Ben's Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant - Brisbane - Photo album

I went to this restaurant for lunch today and was very disappointed. I have dined there at night some years ago and enjoyed the experience. Today's experience was off-putting. The service was virtually non existent. The restaurant was not busy. Nonetheless, my companion had to wave his arms in the a
Was served by a handsome young man who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the menu, I overheard some of the other staff calling him 9O, it must be some sort of authentic Vietnamese name. The way he glided through the maze of tables to help other patrons at maximum efficiency showed his great
Terrible experience we had today! Very noisy, we couldn’t chat with each other at all ! The soup tasteless, the beef quality is not good, no staff clean the plates, very dirty floor. The price of meal is very high as for the quality and taste. We left many food as not good. It’s not worth to try in
This was the most disappointing dinner we have ever ordered. The honey king prawns were so over-cooked and dry, they were inedible. The fried rice had dry, chewy pieces in it and the sweet and sour pork was stodgy and gluggy. Such a shame as the food used to be quite good.
I have never had a bad food experience at Ben's. The lunch specials are incredibly good value and the staff allow for menu alterations if you have food allergies. It's worth noting that they have a 'one bill per table' policy.
We went there for dinner on weekend. I was very disappointed this time. First of all, we had to yell each other because it was super noisy there ,there were some parties. Secondly we ordered Vietnamese dinner sets but the waiter brought us Chinese sets . The food was so so, too oily , nothing wow. I
Nice tasty combination pork, chicken and seafood rice noodle soup. 🙂👍
Food always delicious, staff friendly, quick service. We like the Banquets, as you get to try a few different flavours. There is usually more food than you can quite finish. They are licensed, and have quite a good range of wines and beers, including some Asian brands.
