We dined early on a Saturday and noticed a steady flow of eat-in customers and take away orders. This is clearly a local hot spot!
We started with pork spring rolls and roti. The roti was delicious - really buttery and tasty. The spring rolls were nice, but lacked a little flavour to make them really amazing.
My husband chose drunken noodles with beef and it was a very generous portion. The noodles were really tasty and the whole dish was packed full of flavour. He was really pleased with his choice as this is the first time he's ever tried this dish. I chose penang curry with pork and a side of jasmine rice. The curry was spicier than I expected - not a bad thing as I enjoy spice but it was marked as mild and I think it was definitely hotter than that. I personally think it needed to have that spice because it's quite a creamy curry. The pork was delicious and really tender, vegetables were nicely cooked - still with a bit of crunch and not over cooked - and combined with the well cooked rice, made for a really delicious curry. The servings are very large - I had trouble finishing mine (my husband was happy to help!)
Everything was served very quickly and staff were very efficient. Often Thai restaurants are just ok, nothing outstanding, but Thai @ Grovely really stood out for us. I can see why it's popular and we really enjoyed our meals. Extra bonus being on the Entertainment Card, I'm certainly glad this place is close to home - it's a great spot!
Absolutely amazing food. My daughter and I eat there once or twice a term and everytime we are met with amazing quality food and quick and homely service. Best Thai food I’ve ever had.
I think I had the best Massaman beef curry in years! The Dim Sims were also very good, which was very surprising for a Thai restaurant. The soft shell crab was very salty though... Not sure what happened with that.
This is by far the best Thai restaurant food that we have had. We always get takeaway when ordering here. Don't live in the area, but we have been buying the food here at least four times a year for the last six years. The flavour and freshness of the food is awesome! I usually have chicken cashews, green curry@ and spring rolls. My wife orders different dishes and is also never disappointed.
Amazing food!!! So fresh and full of flavour. It was nice to see where your food is getting made and how clean it was. Best Thai food we've had in so long!
We will be coming back and recommending this restaurant to everyone on the north side of Brisbane.
We tried Thai at Grovely for the first time last week and will definitely be going back. Having recently moved to mitchelton and tried numerous Thai restaurants this is definitely the best. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty.
Fantastic restaurant. The food is always fresh and full of flavour. They have generous servings and the staff are lovely. I always enjoy dining in as well
Soooo good! The food is amazing, price is reasonable and the service is good. I have been searching for decent thai take out since moving to this side of town, after finding this place the hunt is over!
The one Thai restaurant we can always count on to have a perfect meal. Delicious, authentic Thai dishes. My fiance who didn't like Thai food as had only ever had lackluster experiences was finally converted once he tried the food here. We live on the other side of town unfortunately but always look forward to having it on special occassions with family in Arana Hills. Our favourite dishes are Cashew chicken, beef massaman and yellow chicken curry - but I'm sure everything on the menu would be just as good.
Our local Thai, my wife and I eat there often and have not been disappointed yet. Even when busy meals come quickly, staff are pleasant and the restaurant itself is well appointed.
Had panang chicken curry takeaway tonight and it was 10 out of 10 awesome. Perfect strength with subtle basil and kaffir lime undertones. Plenty of tender chicken and a good sized serving. Best Thai takeaway in the Arana Keperra Ferny grove area bar none. Great work guys
Fresh ingredients, tasty food...recommend!!. We've had takeaway a couple of times and both times it's been excellent. Fresh vegetables which is a big plus. We tried another Thai place in the area and they used frozen soggy veges. The staff were friendly and the food was ready on time. The menu is quite extensive and we look forward to trying it out. They have steamed brown rice which was a great healthy alternative to white rice.
We generally get the pad se-ew with beef or seafood and it's a great dish. Nice flavours and best of all, very generous portions. Highly recommended.
Great Thai Food. We have take away often and also dine in at this restaurant. It's been a favourite of ours for some time. Food is delicious and plentiful. Fast service also.

We just went there tonight for dinner I had spring rolls as entree and tomyum for main -the food was executed perfectly.My friend had pad thai and panang curry that looked very generous in size and it just perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere the shop is both clean and tidy .We will certainly be returning soon . Recommend it.
Good reliable local. We had the banquet. Great entrees and they let us swap one of the mains. Won't order the pad Thai again. But quality for $90 for 4 adults and BYO.
Great food. Very fresh and authentic with a few modern twists. The only con was I found the portions a little small. Apart from that 9 out of ten.
Beautiful fresh food EVERYTIME! Their Chicken Pad Thai is to die for!! Lovely friendly efficient staff. So lucky to have this restaurant in the burbs.
My wife and I absolutely love Thai grovely! We take away at least once a fortnight and die for the red and green curry. We don't like to dine in purely because of the amount of traffic caused by other devoted customers. Try it!
This place is the bomb! They make some great dishes! A great little gem in the burbs.
A superior thai experience, food was sensational! Service was highly efficient, fast delivery and excellent in every way! A rare find in this area, much better than some city favourites. 10 out of 10!!
The Penang curry is do die for. It is absolutely superb and would be the best I have ever had
OMG Yum!. I recently held a birthday dinner at Thai@Grovely with 10 guests. We all ordered different things and shared, so I got to taste some pretty incredible flavours. Highest recommendations go to the Green Curry which is several cuts above the rest and seriously, make sure you try some of their chicken satays. We loved it there - service was friendly, prompt and totally unassuming. LOVED IT
There was an incomplete order via Uber eats. Thai groverly tried 2 seperate times following this to deliver the order before it was successfully delivered on the third attempt. So patient and kind to keep trying to get our meal to us. On receive this would have been the fourth time time they cooked this dish for us. It was amazing as usual (you can’t go fault the larb), the customer service though chef kiss. If I could rate higher I would.
Tried this wonderful restaurant tonight for the first time. Service, quality and value for money.

So delicious! One of the best red curries I’ve ever had, and I get them quite often. Large portion and tons of veggies, tofu was firm and high quality. No complaints at all.
