Loved it! Truffle tuna tower was my favourite plate. It's a must! The plum wine is also very delicious and not watered down by the ice like most places. Service was very attentive and delightful when serving us. It's also very clean and fresh feel to it. We will definitely be coming back

So yes this is a sushi train, and yes most plates are $4.50 each with premium plates being $8. Hubby was not a fan of the narrow, wooden seating, though I don't have any problems with it. There are a few booths but once again the seating is all hard, wooden furniture. The staff are not effusive or terribly pro-active, (and our waitress had trouble understanding our English) but get the job done eventually.

We had - prawns with a crunchy coating and a tangy sriracha mayo sauce. Looks like panko breadcrumbs which are always extra crunchy. I enjoyed these fishy morsels.

We had - For some reason, this is called a Tiger roll. Well I guess everything tastes like chicken, doesn't it?:=) Even tigers. Not bad. Pretty much your everyday maki roll.

Crunchy on the outside, vegetable-y on the inside. Mr P. loves spring rolls, so he had to have these. He said to tell you they were good. Oh, and he said he thought kids especially would love them on the sticks. He could have lived without them, though :=) Not really a stick kind of guy.

Okay, so this is another sushi train, but it has some interesting and different choices. (Mr P. has me tell you that he thinks the quality is above average, and everything is fresh and innovative.) I like that the regular plates are all the same price, which seems to be the current fashion ATM. I love the decor - those tiles! - and the bright, light atmosphere. They have a takeaway bar at the front also; handy for nearby workers. You can have a quick bite or linger in a booth, as half a dozen young things were doing the other day. Melty cheese anyone?

We were seated at a booth table next to the floor-to-ceiling window which also provided us with a pretty good view of the sushi train. Although, Sushi & Nori isn’t your average sushi train. For a start, natural light floods the eatery of which the fresh, contemporary decor is absolutely beautiful - shiny blue and white fishtail tiles make up the feature wall where chefs stand in front and skillfully slice up fish for sashimi, brass and natural wood finishes make the space feel sleek yet inviting. The lunch menu is somewhat simple yet it still provides a good variety with very reasonable prices.

I'm shocked the rating for this place isn't higher. Have walked past multiple times and been tempted to try it, but today for the first day I actually did and won't regret it. Only had the sushi rolls to go, but they were the best I've had in Brisbane. Great quality fillings that were really flavourful and a perfect ratio of rice to filling too (unlike many places which go ott with the cheap rice).

Basically, this is now my go-to place for sushi in Brisbane now, and I wanted to share the love.

Now this is a Gourmet train! The fit out is super trendy and it feels so upscale for a sushi train. The dishes are a bit more expensive than a normal train but it's worth it as the servings are so generous and the quality is top notch.

The sushi here was amazing, it was so fresh and generous servings. I can't wait to go back and try it again, even the take away sushi looked great!

Great little spot in the new King St precinct of Bowen Hills. Plenty of variety here - excellent nigiri & sushi rolls. Loved their chicken too - tried the Karaage, Chilli, & Teriyaki, & all three got a big thumbs up! Looking forward to getting back again... :-)

Great little sushi spot. Fresh sashimi with plenty of variety. The seared scollops were perfect. You can never have too many sushi trains!
