Authentic dishes and curries. Generous portions of dishes. One can not finish a dish, best to be shared. Kid friendly. Ample parking. Nice spacious interior with a mix of traditional and modern. We were a group of about 14 and the staff were very friendly.
Good size and good price. Ordered the pad Thai and the laksa -- the laksa needs more noodles!!!'nnn like wayyyy more noodles. Although the broth was really nice. Good service and good clean environment. No regrets. It's BYO so that makes it better
This place has a dish for everyone. Fresh and full or flavour. The Golden bags were great and the basil duck was awesome. Deep fried ice cream was unavailable :(
This restaurant has been on the radar for a while due to its high Zomato rating.
It was roaring with activity when we entered as you might expect on a Saturday night, and the staff looked run off their feet.
It took us a short wait to get a table. Our order was taken quickly and incredibly the food arrived hot and freshly made on our table within 10 minutes. They must be a well run, well organised kitchen.
The restaurant is described as a Thai style Asian restaurant, which is not a bad description as it has a pan-Asian menu with a little more on emphasis on Thai dishes. I would not expect authenticity for the Thai dishes here, that is not what this restaurant is about.
We ordered a tom yum goong (prawns tom yum soup), coconut rice and chilli tamarind prawns.
I noted on the menu that the tom yum comes with noodles which is a little unusual. The tom yum soup was flavoursome and the thin noodles did not detract from the dish, and pretty much made it a main course rather than a soup. Thankfully it was not sweet! (That is a real problem with Thai dishes in Brisbane.) I rate this dish a 4.
The coconut rice was obviously freshly prepared. It was piping hot and moist.
The prawns with chilli and tamarind unfortunately was sweet, which detracted from what would have otherwise been a pretty decent dish. It had a well caramelised sauce and the prawns were cooked well. Overall it rated 3.5.
When I later asked why they make sweet a dish that should be spicy, sour and tangy, I got the old refrain that it caters to 'Australian' palates. They did however confirm that I could request for the dish to be made without the sweetness.
The rating of 4 is mainly for the fact that they provided a well cooked set of dishes quickly and with attentive service despite being so busy.
Spacious, warm, toasty location. The menu was full of a variety of delicious dishes. Staff were very friendly and provided good service. I definitely will return.
This is my go-to for a quick, yummy dinner out, at a very reasonable price! Great selection of meals, including vegetarian, they are more than happy to cater to other special dietary requirements including gluten free, vegan etc. Always very friendly staff and quick service. Love it!
I get take away from here regularly and it is always delicious. The service when dining in leaves something be desired. You have to tackle wait staff to place your order.
Grabbed take away got home and the food was delicious had chicken and cashew, sweet and sour and fried rice highly recommend this place. Take away is set up well too
One of our favourite take aways. Quick, well-priced, plentiful and very tasty
Highly recommended all round Asian Restaurant. We absolutely LOVE this place, hands down it is the best for Menu Choice, Quality of Food and Value for Money.
It is always on our short list and many of our friends are now also regulars, well worth a try even better for groups of 6 or more who like to share their meals. Meals come out quickly and Staff from the owner down always make you feel welcome.
Very nice curry dishes. Went there with bunch of friends for a birthday. Very lovely food and the service was great too. Will definitely go back again.
Great!. We have been twice and have had great service and amazing food on both occasions. we went for a birthday dinner and all 6 of us were impressed. The menu is fantastic too!!
So delicious!. Went here on a weeknight for dinner with family. We had entrees & shared 4 mains. The entrees were especially yummy (dim sims, honey chicken). Service was ok & food reasonably priced. Nice new fit out & plenty of seating. Would go back.
Great Value. Simple asian food, which has something for everyone. The services is abit hit and miss though.
Perfect for an easy mid week dinner and fantastic value for money.
Good old sings. We love this place. consistent, good food. reasonably priced. well done sings!
Quick and yummy meals.. I have been here quite a few times over the span of a few years, since back when it was two doors up the road. Meals are very nice and always very quick. Service is usually fairly good, though always very impersonal.
I once came in as part of a group of 14, and the service was very amateur. The waitress who took our orders had no knowledge of the menu and did not keep track of who ordered what. When the meals came out, we had to try and figure out which meal was which on our own. In their defence, they were very busy that night and the girl was probably very new to both this restaurant and front-of-house hospitality in general.
All in all, this is a quick, efficient restaurant with a large diverse menu of yummy food, but I don't think it has as friendly and welcoming of an atmosphere as most other small independant restaurants in the suburbs. Just my opinion though.
An Asian restaurant for the Westerner. As many before me have suggested, this is not the "most Asian" Asian restaurant in Brisbane, but it's still tasty. We have been here a few times and ordered a variety of dishes, we mostly stick to takeaway though as it is usually quite busy. Massaman is my personal favourite.
$15 for a main is a very good price as well for what you get.
There's a parking lot behind the main frontage, but it is shared with the other companies and can get full quite quickly.
We went for a going away dinner. The place was really nice we got seated at the back where the booths were. The food came out pretty quick and it was tasty and lovely. My favourite was the spicy yellow crab. My partner and I will sure be back again
Great restaurant. Delicious food, great prices and great menu variety. Love the Chilli lemongrass tofu.
BEST ASIAN ON SOUTHSIDE. Extensive menu (chinese, vietnamese, thai), something for everyone. BYO and take-away. Never ever had a bad dish. Love this place, just as good as their Rosalie restaurant.
Excellent food. Went to Sing's last Saturday with a group of 7 people. All of the food we ordered was excellent. The highlight dish was the basil duck. Great value and BYO
Cheap, delicious, simple. Love it, eating in or taking away
Great Restaurant. I have been coming here for years, food is always fresh, tasty, service is fast, and freindly, some days too fast and very affordable. I cant say one bad thing, I love it here.
Love this place. Tasty, fresh and always enjoyable, great for eating in or for taking away. Can't go past the duck spring rolls but most of the entrees are delicious. The main meals are generous in size and aren't expensive either. Service is pretty much always flawless can be a little slow when busy but thats to be expected.
Fix the bathrooms. This is one of my favourite local restaurants but prepare to queue if you want to go to the toilet. Only one ladies cubicle shared amongst 4 restaurants on this strip of Thai, Pizza, Greek and Indian restaurants.
The ridiculous system of fetching a key to go the bathroom and then waiting in queue spoils an otherwise great dining experience.
Been coming here for years- So fresh and LOVE the staff. Okay... so maybe I am a bit biased. My family live a few streets away from Sings and we were one of the first customers they had on the first night that they opened a few years ago. The owners are super cute and friendly, everytime my family walks past they say "Hello Clarke!" and get all excited. The asian woman who runs it is lovely.
The food is great, really fresh and tasty. Its the perfect place for takeaway on a Friday night when you dont want to cook but still want something healthy. Would recommend to anyone.
Don't bother making a booking because, even though you have a confirmatory text, they'll have no record of it when you arrive. If you order takeaway and they tell you 40 minutes, give them an hour and a half. If the food wasn't so good we would have stopped going here years ago.
A favourite local option for take away or dine in. Consistently tasty food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Their popularity every night of the week is testament to their great service.
Absolutely delicious & fresh. We will definitely be returning for more :-)
Very westernised. I'd say the food here is definitely tailored for the Western palate. Having said that, the food is still tasty and the service quick - but I would rather venture to Sunnybank to get a more authentic feed. I ordered the Green Curry, which was overwhelmingly sweet and not at all spicy (obviously tailored for the Western palate), unfortunately prolonging my search for the elusive, awesome green curry. I also tried the deep fried tofu, which was pleasant enough. I can't say I would go back though, but give it a try.
Great variety, fast service, decent prices. Went to the one at Rosalie not long ago and to the Coorparoo one tonight. This one feels much more like a restaurant and has a proper indoor space. The food is brought out in separate portions or you can choose to share by asking for a big bowl of rice (which keeps getting refilled). My mother cooks the best Asian food and has high standards for eating out -but Sing's has been given mum's tick of approval!
Aaaamazing! Fresh food, friendly and efficient service! We go to Sing's every couple of weeks! LOVE IT!
Sings Asian Kitchen - Coorparoo, Brisbane. One of the most lively and popular places to eat in Coorparoo, Sing's Asian Kitchen is one of two branches of the same restaurant. Advertising themselves as a comglomoration of different South-east Asian cuisines, it could sound like another indecisive and vapid pan-Asian place - but it holds up very well even above more specialised Asian places (e.g. some places that are Thai etc by and by). One night the household decided to get some takeaway from here and we are more than glad we did.
Often I would be able to critique the interior, the service and give a vague to specific description of the eatery. However, being fairly incapacitated (a long, irrelevant story) I stayed back and thus was unable to observe.
Heresay did infer it being popular and crowded - which is often a good sign.
With or without seeing the interior, the most important (and deciding) aspect is always the food - every order was good in its own way. Opting out of getting a pack, several different dishes were ordered instead. In the order was a beef musamum curry, a char kway teaw, a green curry chicken, a schezuean calamari, spicy lamb and peppercorn duck. All of them came with a dish of Jasmine steamed rice.
Starting off, the weakest was probably the green curry chicken. Being a bit thin on the sauce, it still was not too watery and kept the delicate flavours of green curry intact. The chicken was well cooked and tender with the vegetables fresh, crunchy and distinguishable.
More modest than the other dishes was the spicy lamb, with a combination of spicy flavouring and a hint of basil made for a dynamic dish that could be recommended as a beginner's guide to oriental cooking.
Rich in flavour and noodly in texture, the char kway teaw was quite good. Less fresh than the others, it combines a number of basics into something exquisite and is one of the best dishes from around the world. This was one dish that did not disappoint.
One of the more interesting orders was the szechuan calamari. The dish was very lively flavoured in a spicy-garlic sauce which infused with the vegetables brilliantly; there could have been more squid in the meal but aside from that was a fantastic order.
The peppercorn duck was a flavourful and understated affair combining a number of distinct ingredients into a more simple yet vivid dish utilising the deep flavour and texture of duck meat. Duck rarely ever (if never) disappoints and this one continues that trend.
Now the highlight of the night was the famous beef masamum curry. I heard about one person saying that this was the best masamum that they tried outside of Thailand; I cannot agree on the basis of never having been there. The sauce was rich in texture, deep in flavour from infusion of a tender cut of beef. The potatoes were well cooked and everything fell apart with ease.
The jasmine rice was cooked well, but there is not much else you can say about it - it is more of a side to mop up sauce than anything else.
Each dish was very distinct from the other and maintained its own merits well, some more than others. They all tasted very authentic and fresh and were at surprisingly affordable prices. This is one place that I shall definitely consider going back to (or eating from again); next time I might be able to talk about the interior and service aspects of the meal.
Good stuff. Im not a big fan of Asian cuisine but these guys do it better than most. They have a different offering to most Thai/Malaysian takeaways. Good fresh takeout.
Excellent food and great value. I've been twice now and not only is the food fantastic, it is great value for money. You can get away with entree and mains for two and have change from a $50. Being a BYO is a great advantage too. Try the mussaman beef curry - it's the best i've had outside of thailand.
I live nearby & tried other Asian restaurants in the area but this is by far the best. Service can be hit & miss but never really worries as food so good. Thai beef salad, honey lemon chicken & beef mussaman are highly recommended.
The Best. I have been eating here for years. Best, freshest variety of Asian food in town. Extremely good value too.

Mmmm. Just moved to Brisbane, and dont have much to say on this except it will be our takeaway of choice.
Fantastic. My meal was full of flavour and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. The restaurant was full with customets yet we received our meals very quickly. This place is a real Gem.
Can always count on sings for a good asian meal at a reasonable price. fri and sat nights especially busy and you may have to wait for a table to dine in
Favourite local takeaway. I live a few minutes from Sings and generally buy takeaway from here once every 1-2weeks. Pong Ca Ri is delicious here!
I also have dined inside the restaurant once and my parents had a little trouble hearing us over the (very) loud masses which make the trip to Sings on Friday/Saturday nights. If dining in on the weekend, I'd definitely recommend going before 6.30.
Love sings. The food is great, usually get take out because it's always so damn busy to eat in, you can't hear anything but other tables having a good time!
I love going to sings for dinner, the service is always very friendly and the meals are delicious! I go there at least two to three times a week and they never fail to impress me!! Definately recommend this place!
Really fresh, tasty food, never had a bad meal yet! Only downside Is that because they get so busy they often get orders mixed up or forget- one time I waited over an hour after my meal was supposed to be ready! Very delicious though! Worth the wait!
Best Asian Food. I have been here many, many times, both dining in and takeaway and I can say it is by far my favourite local asian restaurant. The food is always delicious and full of flavour, staff always friendly. The only downside to this place is it gets busy at times because it is so popular! Tasty & fresh food, great service, reasonably priced, its an overall winner for me.
LOVED IT - ALWAYS DO. We love Sings. Infact we rarely go anywhere else. Every overseas visitor we take there remembers it and asks to go back when they next visit. The kids love it and we always know the food and service will be consistently the same.
A Family Favourite. Sings never disappoints! Generous portion sizes with fresh ingredients. Food is always served promptly despite the packed dinning room.
My favourite Asian restaurant (we usually take away) but I have never had a bad meal here and I have tried plenty!!
Menu favourites: lemon chicken, tamarind prawns, the lamb special. Yum!
No chilli here. Cheap and cheerful. Slow service....you need to call waiters over. Very suburban with children and takeaways. Unlicensed with1 km walk return to bottle shop. Good for uncomplicated tasty Western-styled asian food.
Thumbs up.. After going to Sing's Rosalie all the time, we were very happy to find out when we moved to Coorparoo there was another Sing's up the road for the usual Sunday takeaway :)
Something different from the norm. Some great tastes different from the traditional Thai. Very good!
I love curry puffs. I've always been a fan of curry but with the addition of crunchy pastry. ohhh yeah BOMB. And these were homemade. Double BOMB.
Sing's Asian Kitchen Sing's Asian Kitchen is our favourite "Cheap Eats" in Brisbane. It is a Thai inspired Asian restaurant at Rosalie and Coorparoo. Although Sing's offers Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes, we always come here just for the delicious au

I've resisted the temptation to tell you about Sing's for quite a while. It's my local fave and seriously busy. I didn't want to share the love and have to wait longer to get a table next time. Bad Kerry! However I can't resist any longer, so here it is.
Great noodle dishes, and Tom yum soup. We definitely prefer to eat in as the portions seem bigger and soups are always better eaten fresh.
We have been quite regular visitors to SINGS COORPAROO since it opened some 14 years ago. We have dropped in for dinner, had takeaway and gone there with friends. It is always a lovely experience in a casual environment with such a huge range of quality fresh and tasty food at reasonable prices for all dietary requirements. The most difficult part is selecting meals from such an extensive menu. The owner is caring and a delight. The staff members are pleasant and accommodating. One of the staff members, the lovely Sarah, even remembers not just our previous orders, but also our special requests. We love going to SINGS.
we regularly get takeaway here and the food is to die for. It's always delicious and the prawn chip are a must (note one bag is HUGE) and plenty for 4, get a second if you're really hungry. Good customer service.
I was here for dinner with a friend. As we went late the restaurant was empty. The food tasted fantastic! The hospitality was average. Overall still a good night.
Sings Asian kitchen is our go to place for great tasting Thai food. The menu is huge with a large range of entrees as well as main dishes. Generally we stick to the Thai curries as they are hard to beat and and the best tasting that we’ve tried in Brisbane. Can be quite busy on a weekend so best to book or go early. Four star rating as the service can be a bit hit and miss. Very friendly but awkward at times - worth it for great tasting dishes though.
