It is nearly one and a half year since my first visit so re-explored again early this week. Being located at a prime location, its business is consistently good. Even I went there early in the morning around 7:00am but nearly half of the tables were occupied. Did not want to think too much on the order so just ordered a flat white and a croissant with ham & cheese. When the barista asked if I would like to have the croissant toasted, my quick answer of “yes” made me worry about the outcome. Fortunately, the croissant was carefully toasted to remain the shape and texture and the appropriate amount of ingredients won my appreciation. In addition, the Campos coffee was made up to perfection this time with right temperature, strength and smoothness. Marks added! Cheers!

Explored this café because I was attracted by the dish of Salmon Fish cake when I read its menu information. Arrived punctually on 6:30am this morning and the sign of Campos coffee made me excited. Ordered at the counter as followed their system then took a seat indoor. Service was very friendly. The first thing to the table was the flat white with a nice Campos cup. First sip made me disappointed that the strength was slightly down from my expectation. Another five minutes later, the savoury dish came, presentation looked gorgeous although I found the fish cakes look like big crumbed fish balls. I could not wait to taste the fish cakes, which was crumbed perfectly with crunchy batter, however, the proportion of potatoes and salmon inside was just far out that I hardly tasted any fish there. That made the fish ball bland and I had to put more pepper & salt to make it more tasteful. I advise the chef to think about re-constructing the composition of the ingredients for that fish cake dish. There are rooms to be improved.
My partner and I went to Krave for the first time yesterday, I had my usual Eggs Benedict with a latte. The quality of food on my plate was delightful, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. Whilst I was at Holden across the road my partner told me of an experience, where he asked a staff member if he could sit down instead of standing as he was on crutches. A staff member had reportedly told him "No", another staff member came to the rescue and was told he can definitely have a seat and that you don't make someone stand and wait whilst they are on crutches. This recognition of his medical issue in my absence was awesome!!! You get a 5 rating for helping him out, I appreciate it. That combined with food, coffee and entire atmosphere of this busy cafe means I highly recommend you dining and visiting here!!!
Great portions (Big Brekky was certainly big) and food was damn tasty. Thick shake was insanely thick, didn't even manage to finish it all! Only minor gripes were my lady's hazelnut hotchoccy seemed to lack hazelnut, and my drink came out after my food which was odd.
Aside from that, will be back for more!
Krave Cafe runs like clockwork, fueling locals with strong Campos coffee and delicious gourmet treats. The service here is great. You can have your takeaway coffee ordered before you reach the register to get the caffeine hit quicker. Regardless of how busy the cafe is, your food is served promptly. Every item on the breakfast menu is a winner. Praise needs to be given to the consistently perfect poached eggs and spot on thick toast.
Kafe Krave (or Cafe Krave, or Krave Cafe, depending on where you read it) is a suburban cafe located within the Homezone Centre in Windsor. Sitting at the corner of one of the blocks, it is understated in appearance from the outside. It does have quite clear signage though, with “Krave” on each of its road-facing sides.
Best service ever. Last weekend I was with friends, and we wanted to stay and watch some other friends hockey game rather than going to a cafe for breakfast. I called Krave Cafe to ask if they did take-away, and what followed was some of the best customer service I have ever received. The person who answered the phone wasn't at work, but called the cafe to find out wait times, then called me back to say I could text him the order and he'd call it in to the cafe. He also sent me a copy of the menu, and after I'd ordered, a picture of the bill. Amazing! The food was ready when we got there, and was absolutely delicious. I had the bacon and eggs with the sourdough and I think the others were jealous of the bread. The avocado in the others meals looked amazing and the coffee was pretty good. I will recommend this to all of my friends, I was very happy!
Ive hosted small meetings here on a couple of occasions and have been impressed both times with the service and quality of the food. The range of sandwiches and sweets is excellent and the atmosphere very nice.
On this occasion the coffee was a different blend and only just average whereas the first time it was very good. I'd be happy to recommend this venue again.
Great for breakfast. This is a go to local hub for me. The food is generally well cooked and seasoned. Scrambled eggs have turned out a little watery or 'soggy' few times, but other than that its been pretty good. Coffee has been perfect and never burnt. Staff are very lovely.
One of the best cafes in Brisbane! Consistently great service and amazing coffee. I come here all the time for my morning coffee even though there are a number of places closer to home. All the waitstaff are super friendly and you can tell it's genuine. The food is also great!

Met a girlfriend here for coffee and breakfast earlier this week for the first time. Queue to order was to the door but moved quickly enough. Atmosphere was buzzing. Food selection is broad and well-priced. Our coffees and breakfasts were great, and service was very friendly. Will definitely be visiting this local cafe regularly.
Nice business. Travel around a lot and found this little gem in Brisbane. Nice atmosphere and staff. Coffee and food served promptly with a smile. Haven't tried this coffee before but was full bodied and well made. Food was generous and well presented. Wouldn't mind trying some other items off the menu. Had salmon stack and eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff were interacting with customers and having fun and they did not seem arrogant like a lot of places you go. This gave the place a relaxed feel and was farewelled by three different staff, which made me feel as though I wasn't just another number. Definitely will be back when visiting city. No other place like it in Brisbane. I have plenty of cafes in my area yet every time i feel like getting breakfast, lunch or a coffee I go out of my way to visit Kafe Krave. Doesnt matter whether you are having a good or bad day, once you visit Kafe Krave your day will instantly get better. You are pleasantly greeted upon entry, treated to some of the best coffee (Campos) and food in Brisbane and enjoy all of this while relaxing in their newly renovated cafe. The staff are always happy to have a chat and make me feel very at home every time! I have heard whispers that they will be opening a bar within the cafe very soon so cant wait to find out more about that. Thanks Kafe Krave!!!

Awesome!!. I live over the other side of Brisbane and came in with a friend a few months ago as she lives nearby. I now come over most weeks to have my weekend breakfast and cannot get enough!! Coffee is nearly always perfect, the menu is diverse and from what I have had so far the meals are REALLY top notch!!! What wins my heart is the awesome supply of cakes and slices to accompany my coffee. Very impressed and I now bring everyone I have breakfasts with over there. AWESOME!!

Convenient and efficient. This cafe can be counted on to provide friendly and efficient service, even when it’s busy and the tables are nearly full and the order line is long. It serves Campos coffee. Its location at the Homezone Windsor means that parking is not a problem. There are even a few dedicated 10min parking spots right outside for those picking up takeaway. The other day I tried the salmon stack. Each of the two perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise sauce was perched on top of a salmon fritter ball which was on a bed of mashed avocado...yummy!
Clean, Friendly, and Tasty!. Love the staff....my favourite is the Iced Coffee and fresh salad with sun dried tomatoes (can't think of the name). I know iced coffees may be easy to make and taste the same, but I find these are creamy, smooth, with the right amount of ice cream (not too much or too little), and they come in a huge glass! The salads and sandwiches are fresh & always tasty! Located by Downey Park, so a nice treat after netball.
Best Cafe in and around Newmarket!!. Have been here a few times now for either coffee, cake or lunch. Cannot fault the staff and even more so cannot fault the food.
The Campos Coffee has always been made perfectly and in a timely matter.
There can sometimes be a line but the staff and barista's are trained well so you are never really waiting.
Will not go anywhere else on the inner north side of Brisbane! Very satisfied customer.
Nice cafe!. A nice place for morning or afternoon tea. My choc milkshake was yummy and the lemon blondie. It would be great if they had scones! Everyone loves a good scone with jam and cream.
My Favourite!. Everything you want from a cafe experience! Been coming here for a while now and never once been disappointed. Coffee and meals are to die for, and staff are all exceptionally friendly and make it a really pleasant atmosphere.
Easily become my favourite place to go, whether getting quick take away coffees or sitting in for breakfast- definitely recommend.

Awesome food, friendly staff and the best coffee in Brisbane.. This place is my second home. Corey and Jen have built a great atmosphere at Krave and I start my day here every morning with a coffee. I'm quite often late for work because I don't want to leave.
It's a great place to meet friends and with the recent extensions I've never had a problem getting a seat for breakfast, even on weekends when they are always busy. The Eggs Benedict is the best I've had anywhere.
I live 2 minutes walk from Elixer at Stafford yet I still prefer to drive to Krave every day for my coffee. In fact, I drive past at least 10 cafés to get there so I think that is proof enough of what Krave has to offer.

Krazy about Krave!. Absolutely love this cafe! As a regular and a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, it takes a damn good barista to keep me coming back - these guys make a fantastic coffee and the quality never falters. The staff are always warm, welcoming and friendly and the service never waivers even when they're at their peak times. Food is delicious - breakfast are hearty and well presented. Do yourself a favour and give the cafe a try!
A cafe doing everything right. Cafe crave is always busy and with good reason. The service is great and my experience is consistently good. The food always comes out quite quickly considering how busy they are as does the coffee.
The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable and make great campos coffee. I don't understand the bad reviews because I've never had a bad experience.
Would recommend the zucchini and haloumi fritters for breakfast or the lamb wrap for lunch

Ka-Pow!. I've been a regular at Kafe Krave for nearly 2 years and have never had a bad experience. This cafe is always lively and packed because it is simply fantastic! All the food is delicious, my favourite snack being the chicken and pumpkin panini... They always nail the ratio of pumpkin to chicken and the mayo is to die for! Definitely something everyone should try!
The smoothies and milkshakes are all mouth-wateringly fabulous! All the staff are great, they remember your name and coffee order and their not bad on the eye either.

Odd customer.... I moved to Newmarket 6 months ago and regularly frequent this place with friends at all times during the week. The staff are always very friendly, the food is awesome and the coffee is the best I have drank in Brisbane.
The fact this 'odd' customer has had a bad experience wouldn't surprise me because surely not every cup of coffee can be perfect?! However, the fact she has gone on to attribute this to an individuals personality is just silly.
I ignore silly people and like drinking awesome coffee, so see you all in Kafe Krave this weekend (odd customers need not attend).
It is sad to read such a personal attack on a social forum site when it should be about the products and service. Did you talk to barista about your coffee? He would have been more than happy to help.
I have been going to Kafe Krave since they opened and have taken many friends and family there including international ones. They all comment on the high standards of coffee, food and the environment.
Additionally the staff, and especially the owners, are great people who make you feel more like friends than merely customers.
I could not express more the need for people to come and try this place - sit for a morning and I am certain you'll become a regular like so many of us.

All 3 baristas make terrific coffees and are very accommodating.
People make mistakes and you may have had one of the few coffees that may not have been up to standard.
Couldn't you have handled the situation differently and just told them in person. I know them all and they would have happily made you another one.
I don't use these sites to judge people or places that I do or do not like.
This is a great spot and has one of the best brews in Brisbane.
I know the owners well and they are very friendly and hard working and it upsets me to see comments this petty.

I'm a regular customer at Kafe Krave and almost all of my experiences have been excellent. Great, friendly wait staff and they are always on the ball considering its usually a bustling place! The food is delish and I love the cake cabinet!
Great family business. The coffee is always great, the food is fabulous and best of all,Cory and Jen and their excellent staff always make me feel so welcome. it is very nice to be greeted by name and welcomed into the cafe for a coffee and a quick chat. It makes my day :)
All I can say is, what happened? Menu changed for the worse, meals are smaller but still cost the same.
Menu has improved immensely, obviously with a new chef. Campos coffee is excellent, and is always served perfectly by the baristas. Would definitely recommend.

Nice atmosphere. Tried a few cafes in Windsor/ Wilston and the one with the funny spelling was the standout. Kafe Krave?? i like the name but why spell it with Ks. Great atmosphere here!1 The staff were very attentive and friendly, almost too relaxed but warm and helpful. The coffee the gentleman made me was devine and the gluten free cake left me wanting more. I sat and soaked up the scene of regular mums and gym goers enjoying the daily or weekly treats and left satisfied with at least 3 staff thanking me.NICE Experience!!!
Big fan. I have only had positive experiences at Kafe Krave... They have great Campos coffee and a large range of salads and toasted sandwiches available, along with a diverse breakfast and lunch menu. They also have a great range of baked goods, many gluten free much to my delight. The owner is very outgoing and friendly - because of this, there are many regulars that eat at the cafe, myself included. it does tend to be very busy on saturdays, sometimes lengthening the wait for a meal. good atmosphere, great service, great coffee.

Great food, great fun.. I've been a regular diner at Kafe Krave since it opened a few months ago. The coffee is exceptional but as is so important to me, it was the service and friendliness of the owner and his staff that kept me coming back. Kafe Krave has really kicked off since it opened, being full of busy gym-goers and mothers' with girlfriends, I'd never seen Milk or any prior shop in its' place so busy. On offer is a great selection of take-away sandwiches, rolls, pastas and salads which rotate each day. Furthermore a delectable selection of sweets, muffins and savoury options never fail to catch my eye as I stare in awe, wondering how I might justify indulging in a delicious brownie or muffin. The eat-in menu consists of a wide-range of exciting food options that will leave you trying to decide which to try. The meals come gorgeously assembled and the taste truly compliments the aesthetic look of each dish.
Kafe Krave is a small cafe, but don't mistake the potential. You can't go wrong whether you're looking to sit for a meal, get a snack to takeaway or just order a coffee to help you wake up. The food is exceptional, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Try it out - I do all too often.
Happy as Larry. Went in on Saturday after buying kids clothes at Mamas Home. Very busy little spot. I was hesitant to buy breakfast as due to the number of people dining. Tried my luck as menu looked great !! Also the fact that they had Campos Coffee pulled me in. ordered eggs Benedict with Salmon (something simple) and was impressed with speed of meal and service with a smile. The meal was put together very well and all of the flavours oozed class for something so easy. Finished with coffee and again have never been let down by a Campos coffee.

Great food and beverages, the owner and staff are friendly and attentive. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of foods. This is without a doubt one of my favorite cafes.
Kafe Krave was located right at the entrance and it was full of people! It is a counter-serviced cafe and it didn’t take me long to decide what to have for my brekky. I noticed that most diners were “mummy and daughters”, at least there were 7 toddler girls! And a lot of them were having the delicioux cakes! I picked the Scrambled Eggs on Focacia with spinach for my brekky and a nice cup of Campos coffee.
It was Easter Saturday, we were out and about, and hungry. This café was open till midday so in we trotted. I had a cappuccino, and he had a hot chocolate – both fine. In fact, my coffee was excellent – hot and strong. We chose a brekkie wrap for me, and a loooong sausage roll with a wee salad for him. My wrap had scrambled eggs and bacon and spinach, doused in a BBQ? or chilli sauce? Delicious and filling. I took half home, and had it later. The sausage roll was a hit – he said it was ‘real and meaty’. Staff were pleasant and efficient, and the café is much larger than we’d thought. It has a lovely open air feeling with plants on the outside, where dogs are welcome. A lovely, friendly, family place to sit and eat and chat.
Staff here are super friendly, have attention to detail and quick customer service even on weekends. The fresh juices are great. The menu is extensive with a large variety of breakfast options to choose from. Unfortunately they had just run out of their potato Rosti dish when we ordered. However, the eggs Benedict was great and they even swapped the bread for hash brown with no extra charge. They forgot the savoury mince on my partners big breakfast which is what he was most looking forward to.
Visited here back in June 2019 and honestly need to come back for another meal!
The food tasted amazing, the presentation was amazing and the service was great! Our dining experience overall was quite pleasant and the menu had many options to choose from at reasonable prices for a cafe on the northside of the city.
I had the Eggs Benedict on Salmon Rissoles. The eggs were perfect and runny when cut into. The whole meal was delicious.
10/10 recommend this place for a nice breakfast or lunch!
Nice food, nice menu. Easy to eat inside or outside. I had the salt n pepper calamari salad. It was tasty, & they did leave the onion out as requested. The salad want as full as the description stated though. Still tasty.
Delicious garlic mushies, poached eggs on ciabatta. Thhe toasted croissants were warm, crispy. Love it !
