FREE TOMATO SAUCE! š¦šŗš¦šŗI got a steak bacon cheese pie, pastry was nice and crispy puff pastry, great tasting filling and nice chunky ingredients.
ice coffee was good and I'm sure the loaf of sourdough will be awesome too
only negative feedback is the pie was so flaming hot I had to wait to eat it š¤

Today finally I had a chance to try their bread and pastries, wow, loved the olive and rosemary sourdough ššalso tried their almond Croissant and almond and apple danish and they were great too. I would say one of the best bread and pastries I have ever had in Brisbane.
Thank you Miettes for your great products and also great friendly customer service.
Keep up the good work ššš

Wow!! What a surprise it was for me to step into this marvellous place. It has excellent pies, bread, cakes and too many delicious cookies and things to name. The cupcake Christmas trees must be the best in Brisbane.
Sharleen & Anders
Good selection of breads and pastries to eat at tables or take away. They do good coffee as well.
Lisa Nguyen
Good luck trying to pick just 1 pastry to try from their cabinets because everything looks and tastes devine. Once you have, order a coffee which is second to none. Top all of that with friendly service and you have yourself a great morning š
Caroline Zhang
Very friendly and accommodating staff who helped me with an order! Reliable and delicious pastries at a reasonable price too! COULDNT have asked for better service
Diane Kukulies
The food is always baked fresh and coffees taste awesome. People are friendly and quality always high. Highly recommended!

The quality here really varies a lot. One time it's good and the other time its pathetic with poor quality. I usually buy bakery items like corn bread and multigrain / white loaf, plus some danishes. Bread loaf twice was of great quality and softness and the other 2 times - pretty hard and of poor / old quality.

Visited its sibling at Corinda last month so may as well re-explore it for a Saturday brekkie.
Not the first time to come and review although all the old records have been erased for no reason. It was the first time that I encountered a long queue outside this bakery. It took around 5-6 minutes then I could go in and placed my order.
At the beginning, I meant to compare the almond croissant with the product of its sibling but I changed my mind when I saw this ham & cheese croissants sitting in the cabinet.
Took a seat and looked at the savory croissant after it was heated up from the microwave oven. It looks great and a perfect partner to match with the strong Campos flat white.
It is worth to drive for a long time for this brekkie.
No regret at allššš
Previous rating: Aug 2019 4/5

Croissants are not the best in Brisbane but from what Iāve had, Iād say the best in the local area. I enjoy the carrot cake and danishes. Pies are good too.

This Graceville Cafe is an amazing place, with wonderful staff and the best coffee on the Southside. Oh and it just so happens to be the best bakery in Brisbane. Hands downā¤ļø

Broccoli Bread Sandwich (no wheat), great invention :)

Great place. Home made sausage rolls for 50 cents more than a usual bakery.
Staff are polite and quick. Cakes are well priced and good quality

Can't go wrong with the iconic cinna bun. With ~$6, you can get enough soft bread with delicious creamy icing for 2+ people to share, depending on how much you want to eat. Or you can get a small one for ~$3.50 (prices off the top of my head; they may not be exactly accurate).
Robbie Mac
Not the cheapest but we get all or bread from here. Really love the fruit loaf and the apple crumble. The girls who work there are really friendly.

This is the best bakery, I always buy my sourdough bread from there and it's always perfect! The girls are always friendly and helpful. Also you must try the sausage rolls, they're amazing!!!

I also was passing by this cafe later in the afternoon & found not a lot left on the shelves for my dessert. I was actually after an almond croissant, but saw nothing except a plain one which didn't look anything special. Other cakes which appealed were the carrot which had a think layer of what looked like cream cheese fondant on the top (tempting) A very pretty chocolate gateaux (also tempting) Noticed they did Campos coffee though which is on my list to try in the future. I had already had a big enough hit earlier in the day, so opted for a yoghurt & fruit bun which actually tasted & resembled a very fluffy doughnut

The cinnabun was actually one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Soft and fluffy on the inside but with a delicious gooey icing. Oh boy... what a delight!

Popped in for a quick coffee/afternoon tea. For quite a small patisserie/bakery, they have a lot on offer. Being that it was early afternoon when we stopped by, there wasn't as much left in the cabinets but I take that as a good thing! Obviously quite a hit!

Ordered my usual mocha and a pineapple and cheese bread. The coffee was a tad too strong for me - even with the chocolate. I had to add sugar just to try and balance it out. The bread was tasty - soft texture and generous with the toppings.

Definitely need to go back and try more of their treats!

Needed to have a coffee prior to doing some afternoon shopping and Miettes got the pick. The staff seemed friendly but slow to react to customers on arrival. Enjoyed my usual coffee (Campos- another favourite blend) and a Salmon, broccoli quiche. The coffee was on point and exactly the way I like it, excellent coffee- thanks ladies. The quiche was also fantastic, the concept of salmon in a quiche was new to me but prepared to try it and Miettes pulled it off, the salmon was a beautiful addition, it was full of flavour and nowhere near dry, just wonderful.

Im so happy I live 2 mins from this awesome little patisserie. Awesome staff meeting you with a smile, awesome pastries, great coffee and plenty of variety.

Hey Miettes has just opened another store in Corinda!! So today we decided to check out! Located on Oxley Road near the pub!
I was craving some Turkish Bread and Sourdough and ended up deciding to stay for lunch and try the salads and have a coffee. This place has great coffee and another place that uses Campos coffee! The seating at Corinda is more spread out and very relaxing! Rob, my son had a Ham tomato & Cheese on Toasted Turkish Bread. And I had a small serving of their housemade salads 5/5! The flavours were amazing! I actually thought the salads tasted better than Botanica! They have cakes, slices and you have to try the Cinnarolls!
There were a table of ladies nearby who ordered the quiche and a side of the salads! It looked amazing!
NOTE: This is not like supermarket breads! Bread made at Miettes is meant to be eaten that day. If I need to keep it for the next day, I put it in the fridge/ freezer covered correctly to hinder it drying out!
Bon AppƩtit!!

Overpriced for what it is. I live nearby and would come more often if it weren't so overpriced.

The service is average and the coffee could be better. Still not a bad place if I hadn't received some stale bread once. That ruined my view of the place.

I've been meaning to come to this bakery for a while now and youĀ certainly didn't disappoint. I can't stop thinking about the Sausage RollĀ I had... It would have to be the best sausage roll I've everĀ eaten I and I would consider myself anĀ sausage roll connoisseur.Ā I also purchased some sourdough and I couldn't resist a wee dessert, theĀ cinnamon scroll. The only thing I was disappointed about was I didn't by 2 sausage rolls and 2Ā cinnamon scrolls.Ā I'mĀ so glad you're not too close to where I live otherwise I would become very large, very quickly.Ā Thank youĀ so much, can't wait to come back soon... once I've walked offĀ my indulgentĀ Saturday in your bakery.

Miettes is my weekend regular where I get a coffee (Campos is delicious!), an almond crossiant and a loaf of bread. The owners are always very friendly and welcoming of my two dogs, which is always a bonus. This place is a real treat if you are after quality food with wholesome ingredients.

Was looking forward to my daily doppio in the morning. The coffee tasted sour and very acidic, not sure which campos blend they were using, if they were testing out new beans, they should offer another option for the usual "full bodied" blend. Pastries were just alright, definitely overrated.

Miette's is one of our favourite bakeries in Brisbane and it reminds of small,
hole in the wall Latin Quarter bakeries in Paris. Annie is always welcoming
and I being a bread & butter person, I always have a cappuccino and a breadrollĀ
with jam & butter with a nice crusty loaf to take home.
Cath Tavatgis
Have been going here since they opened, have never had a bad experience, my son believe their pies cure everything; Can't count how many favourites I have but just added the mango, passionfruit slice; So yummy

Amazing!. Ham cheese croissant was exactly what we were looking for.
Friendly service is an understatement!
We will definitely be telling people about this little gem.
Keep up the good work Miettes!
Brissyfoodiegirl
The pastries are amazing , always freshly baked and their other baked goodies are insanelyyyyyy delicious !!! Personal faves are : the afghan biscuits and the sour cherry Danishes . Coffee is always great but I only drink black coffee so can't review their lattes/flat whites/cappuccinos
Amy
Beautiful!. A really lovely little cafe. I enjoyed a green tea with a ham & cheese croissant, and my friend a coffee with the requisite cinnabun. The cinnabun was soft and tasty and the croissant was lovely too, hit the spot that day. The service was really friendly. Will definitely come back here to sample more of the tasty wares including their bread which looked really delicious!

Delicious and friendly. It's nice to feel welcome by the friendly staff and enjoy the delicious pastries in the relaxed local atmosphere. I have been eating at Miettes for six years and never once been disappointed.

Beautiful food, but was waaay too busy for me to relax and enjoy. Great stuff for take away .

The cinnamon bun (I think they all it a cinnabun or cinnascroll?) is so good here. I understand why there is always a queue of people lining up - definitely worth a visit.

Fresh from a makeover so Miette's is even better! The Cinne Roll is the perfect sweet fix... Everything else is equally as delicious though. This place is also very kid and pet friendly. One of the best in the Western burbs and that's saying something because there are some really great bakeries in this area.
Kerry
Love. I crave for this place every time I'm back here from melbourne. Their cherry Danishes are my favourite and the coffee is good.

Dissapointed.. With near perfect reviews, I just had to check the place out!

The service wasn't anything great. Their famous cinnamon roll was sampled, soft and sweet. The coffee was fine but I expected more for campos. I had a spinach, fetta cheese and pinenut savoury sourdough and it wasn't even reheated. It was hard as a brick and didn't taste delectable. It certainly didn't meet my expectations. They had a very limited selection and felt more like a bakery than patisserie. Macarons nor eclairs were not spotted.

I did taste the wares nearing the end of the day and didn't taste any of the 'real' dessert delights so I will make an effort to return to sample these and keep you updated!
Melikins
50-50. I bought two items from here, one of their cinnabuns and a berry streusel. The cinnabun was delicious, whilst the berry streusel (actually a sour cherry tart) was definitely not. The pastry was horrible and tasted like chewy, stale bread. The big cubes of pastry on top that were meant to be the streusel topping were too big and just as gross as the rest of the pastry. The sour cherry filling was very nice, however.
I guess just stick to the cinnabuns, and you'll be fine.

THE VANILLA SLICE!!!!. .... is heavenly.... the best I have ever had ANYWHERE.......
I had never thought that I would eat something so rich and luscious so early in the morning.... oh but my.... it was worth it.
I recommend you forget about anything else.
Oh, but no, if you do that then there won't be any left for me!!!
So no, don't listen to me... eat the pies... cakes... and steer clear of the vanilla slice....

How fresh it is!. There is no disputing how fresh the food is at Mietteās, especially with the volume of customers that are constantly coming and going! Although some of the items I tried Iāve liked better at other bakeries (just a personal preference), the friendly, energetic and enthusiastic staff and the great prices makes this a must visit place!

It was a Saturday morning (25 Aug) when my partner and I got up early and were specifically headed to Mietteās as my partner had discovered this place earlier in the week and had brought home a Pain au Chocolat and a plain Croissant. They had been fresh and delicious but too bready for how a croissant should be. (For a comparison I recommend trying the pain au chocolat at La Vosh Patisserie in Red Hill and a croissant at Le Bon Choix in Hamilton.) That being said, my partner still wanted us to go as there were a lot more items to choose from and the staff had been quite friendly.

We had arrived relatively early but you could tell Mietteās was already in full swing! There were a fair amount of people in line and quite a few sitting outside under a covered area. But things inside the shop were moving quickly and the flow was fast and steady! I was very impressed by the efficiency.

My partner had been right and there was a lot to choose from. So we began ordering up a storm, some to have there and some to take home. To eat there, we ordered the Steak & Curry Pie ($4), Cheese Tomato & Salsa Verd ($3.60), Spinach, Feta & Pumpkin Triangle ($3.60) and a Long Black ($3.20). To take home we got a Bacon & Cheese Bun ($3.60) and a Mini Turkish Bread ($1.50). The entire time we were putting in our order the girl serving us was cheerful, good natured and helpful ā what wonderful customer service!

We found a table outside and moments later our food arrived. I started with the spinach, feta & pumpkin triangle. I found that there was a lot of bread around the actual filling and I have to admit, I prefer it when the filling comes to the edges inside (like a spanakopita). Once I got to the filling the distinctive taste of feta was amazing! And there was no shortage of spinach! The pumpkin, although an interesting idea, didnāt compliment the triangle in any way for me. As I was eating I came across a couple of kalamata olives which had not been listed on the signage for this item. Luckily, I do love olives so this was a bonus!

My partnerās cheese, tomato & salsa verd was spectacular in flavour! Absolutely wonderful in waking up the tastebuds! Both of us were huge fans of this as we really enjoy the taste of Italian herbs and spices.

Lastly we split the steak & curry pie which had been keeping warm in the display case. Nice and flaky pastry with the filling bursting tremendously with curry! The steak was tender and the gravy was dark and rich. Perhaps not a traditional breakfast item, it certainly was worth waking up for!!

My long black had a good strong flavour and was not bitter or burnt and it definitely went well with the items we had chosen.

We left Mietteās feeling happy and full and that it had been well worth our time to come here! I would recommend this bakery to anyone who values quality for their money and likes to be treated well. Mietteās has got this down to an art!

I was just about to order coffee but a cinnamon roll caught my eye. I could never resist ordering one whenever see one. Very very moist and not top heavy not too light texture. Best to go with coffee which was a bit too bitter to my liking. Friendly casual but pleasant service. I quite enjoyed mystay at miette's.
Tim
Enjoyable. Good coffee, lovely Cinabun(?). Friendly staff with prompt service, will be back

Fabulous little treasure in Graceville. Great friendly service, delicious Campos coffee- delectable desserts!! Enjoyed leisurely afternoon tea with my niece. Coffee, hot chocolate - light fluffy Cinnabon - heavenly! Also we couldn't resist bite sized caramel tarts and lemon curd tartlets- one word- divine!!!!
Chris
Best in the West.. Delicious sandwiches and pies, great variety of artisan breads, unbelievably tasty sweets and pastries, Campos coffee made to perfection. What more could you want!
Laura Bradbury
We only get take away and have never been disappointed. The sourdough is so soft and fresh. Would also recommend the chocolate croissants and the caramelised onion and cracked pepper sourdough.
Beth2411
Disappointing. I used to come here all the time for some coffee and bread but I became sick of the bad service. I always noticed the regulars would be treated one way & others (including myself) another. It always seemed like an effort to make my coffee. Usually the staff would be laughing & carrying on with one another while you stood there for a substantial amount of time waiting. The tables & benches were nearly always dirty & piled with dirty dishes. Fair enough this place gets busy but there's nothing that makes me want to go back.
Trinh Do
Pleasant first experience. Great chocolate mousse with a taste of liqueur in it. The quiche lorraine and smoked salmon/broccoli quiche are quite nice and fresh too.
Would be nice if there are more French authentic dishes as there are lots of extremely sweet desserts that don't look too good.
Mag
Great bread, you can be pleased with anything you buy. Prices have gone up a lot. That's a shame.
Michele
Michelle. Had heard great things about this place - what a letdown!
The only table free outside had a large yellow sticky puddle at the feet of my chair, the service was rude - when I asked for the mini pizza the girl asked which one, I said 'the one there', which was the only one and she snapped at me as if I was stupid, 'I said which one!!' then I replied there is only one there but she didn't apologize. Anyway it tasted about a week old and the eclair my husband ordered was very ordinary, have had far better. It's a shame as our expectations were pretty high having Urbanspooned it and missed going to a cafe in Graceville instead to come here.
Sue
Sourdough delights. Tried the fig & ginger sourdough this morning - spectacular!
Kat
Amazing almond croissants. The best sausage rolls I've had anywhere. Yum!!
Amy
Best Muffins in Brisbane. Miette's serves the best "Sweet Muffins" in Brisbane. I have had both raspberry and blueberry and they were delicious. The muffins have a cinnamon suger crust and are were not dry at all. Many other bakery items available and look delicious!
Tammy
Miettes uses Campos coffee, which is supposedly good I suppose, but my skinny latte turned out too dark. Ā It was a bit too bitter for me and left me a bit disappointed. The cake's flavour was decent, but was a bit difficult to cut, as it had many different layers. Ā The texture was a bit chewy, which I had mixed feelings about, but the chocolate layers were good. Ā I was expecting more of a flaky crunch, and perhaps the look of the cake was deceiving, but it was a bit heavy and not really my thing. Ā Maybe I should have gone for the lighter passionfruit flavoured cake, or a croissant instead.
