Revisited this cafe couple of weeks ago. Service keeps its consistent friendly attitude.
Ordered a flat white to go with a fruit scone with cream and jam. Food and beverage came to the table very quick. Coffee-wise, it fit my palate in terms of strength that was full body with strong aroma. Texture of fruit scone was let down but I loved the cream which was very light.

First time here to Degani, Calamvale. I Was not in too much of a hurry so I ordered the smashed avocado and looked around. There were plenty of chat going on with many of their clientele. One particular large table of about 24-26 people they looked happy.
My smashed avocado was simple and fresh. My only gripe was that the salt grinder was filled with salt flakes NOT rock salt. So it was all clogged up due to moisture, eventually got some salt out of it Apart from that I'll definitely be back. Thanks very much. SARDS
I bookmarked this cafe because of other Zomato reviews. It was a busy little cafe with indoor and outdoor eating areas. I ordered the smashed avocado. The food was great. I hadn’t tried fresh lime or sun dried tomato on my smashed avo before but they were welcome additions.
I also ordered the pomegranate and raspberry frappe which had a strong flavour but was refreshing.
It took a little while to order because of the line up but the food came out extremely quickly.
A couple little things could be improved. I had to ask for cutlery and a serviette. My number was also going to get taken away before I had my drink. Overall though a good experience and I will be back to try more items on the menu.
I love this place for an easy and well priced breakfast, their açaí bowl and corn fritters are both huge winners for me and my girlfriend. I love having my dog in the outside area as well.
Came here for breakfast one Saturday morning and got the Eggs Benedict with spinach and mushrooms. The food was solid and the restaurant had a busy Saturday morning vibe. The service was good too, our orders came out in a timely manner and the staff were very friendly.
Came here in Boxing Day due to most restaurants being closed. Decor was nice with welcoming feel. Friendly staff. Food was reasonable - enjoyed the chicken carbonara. Tried out the tumeric latte which was light in flavour.
Food and coffee not necessarily outstanding, but is usually quite consistent and is probably one of the most reliable in the area for cafe food.
Food are always great here. And great environment too. I love to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine in the colder mornings. And the inside seatings are nicely air conditioned in the summer. Thumbs up!
A nicely decorated interior. They open the doors whichever personally for me was a bit chilly but others won't mind.
Just had a tea here which was really nicely set out.
I appreciated being checked on by staff. Plenty of high chairs and right across from the parents room. Tables with moms and bubs. Have kids options.
The food was average and a bit pricey considering its taste as well as the content. However, I like the deco and the atmosphere. The service is friendly and quick too. Not a bad dinning experience overall.
I went there when it was closer to lunchtime and it was busy. They have all day breakfast so I had eggs benedict with bacon and mushrooms. It was delicious. The bacon was cooked just how I like it and was crispy around the edges. The staff were friendly and my coffee arrived almost as soon as I sat down. I didn't have to wait long for food which was great because I was hungry. I'll definitely be going back.
I met up with some old work mates for brunch at Deganis. Now this is way out of my stomping ground, but always keen to try new place. Located in Calamvale Central Shopping Centre next door to the Calamvale Hotel.
It was certainly busy on Monday 10am and a bit noisy from it being school holidays.
I love it serves all day breakfast for us late risers.
I opted for the breakfast bruschetta. My colleagues had the breakfast stack and the pancakes. Presentation was good and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Coffee was hot and smooth. Even for being busy, service was prompted and staff friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, would definitely come back.
Good cafe for breakfast, reasonable portion sizes, good quality food and the staff were friendly. The Cafe is fitted out nicely giving a relaxed atmosphere. Can be a little bit expensive but overall a nice cafe to relax and grab a bite.
Had 3 times with friend here, chips were crispy , had good time here and enjoyed the food, stake toasty was fantastic, would like spend more time here
I really really love this place! Its convenient and local with a great variety on offer! The staff are super friendly and go out of their way for you :)

We went to Degani for breakfast on Thursday since I've been wanting to try them for awhile. They have plenty of seating but most of it are long or large tables for four or more people. They also seem to have seating outside. It was averagely busy around ten when we came but seemed to pick up a lot half an hour after that. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere with a modern design.
I ordered the breakfast bruschetta and a pot of tea and my partner ordered a big breakfast and a bottled drink. My tea came out almost instantly and we weren't waiting more than fifteen minutes for our meals. The cutlery is on the table which isn't my favourite because of cleanliness but that's just a small issue. All the food in the cabinets looked nice but seemed too expensive for what it was. It's definitely easy to make a large bill though since our two meals and two drinks was $50.
We enjoyed our meals and left very full so I will come back here if I am in that shopping centre to try their lunch deals.

We went back this morning because I had a craving for their pancakes. We ordered the banana and butterscotch pancakes, a big breakfast and chips to share because I wasn't sure how filling my pancakes would be.
It was a lot busier today as we came later so our wait was longer but that was fine because they were clearly so busy and the service was still very friendly and happy. My pancakes were amazingly fluffy but way too sweet for me to finish. The sauce was delicious though. The chips were a tasty snack on the side as well and my partner was pleased with his big breakfast.
Looking for a nice cafe for breakfast in Browns Plains/ Calamvale area and came across this cafe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The coffee was strong but good and the food selection, presentation and taste were all excellent. Definitely the place to go in this area. I really liked the look of this cafe also.
Heard that this place just opened this year and so we had to go check it out ~ the menu offered a variety of dishes which was a good start!! We enjoyed both our dishes and we were both satisfied with our coffees :) However, service was quite a let down as we had to grab our own menus and the wait for a waitress to come to take our order was long.
Visited Degani today and just had a mocha frappe and cake. The frappe is what a frappe is ment to be creamy and full of flavour. The rest of the family had meals ranging from the stack to the degani burger. Well priced good quick service and we will return
I have visited degani for breakfast three times now and lunch twice. Breakfast is a lot nicer than lunch as I believe lunch is over priced for what you get. I tried the butterscotch banana pancakes and they were delicious!!! The coffee is great. However, I ordered an expresso and the young girl gave me a 150ml shot. Staff need to be more attentive with cleaning dirty plates when meals are done. I also asked for aioli sauce when we had a group of 15 people who spent over $500 and the staff member still asked for $1. I don't think this was necessary. I would return back here only for breakfast though
5 Stars!. Recently dined at DeGani in Calamvale and absolutely loved it. Warm and friendly staff who were very attentive. Great menu with something for everyone. Food was delicious and prompt. Highly Recommend.
Breakfast at 10:30am on Friday. Cool casual morning. Sat at a nice booth area. Would recommend reserving the area. Had the Fried Chicken and Waffles ($18.90) with Iced Coffee ($6.50). Had an extra small Cappuccino ($4.00). They do the iced coffee a little differently then anticipated by adding ice cream and whipped cream. I am glad that they asked about it first. The meal was lovely. Great rounded flavours of salty, sweet, sour and spicy. My only issue is the pricing on the meal. It was smaller than expected with its price point. Otherwise do come here and support this business. You will not be dissatisfied.

All round a great breakfast and experience. Food came out nice and quick, was a good serving size, delicious and good value. Coffee came out first and was decent, nice and strong. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back again to try another one of the many meals they have on the menu

Food is on the more expensive end for what it is. Pretty comparable to other cafe franchises in Australia.
Coffee is pretty decent, on the stronger end. House made Iced Tea may be one of the best I’ve ever had.
Nice and filling food. The wrap had a very nice sauce spread. Customer service could be improved as we were ignored when we entered and ignored when we left
Because this place is in a busy little hub! Chose your visit time wisely as seats are limited.
Friendly service, beautifully presented, food, coffee ☕️ and tea all tasted great. The only down fall was the temperature of the food. The two Eggs Benedict were cold.
Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Positive: veggie breakfast taste really good, the scrambled egg was cooked well, the sourdough bread was high quality. The coffee was good.
Negative: I would prefer the cutlery is not in a box for customer to grab for themselves for hygiene reasons. Some cutlery in the box was not that clean and had food stains on it.
Would I go back: yes, this is a great cafe that serves good quality food.
