏻 fritters 👌🏻 are definitely the winners for breakfast. Brissy cheese steak sandwich always goes down a treat for lunch
Monday breakfasts!!! So so so good, I had the cauliflower and silver-beet fritters: presentation was amazing, cook beautiful. I also get a summer sweetener juice, freshly made juice in the morning who could ask for more!!! My friend at the Nutella French crepes: they taste even more heavenly than they look! The staff were so nice!! The cafe was setup up lovely!!!!
Would most definitely recommend Ramekins to anyone and everyone. Will be back there soon
Went for breakfast here this morning with my partner and both got the eggs Benedict with salmon, food was really good and so were our smoothies. Everything was reasonably priced. The service was good, however they forgot one of our meals so we were left with one plate of food and waited 15 minutes for the other two come out. Would have been much nicer to take the original plate back and bring out two fresh ones at the same time.
Came here on a quiet Thursday afternoon and ordered a strawberry and mint ice tea and a snickers smoothie. The smoothie was delicious and indeed tasted like a snickers. The ice tea, while refreshing, was rather bland even with the sugar syrup. The food looks great but seems overpriced.
We came here on a Saturday morning which was relatively busy. The service was efficient and staff were friendly. The food is quite overpriced as $20 for the big breakfast and $17 for the wagyu burger. The flavours were good but for the price, I don't think we'll be returning soon as there are so many better breakfast/brunch spots that are priced competitively.
I found myself in a new undiscovered area today and was unsure what to do. Instagram pointed me in the direction of Ramekins Cafe in Carseldine. We definitely were not disappointed…. I don’t say it lightly when I say that it took us a very long time to decide what to choose on the menu… In the end I dove in and had breakfast for lunch with the Zuchinni and Kale Fritters with green goddess sauce of fresh herbs, mayo and yoghurt topped with a poached egg and Yarra Valley Persian fetta $15 (GF,V). I am not convinced on the accompanying sauce but the rest was a good size and very tasty.
I love Ramekins and always have, can honestly say I've never had a bad meal there. However, prices for certain meals are getting quite overpriced and I only recognise this because I've been going for years (e.g eggs benny used to only cost $13-$14 now it's easily $15-$18 plus the cost of bacon ) and the portion sizes are somehow smaller..? Would really love for ramekins to bring back the "feel" that place used to have before it upped the prices and it became more popular. Gave them a 4/5 due to the slowly increasing prices of food. :)
Great cafe! Gets really busy on the weekends, but for good reason. The snickers smoothie is incredible! I had the bacon and eggs with added chorizo sausage and hash browns. It was all delicious, ill get the same thing again (minus the sausage, it was good but just a bit much for me all together!)
Our first visit to Ramekins Cafe for Sunday breakfast. It was very busy and quite noisy but it was a rainy morning so the inside tables were popular. The staff were polite and efficient, although our table reserved for 3 had 3 chairs but only 2 place settings and was quite cramped in the front corner. Good menu choices. I had the Sumac scrambled eggs + bacon and my husband and son both had the aptly named big breakfast. Food was delicious with large servings which kind of justified the cost. It was a fast turnaround with our orders arriving promptly and plates swiftly removed as each person finished. Overall a nice place to go for breakfast.
Wonderful every time!. We recently discovered this place and it's one of the nicest little cafés we've ever been too. The staff are so friendly, the food is always superb and although it's counter service they seem to churn through the crowds pretty quick. We were here last Sunday and they have tables all the way down to the restaurant at the end of the complex. Every seat was full and we were told we would have to wait about 20 minutes for our food. Meals and drinks were out within 15 minutes. All were spot on. Lambs fry was cooked perfectly!
Very well priced considering the food is amazing. Very fresh full of taste and looks amazing. Also can't go wrong with elixir coffee. Best cafe on the Northside hands down

A real gem!. Very Friendly staff, exceptional service... great menu, including Gluten Free... I had the Breakfast Burger and it was to die for... Elixir Coffee is devine... Sunday mornings are very busy so you need to book.. You won't be disappointed... Love it and will go back!!

It is wonderful to have a meal in close proximity to home.

Consistently Good. Always a good meal at Ramekins! It's our local café, and it never disappoints. Food has great flavour and is always presented nicely and always the same! Very consistent! For the price of meals the quality is good, however table service should be re introduced! Coffee is alright, could have a better bean.

WOW where do I start the food is amazing, the service is fantastic the staff are so welcoming nothing is to much trouble. They also stock some lovely giftware but the clothing they have is beautiful and exclusive. Well done Ramekins Cafe we can't wait to see you all again!

I was in the area and stopped in at Ramekins for lunch. Wonderful cafe. Great food and service. I was so impressed that I am now organising a function here for a family member's birthday. The staff have been so accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food but not impressed with the service. What appeared to be the owners were rude and tried to overcharge us by 40 dollars. When I pointed out that the total was not right, the guy at the counter probably thought that saying sorry was not his style...not cheap either.

My husband and I went to Ramekins for breakfast and found the food an coffee great. He had lambs fry and bacon which was served with potato mash, and I had poached eggs with sausages. We found the prices to be on pad with other cafe's breakfast prices.
A real ladies cafe!. All of the tennis ladies love this little treasure of a cafe. Beef salad is my favourite! the coffee is always nice and hot. We will keep coming back thanks guys! Yet to try Friday dinner but heard its worth popping down for! See you all tomorrow!
Just awesome! They always use really fresh quality ingredients not like that crap from the chain cafe/restaurants. We particularly like taking the kids down of a Sunday for breakfast. Staff and owners are always really friendly and good for a laugh. Stay the same guys we love it there (along with the rest of the Carseldine community)!

Breakfast was okay, ordered eggs benedict with mushrooms, eggs were over cooked and mushrooms not added as requested, a little expensive compared to other local cafes. Should offer a package breakfast deal with coffee. I give it 3 of 5 stars, good but can be better. Get the order right and cook the eggs right and it would be 4 of 5 stars. Maybe next time.
Our New Breakfast Spot. Finally we have a nice cafe to breakfast at on the northside of Brisbane! Lovely fit out, delicious food, friendly and efficient service, reasonable prices, all great! We'll be back next weekend.

I was super impressed with Ramkins Cafe, the staff where friendly, it is nicely decorated, food was out quickly and it was delicious! (its hard to find quality hollandaise sauce, but it was great!) I have already organized my next visit. x
I was quite impressed with Ramekins. Cool, calm and relaxed for a nice Saturday morning breaky. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was really good. Prices weren't anything to write home about, just standard cafe prices. I'll definitely be returning here on my weekend mornings to come.
Impressive. Wasnt until i ventured around to qml that i realised this cafe existed and i shop in the complex every week! wish id discovered it sooner. nice change to the bland coffee ive been drinking from the other coffee house in the centre. di bella coffee is my favourite! food was reasonably priced and delicious. my daughter had the risotto and my friend and i had the lambs fry and bacon! very busy when we went and service and staff was great.

Stumbled across this little gem of a cafe. Magnificently seasonal, fresh food. Everything made in house. We were the chef's guinea pigs for his new dessert - baklava cheesecake - best cake I've ever eaten! He is an absolute asset to this cafe. Really passionate about his craft and it def comes out in his food!

a nice suburban cafe with a spacious outdoor area, able to cater for large groups. service was efficient and friendly without being overly superficial. the food was nice but a little boring and small – the eggs benedict could use with a bit of greens, the savoury mince was a little one-dimensional and the extra side of mushroom for $3 was definitely too
Fantastic place for a relaxed meal - breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Interesting menu, both food and drink, with a few signature choices. The meals are flavourful and well portioned. The juice is fresh and chilled. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking and toilets on site.
Highly recommend for everyone to come here! Food is absolutely delicious and I had the best waffles I’ve ever had. I was blown away by the atmosphere of the restaurant (and how busy it was - for good reason). This place is a definite must go!

I had a great time here this morning. There was excellent service by the staff and they were helpful and accomodating. I had the Strawberry Waffles and they were absolutely yummy!! Would definately recommend to friends .

New place for eats from brekky to full functions. My Oh My at Brendale opposite Freddys camping store and in The Sheds group of shops. Great service, tasty food, excellent atmosphere and surroundings. We will most certainly be back.
What a fabulous find! Massive ceilings makes the place feel so open and airy, easy parking, and a great menu for VG/GFO. Cocktails were delicious / who doesn’t love fairy floss!🍹 We drove an hour to visit this place and it was sooo worth it! Make sure you book. It’s super popular.
