It has been nearly one year since my last review and the visit to Cafe Supreme the other day reminds me to check it out.
Dropped in this morning before 7:00am, it has just started trading but already has a few take-away orders for coffee.
I intended to dine-in so took my time to read the menu and eventually decided for a mini breakfast to do with a cup of flat white.
Coffee came first in a large cup with strong strength and nice presentation. Next came the brekkie that confused me on what it is named “mini breakfast”. In fact, it is spectacular in portion; particularly those quality bacon rashes. Scrambled egg is not the type that I liked but it is only personal preference.
Overall, CP is high and service remains friendly and passionated.

Really good coffee, and friendly staff keep me coming back. The ambience and décor are unique and pleasant. The food menu is reasonably priced with quick service.
Gabi beef was super tasty and tender with perfectly cooked rice. Excellent value. Great range of lunch options that thankfully differ from the usual Cafe fare.
Will definitely be coming back
Found this cute cafe tucked inside the Coles outlet at the Gabba the other day. Actually we had breakfast which was a delight. There was a special on the blackboard which included coffee so I went for that. It was called Halloween salad if I remember correctly? It had a great selection of healthy greens, avocado, haloumi cheese & seeds topped with two huge pieces of yummy pumpkin. The coffee was also made well & the service was a delight & our pooch was made especially welcome
This little cafe is tucked away in an unappealing corner. I've only ever ordered take away coffee and it's usually quite good- that is, it's not been burnt yet. The almond croissants are also usually tasty and still taste good by the end of the day.
Seriously, I dont understand how this place is not a 5. I was so happy to have breakfast here and the staff was very friendly and attentive too.
I had the gabi breakfast and my boyfriend had the eggs benedict with salmon and we thought it was really good value. In fact we thought that it shpild be worth so much more than what they are charging.
I had a latte - the best latte I have ever had: the milk was very smooth and soft unlike other cafes and I really liked how the coffee wasnt at all too bitter yet not too mild either. As a person who enjoys smooth coffee, it really was the best coffee I have had in a while. My boyfriend had the fresh juice and we could actually taste the fruit itself and believe me, they didnt add any sugar or something into the juice yet it is just so refreshing and nice.
I undoubtedly recommend this place to everyone
Amazing coffee and food - the staff is very friendly as well; always makes my day. I had the vegie burger and the fruit juice they make themselves and since then, i cant drink any other regular fruit juices from other places. Recommend/10 to everyone in Brisbane
Was looking for a early breakfast after decending down from our lodgings upstairs in the self-serviced apartments. It was the only breakfast place (besides the bakery on the other side of the square) open at the early hour, so we thought we'd give it a try.
We (my wife and I) both ordered a Gabi Breakfast (basically a 'big breakfast' kind of plate), and I had a berry smoothie while my wife had a green tea latte.
Atmosphere was fairly mainstream hipster kind of thing, with distressed wood furniture, sliced cross-sections stuck on the wall, fabric looking mache dragonflies, a piano on the corner, sacks against the wall, that kind of thing. Nothing out of place as such, simple enough decor.
The staff were nice enough, though there is no table ordering service. You took a menu, and ordered at the counter, but they would bring it out to you.
The plates came a few minutes after the drinks, reasonable speed. Good portion sizes for the price, though for some reason I had two pats of butter on my plate, where as my wife had only one pat. Not sure why there was that difference between the two. Well cooked enough though the hash-brown on both plates were pretty much destroyed in their form, instead of being a single golden brown hash, they had been broken up, and were steaming away with their white innards exposed. Obviously they had been cooked in the pan but something in the execution had failed along the way, preventing their movement from the pan onto the plate being seamless, ending up broken and ruining the near perfect look of the plating. Still tasted okay, a bit on the soft side, not a crisp hash brown, which goes in hand with the moist breaking up.
The only other thing was was that for some reason, the bacon served was quite salty compared with many other bacon offerings. It was cooked well and had crispy goodness but their choice of bacon suppliers may have had a saltier cure than other suppliers.
The drinks were fairly mainstream, no real issues with my berry smoothie, made with icecream, good amount of berries, served in a mason jar mug (jar with handle), and the green tea latte was smooth with a light fluffy milk, a reasonable strength of matcha flavour and you could feel the 'grit' of the matcha. They had recommended the addition of some sugar to offset the bitterness, but it had not been over-sweetened.
tl;dr - Good portion for price on Gabi Breakfast, well cooked. Drinks were reasonably made. Hipster decor.

Excellent restaurant! Great atmosphere and delicious food! if you are looking for something different for breakfast this is the place... and the $10 special lunch menu is amazing... Tons of food for only $10... I will come back!
Eggs benedict was nice, however the piece of bread was not really enough for the 2 eggs & amount of sauce you get. My Mum got the poached eggs on toast, again , 1 piece of bread isn't enough. The coffee we had on the day wasn't very nice at all but the take away coffee we had the day before was great? Perhaps a different person made it. Staff were friendly enough, the place wasn't overly busy but it was when it had been raining for days on end. I would eat there again & give the coffee another chance.
This cafe is really good. The menu has a great selection and is also affordable. The food is fresh and the chef and front of house are consistent with quality of food and service.
Food is delicious & the service is so great! Quick & friendly even when it's super busy. Was packed when we went & they all still had smiles and spoke to each customer for a personal touch. Coffee and juice were delicious too.
Great food and service.
Big breakfast + peppermint tea (pot)
Breakfast was really nice. The BUCKET size coffee is like a dream come true size. I’ve walked passed many time. This was my first time here. I shall be back. Good prices.
One of the nicest breakfasts ive had! Prompt, friendly service and a magical karma coffee arrangement for those who need it. Would recommend!
Was looking for a cafe in the late afternoon, and found Gabi Cafe hidden in Woolloongabba. Really unique and cool interior- it gave off a cosy and warm vibe.
The coffee blend was fairly smooth and definitely satisfied our coffee craving, however would say was just average. I believe the vibe of the cafe was what made it so memorable, and would be the reason we come back and try more of what it has to offer. I also loved the idea of the ‘Karma Coffee’ where customers have the option to donate to someone’s free coffee!
아마 한국인이 운영하는 카페 같아요ㅋㅋ 커피도 괜찮고 분위기도 좋은데 좀 더워요 브런치 먹으러 재방문 할거에요~
The best coffee, best breaky and best service in Brisbane!!!!!
