Such a fun vibe and the food came quickly and was of great quality! So reasonably priced we will be back time and time again. Note* that you must book on weekends! There was a big line up for those who didn’t!
I’ve had the lunch buffet twice. It’s now $17.90. It pretty much includes everything from the dinner buffet but without the bbq meat. It’s definitely great value for money.
I’ve also had the dinner buffet. I like that there’s a lot of extra dishes aside from just meat. Like the lunch buffet, great value for money.
My first time at a KBBQ buffet and I was not disappointed nor impressed. The prices were a little expensive for what you get. The meat was just simple and cheap and not the good value meats you’d get if you paid for the meat separately.
Craving for korean dishes but since I couldnt figure out which one that I wanted, I decided to try korean lunch buffet. Despite the low price, they served a variety of korean dishes from salads, hot meals, soups, chips, korean side dishes, chicken, noodles. The price was amazingly affordable and the taste was quite acceptable with such price. Service was good and the ambience was nice
Environment
It was great on Tuesday night! Not too busy!! Staff were there to help and answer any questions promptly.
Taste
Marinated pork is one of my favourite! I love the variety of food they have to offer. They offer Different types of meats to bbq and traditional Korean foods. Not only that, they have lots of side dishes and sauces too! The pumpkin soup was a little disappointing tho...too artificially sweet for me. However apart from that the food was worth it!

Awesome value for money. The selection was amazing, such a fun thing to do as a family or as friends. Service was great and attentive. Well worth a visit.
I come here regularly. Lunch buffet is really good value, $15 dollars for a bibimbob, that is the price for just Bibimbob as is in other restaurants. You get a big variety of side dishes to choose from on top of bibimbob. The famous KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), fried noodles, selection of street food, soup of the week, traditional omelettes etc.
The ambiance is pretty nice, one of the biggest venues for a restaurant in CBD. They have big function rooms. Good for a big friends catch up, parties, meet ups.. If you do not know what to eat or if you have friends who want to eat different food, here is the place to go. Table for two seem popular as well. Because they look over Mary Street? Or the lighting makes good selfie?
Dinner is all you can eat meat, and you get the side dish as well. They ship in fresh meat every day. I love my meat with veggies and sauce and there is plenty.
I liked this place, good selection of food and place has a nice vibe to it. Different types of meat to cook, lots of different sushi, Korean pancakes, fried finger food. I personally liked cooking my meat and veggies in a hot pot and then adding noodles to the broth after. It’s a great fun experience and nice to have a different type of night out.
Food was great only downfall I was anted hot chips I know it’s a Korean restaurant but I’ve been to where they be served both traditional and non traditional. Anyway meat was good and the setting was nice. Friendly staff only annoyed at paying in one payment instead of having the option of paying individually.
This is my go to korean bbq place in cbd. The quality of food and service is always great and I can say every friend I have taken there falls in love with this place as well. I have eaten here countless times and have not once had the slightest problems. Beef, pork chicken, seafood, some vegetables, fried rice, noodle salad, make your own salad, they've got such a variety of options you can't go wrong (unless you're a vegetarian)
Customer Service : 5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Overall experience: 4.5/5
Really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. This has been the best Korean BBQ experience for my family. It was especially nice when the waiters came to our table and asked if we were enjoying our night, we rarely got that at other Korean BBQ restaurants. The food was spectacular and had a wide variety to choose from. Although we might not be back in a while, you can be sure to see us in the near future. Thanks for the enjoyable night.
Hanwoori Korean Buffet Hwaiting!
We had the dinner buffet. It was good. There was a great option of food to put on the grill. The shaved beef was the best. There was also a nice selection of other foods to eat. So of the fried food was dried but the japchae was fresh and light. Service was quick and definitely one of the least smokey bbq's I have been to.
Staff are friendly and super helpful, food is beautiful and even the buffet style hot food is still perfect and hot
I have been here twice now and have never left disappointed
Good value, selection of meat and seafood is great. Food is delicious; however would be better if more meat was marinated or there were more sauces on offer because it's pretty much exactly like cooking a barbecue at home. I went for anniversary dinner date and it was lovely; however perhaps better suited for big group of people!
My friends are often complaining: Why would you pay for cooking your own meal? Well guys... Don't tell me that you do not find sizzling meat before you attractive 😅😍. All you can eat places are like paradise for me. True, you won't be served premium wagyu beef here. But it's still good quality for less than 35 AUD per person.
Good value for money; however you need to make sure you're hungry. Drinks are expensive but quite nice. Meat was nice - rump steak and beef strips the best. Pumpkin and zucchini on the grill was great too. Good service.
The food is satisfying and filling. The meat is fresh and the sides tastes authentic korean. The staff are friendly and the ambiance is nice. It was a fun and great experience. :)
If you’re looking for value for money in a Korean barbeque then I would definitely recommend coming here. While other places in the CBD provide you with a pre-selected plate of meat for around $60 for two, you can pay $30-$35 per person (depending on the day) and eat as much as you like. I thought the venue itself was really clean and the tables were cleared as soon as people were leaving, the service here is fantastic. The quality of the meat was really quite good, especially the beef. The sides here were okay, some good and some not so good, but with pre-made hot food in a buffet style setting that’s going to be expected. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to stuff yourself with barbecue and get value for money. I wish they had more accompanying sauces but apart from that I thought this place was great. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
A great korean buffet for a very reasonable price! In comparison to other korean buffet restaurants, the quality of the meats used are much fresher. Condiments and hot bar are also not too bad. Ambiance is nice and staff are always friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful ambience! Great staff!! Even took our photos Fresh easily accessible food!! Can't fault u guys xoxoxo
A drinks bar would be a great addition though?
By far the best we have experienced within 7 days exploring Brisbane. Great food. Affordable. Attentive staff. Can't ask for more.
You walk in. You choose a range of meat, from chicken to beef, lamb, pork, prawn, squid, octopus, and cuts, from rib to belly, oyster blade. You get vege, dippings sauce and kimchi. You grill them on wax paper on a hot plate. The wax paper distributes heat evenly so your food will be cooked throughout and won't burn. Then you have a feast. Top it with cold rice wine. The best ever.
I think this restaurant is awesome and really cheap! I mean, 30.99 weekdays and 34.99 weekend for an all you can eat buffet! Can't get any cheaper than that.
You'll get to choose beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. They also provided you with mini salad bar, and Korean hot food (such as japchae, sweet n sour pork, korean fried chicken, korean fried chicken, korean pancake, kimbab, etc). It's amazing.
One tips for you, avoid the hot food station. I mean they look amazing! but, you also can get it somewhere else. And might taste better. Get all the meat (especially the short rib) that you can eat so you won't regret!
Also, be careful to not left behind a lot of food as you will be charged $20. get a little bit at a time (the grill in quite small anyway).
Food is great! Staff are so accomodating and attentive. Good place for a feed. You cant go wrong if you want some delicious bbq. :) awesome sauce!

I have been wanting to try a Korean buffet for a while now and and it was a fun, delicious experience.
I love how the restaurant is so spacious and spread out so you never feel restricted. We had a group of 8 people so it was very comfortable considering.
Although I thought the drinks menu was quite small they didn't disappoint. I tried a Soju cocktail and oh my it was delicious and the glass that it came in was very funky.
For $34 pp I thought it was great value for money. They had a lovely range of Korean cuisine to start with great selections from the hot box. The variety of meats were also quite extensive, good quality at that.
The whole cook it yourself on your little BBQ is such a fun thing. With having a larger group though I think it would be handy to have more BBQs on the table as its a little small for everyone to fit their selection of meat on. I love that they offer to cook your steak for you also. It was cooked to perfection!
All in all this place is a whole lot of fun with good quality food and the staff were amazing
such a good place to satisfy your empty belly with different types of bbq meat. Not only that, they also have cooked meals as well as side dishes ( as Korean should be).
The only thing would be a downside is there is a 2 hour limit. Though it is understandable and it first seems to be long enough, but would be great if we can comfortably sit there and enjoy the meal or drinks without worrying about the time limit.
Have not been to this restaurant for a while and think to visit since the dinner at Shabu Shabu next door not long ago. I like the set-up here with so spacious dining area. They definitely has changed the system since I could order a la carte last time (wow, it had been really a while). With such a hugh place, buzzer on the table (looks only set by Korean restaurant?) would help a lot on any request of drink orders. Food provided is spectacular and all the trays are arranged tidy and neat. Hot food does provide lots of varieties too. Overall impression is good.
Do It Yourself Delight. We've dined here a couple of times now, once in a large group and once with a small group. Each time the staff were friendly and the food fresh. The range of food is excellent and you certainly don't walk away hungry. Having some ready to eat food as an option is a bonus to keep you going while you wait for your food to cook. Unlike some other similar restaurants, the drinks menu is pretty good. The best thing about this place is the little buzzer on the table that magically summons the drinks waiter. Great value, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Not just food, but a great experience. Took my husband here as i read a review in weekend notes, was very unsure as I dont like seafood, but it was great. Heaps of variety and even all the ready made stuff tasted great. My only recommendation would be a few more vegetables for the bbq (some zucchini, carrot, mushroom) as all they had was pumpkin and onion,. Could not fault the staff, friendly and helpful offering advise and also bringing some stuff to the table for us as we didnt know what went with what. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would definitely recommend (unless you're looking for a romantic meal, too noisy for that).
Love it!. Last week, first time to go to the restaurant with husband and my boy. good service, yummy food, reaosnable price and kids friendly. Will definitely go again. :)
10/10. A friend and I met for lunch and stumbled upon this place not knowing what we felt like. We got the $15 buffet which I was skeptical about at first, purely for the fact it was a buffet and so cheap but it was fantastic! The meat was fresh and all good quality. The sides were delicious and tasted very authentic with lots of variety to be offered. Staff were helpful and the venue is beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend this place and I'll be visiting again quite soon!
Good place for carnivores. To start with, $30 for an all-you-can-eat does not deserve a $$$ price tag!
All meats except scotch fillet are prepped In Korean ways, and are of good quality. "Side" dishes are also decent, which is unusual for a buffet.
The service is very asian. People who don't know this probably won't like it, but this is how waitstaffs actually work in asia (at least Japan and S.Korea).
It's a good place to satiate my occasional meat craving.
My Family loved it. We were really impressed with the entire experience food was great service was excellent! Staff were extremely helpful as we were first timers this was great they even brought us several plates cooked by the chef.I guess they thought we were not eating enough. Good value will be back.
Great variety, fast service & a really good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and revisit in the future.
Great food. Really great service. Felt very welcome and the staff were happy to help us explore the different Korean meats and sauces for us newbs.
The bbq buffet was excellent value, delicious and staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere and decor. Will visit again!
I made my way to Hanwoori, a mere 5 minutes from Myers centre in the city without booking but as a group with 20 heads. Not only did they not mind, the service was incredibly impressive- waitress was kind, patient and understanding. It helps if you have a Korean speaker in the group to speed up the process. We were seated right away in the back room and all got BBQ buffet for $19 (lunch). Truly an unbelievable deal for meat buffet dining.
The selection is awesome; there is:
- 12 different types of meat (thin slice beef and pork, marinated beef and chicken, thick pork cuts, steak, ox tongue and many more)
- a salad bar which doesn't disappoint where you create your own
- a variety of korean sauces, and I mean a VARIETY. There is so many I couldn't try them all but it's all delicious hoho
- precooked dishes that lean towards Italian, like pasta, pizzas and meat balls. These taste good (mediocre), but you'd be kind of a fool filling your stomach with pasta at a meat buffet with such succulent meat.
- three soups (pumpkin was one of them) I didn't get to try but there was three pots
The meat is absolutely delectable and the quality of the vegetables were great! There was also a selection of pickles and I totally recommend getting the thin sliced white radish by the sauce selection as it is so refreshing to have with the meat. (No really, do yourself a favour and try it)
The staff were around the corner the whole time but not overly oppressive, just making sure to help out at all times when we were having trouble with anything. They gave us unlimited coke and sprite free of charge even though it usually costs money just because we were such a large group. They also helped us cook some marinated meat half rare, came and put it on everyone's grill to give us a head start HAHAHA. Im the only one familiar with korean bbq and my friends were all clueless so the waitress explained how to cook and cut the meat for them at a alarmingly skilled an fast speed (pure awesome). It was amazingly tasty meat and such a great experience! This was a sensational experience for my favourite aspect of Korean cuisine as it was my birthday outing and I was praying it'll work out, albeit my group being a rather rowdy lot. The staff and the interior of the restaurant is impeccable and without a speck of dust, so chic and nice though not intimidating. This lunch buffet is extremely worth it and I don't think you could find a better deal money and quality wise in Brisbane. I also wouldn't look past Shabuhouse, it's direct neighbour and a hotpot buffet because these two restaurants are both really awesome. Though Hanwoori is totally the one to pick if you, like me, enjoy a copious amount of juicy, fresh and tasty high quality meat to BBQ yourself. Do yourself a favour and go! I can't wait to be back. This place has the best ambience by the way! Bonus.
Good Value $30 Buffet. Good Value at $30 per head. Pick your own meat to cook and plenty of buffet selection and Korean Alcohol. Very Good for a night out..
Large variety for Korean BBQ buffet. Meat cuts were good. Other food was okay. Would've been good if there were some more greens/veg to wrap meats etc. Kimchi was a bit sour. No exhaust pipes at each table meant the whole restaurant was pretty smokey though. Overall, a pleasant place.
Amazing service. We dined with friends and our fussy toddler yesterday - good range of meats for BBQ, salady thingamajigs (not a salad person, but it did look good) and hot food. The staff were very attentive - helped us cook our meats (must have looked really clueless there), recommended sauce combinations and even fed my little monster.
An absolute delight, will definitely return. Three thumbs up (borrowing one thumb from my toddler who was smiling all through dinner).
WOW what an experience. I went to this restaurant last week and had the most amazing Korean experience. As soon as you walk in to this restaurant you could be anywhere! The service was very attentive and watching them cooking the meat on the BBQs adds to the experience. Great for couples and a group of friends.
Fantastic, more like HANtastic.. Not since I returned to Australian shores following a 6 year stint in the depths of Korea have I had a more authentic Korean meal.
Service was great, atmosphere and décor even better.
I've been searching high and low for a place that can whet my once unquenchable Korean appetite.
As Bono, the lead singer of U2 infamously put, "I've finally found what I've been looking for!"
Great food. Great Service. Discounted Parking.. I recently had a private function at this restaurant and it was perfect. The staff were so sweet and were always on hand to explain the dishes and help us cook the Korean bbq. You must try the Japchae potato noodles and the seafood pancake. Beautiful. They also had several projector screens so we were able to see our presentation and that worked very well. Highly recommend for a dinner with friends or book the whole restaurant for a private function.
Park at Festival Tower Carpark in Charlotte St and short walk around the corner. Show your parking ticket to the restaurant cashier as you leave and they will discount it to $7.50 (for parking after 4pm).
